Great service and great food. The pies are absolutely incredible. One tip; chipotle seasoning on fries makes them pop, give it a shot!

We hit up quite a few diners on our recent road trip and this one stood out. We collectively had the Chicken fried Steak, Pancakes, French Toast, etc and all were very good. LOTS of locals in the diner, which usually means things are good, and they were. I can't imagine being in Pahrump again anytime soon, but this would be my obvious food choice if I were. read more

Came here based on other reviews and I'm not sure what all the buzz is about with this place. Average prices, for average portions, of average tasting food. There is nothing special about this place. Service wasn't bad. Overall this place is average at best. I will probably not be back unless prices go down, portions go up, or something special is added to the plain Jane menu. Nice quaint little place. Decided to stop in on our way home after looking through yelp for some ideas of what was available in the area. Very friendly people and the food was good. If you don't mind sitting very close to other customers then you will have a good time. We enjoyed the conversations we had with two neighboring tables. Place was very busy and we were in no rush to be served as we could see the staff was working hard to accommodate everyone. I gave 4 stars because our food wasn't hot when we received it but it still tasted good. Homestyle food, friendly people we will be back for sure. read more

Excellent! I can't recall the title, but I had the 1/2 lb burger with bacon and grilled onions. I don't know what they do to the cheese on that burger, but it was amazing. One of the best burgers I've had, ever. Service was attentive and friendly. Prices are very good. I'll be back! read more

Interesting place with okay food and pretty fast service. I had a BLT - made with iceberg lettuce, fatty bacon and white bread. The potato salad was good. Hubs had pot roast, that came with what looked like frozen mixed veggies that had been steamed or boiled. The lemonade and raspberry tea were made from powdered mixes. Seems to me a place named Mom's would have homemade versions of those two things. read more

Went there for dinner with my wife I got a Philly cheese sandwich and the wife got biscuits and gravy my Philly was not very good not alot of beef and the taste was bland my wife biscuits and gravy were less than appetizing the pork sausage was pink and not cooked all way when we brought this to the attention of the owner she said that she would get the chef and he than proceeded to tell me that that is the way it is to look I don't know about you but I know raw pork so never going back there again they made me and my wife feel uncomfortable and basically said we were stupid read more

We just moved to Pahrump and are trying out the local restaurants. We were looking for a breakfast place and Mom's showed up in the list. Mom's is a little off the main road but it is easy to get too. Is is a smaller place, and very dinerish on the inside. We had to wait a few minutes for a table. Once seated the service was quick. We ordered a Denver omelette and biscuits and gravy. The omelette was terrific! Light and fluffy. The hash browns were crispy on the top and moist and tender inside. The biscuits were the best I've had in a long time. Fluffy and a little warm. The gravy had a really good consistency. It was creamy, however, it lacked any real flavor. I like my biscuits and gravy to be a little spicy. I would give five stars if the gravy had a little more flavor. We'll be back as some of the other menu items looked good. read more

This is my favorite in Pahrump. If you love Clam Chowder and fish, go in on Friday night. ALWAYS a delicious creamy Clam Chowder and my favorite is when they have Orange Roughy on special - Expertly Parmesan Crusted Orange Roughy with and exceptional cream sauce. It was recommended from FrontSight. After a long and tiring day we came here. The restaurant was a little tricky to find but easily found with the map app on the phone. It's a cute little restaurant. Great atmosphere. Our waitress didn't smile much but the food was amazing. My dad said the liver and onions was the best he has had in a looooong time. I had the bacon cheeseburger and my sister had the Slam Dunk burger. All plates were cleaned and everyone spoke the praises of their meal. The first west coast restaurant I've found that has pork tenderloin sandwiches. It was delicious and the service was great!

Stopped in for lunch after searching for a place to eat while in pahrump. Cute little diner with interesting old decor on the walls. It was pretty crowded, but we didn't mind. Food came out fairly quick. Boyfriend ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. Gravy was Sooo good. My burger was cooked medium like I asked and was very tasty. Servers were attentive, even though I didn't get a refill on my drink, understandable seeing how busy they were. We took a piece of the bread pudding with brandy sauce to go and it was worth every bite. I don't go to pahrump often, but will definitely be back. read more

I've eaten here for quite a while. Food is good, as is service. Buy a "Mom's" coffee cup and get free coffee with your meal, but that's changed. Today I had french toast, but was charged for coffee because "that's not a full meal." The menu doesn't indicate what a "full meal" is so I suppose you have to ask when you order. Also, they now have ceiling fans going full blast, I was cold and if you don't wolf down your food, count on it being cold. I asked about the fans and was fold there was nothing they could do. Everytime, I'm at Frontsight I make sure to eat hear at least once. The service is great. And once they start recognizing you they will even go out of their way to make a run to their other store and get you a slice of Apple pie across town. Yes, they did that for me! My family and I decided to take a field trip to Pahrump for the first time as we lived in Las Vegas for the past 10 years and had never visited. I wanted to support the economy in my little way (economic shutdown due to covid-19) and decided to order a snack just before dinner time) from Mom's Diner. I phone ordered a "mom-strosity" burger and a couple sides of fries yesterday and let me tell you that the food and service was awesome. The burger was moist, juicy and the cheese was melted all over the burger. I commented to my daughter that this is how we would create/make our own burgers at home but without the hassle of breaking out the grill and preparing all the toppings. My mom and dad wanted their side of fries "extra crispy" and the staff there prepared them to perfection! Thank you to the Mom's Diner staff for our meal and the great service! Can't wait to get back to Pahrump and visit our new favorite diner! read more
