I own a 3 1/2 year old Jacuzzi hot tub that was due for some maintenance. I had a bit of mold…read moreproblem going on... major bummer, as well as a couple parts that needed replaced. Jacuzzi is the absolute top of the line and has special massaging jets that the others just don't have. I'm a disabled vet with some ortho issues and my Jacuzzi hot tub helps a lot to help ease through a lot of ortho pain. Well, nobody wants to get into a moldy hot tub. Especially one that the heater has forgotten when to say enough is enough... I went in to see Kevin in the Fredericksburg Premium Billiards and Jacuzzi store. Kevin is the GM for the area and lucky for me, he happens to call our Fredericksburg store... home base. He took the time to hear everything that was going on with my hot tub. He carefully considered every issue and then he spent probably 15 minutes hand writing out a full page of instructions for me and collecting all the chem's and replacement filters I'd need to get my hot tub back to factory settings again... and he got a trouble ticket in under my warranty to get my heater fixed. And for you Vets... he gave me a nice Veteran's discount. Make sure you let him know your Red, White and Blue inside and out!!! I can't recommend Premium Billiards and Jacuzzi strongly enough... These folks are great, and more than helpful! We are on a well, and the water has iron. For some…read morestrange reason, it's also soft. I contacted two other spa places, including the one that sold us our spa, to figure out why the fresh water looked dirty and why it wasn't balancing. Neither spa's customer service person was helpful, and both were somewhat insulting. One told me I was doing my laundry wrong and proceeded to tell me how to wash a swimsuit - no kidding. Bizarre. I called Luxury Pool and Spa and told them the whoooooole story. They quickly offered to test a water sample. Once tested, they were able to determine where the problems were. And it wasn't my laundry technique. They gave me step-by-step instructions to clear and balance my spa water without having to drain the spa and start over. They retested it, free of charge, to make sure the water quality was improving, and continued to test until I was satisfied with the water quality and comfortable in maintaining my spa. I wish I had purchased my spa from them to start with.

Stopped in for a new backwash hose. Knew nothing about them. They asked if it was 1 1/2". I said I…read moredidn't know and asked if that was standard. I looked it up, saw that 1 1/2" and 2" are the most common. Bought it, took it home, and it's too small. I called them to see if I could return it thinking there would be zero issue with that since I was just in there and they knew that I didn't know what size it was. Nope, they don't accept returns because they cannot return it, apparently. I guess reselling it isn't an option? And the salesperson should have informed me that it wasn't eligible for return once it was opened. Had she done that, I wouldn't have purchased it, I would have went and measured mine first. We won't be doing business with them again, ever. When local businesses stack higher prices AND poor customer service, then it's time to shop online. Update: mine is 1.5" I.D. This product states that it is for a 1.5" discharge pipe. That's obviously not the case, since it doesn't fit like it should. Based on this new evidence, a refund should be issued because the hose doesn't fit, when it should. It's no longer a case of me purchasing the wrong size now. Which still should have been eligible for a refund. Another update: When I called, the salesperson told me that it fits REALLY snug. Oh, so you're aware that this product is trash because you've dealt with this with other customers, yet you're STILL selling this garbage? Find a better product to sell, one that actually fits like it should.

A feature didn't work, and while they did offer to pick up the hot tub and repair it, I didn't like the thought of having the wiring and plumbing undone. Plus who knows what other issues might arise when it is moved to their shop and back. An refund of $200 was offered by the manufacturer, but I didn't feel that was sufficient. A very kind salesperson (Rachel) offered to check with the owners. Months have passed without an answer and numerous phone calls. Needless to say I will not be recommending Luxury Pools & Spas on Pump Road -- poor service when you can't get the owners to stand behind their products! Owners are clearly in it for the $$$ and didn't even bother to call.

I did my research, found Marquis to be among the elite brands and the bonus was that they are American made. We walked into Hot Tubs and Pool Tables Outlet in Manassas where we were very cordially greeted by Drew who was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful with everything from explaining specifications to the ownership experience and expert care and maintenance. Once we were told our Marquis Epic spa had arrived, delivery was prompt. Greg and his team placed the spa exactly where I wanted it and made sure that I was completely satisfied. Drew had recommended Electrical Connections, LLC, Nate is the master electrician, who had us hooked up in no time so that we were ready to enjoy our spa. Now I am proud to support American manufacturing and Marquis is employee owned, but on occasion there are glitches and we experienced a leak from one of the jets - after calling Dawn regarding this issue, it was addressed immediately by James, their service technician. He came out right away, identified the problem, called the manufacturer who sent him a plethora of parts to ensure a quick and correct fix. Needless to say that this issue was resolved expeditiously and was some of the best customer service I've ever encountered! We are enjoying our spa immensely and would strongly recommend Marquis spas that you can purchase from an expert dealer. The team at Hot Tubs and Pool Tables Outlet are second to none; Drew, Dawn, James and Greg made thus an exceptional experience. Had a different company do our pool opening this year. As soon as they came out, they knew it…read morewasn't properly winterized. Thanks to Turner's pool who closed it last year, our main drain wasn't air capped properly and the two way is cracked by the pump causing a heavy leak and has to be replaced and repaired. We could not open the pool on time as we had to schedule this repair. Once it is on, we may also have other leaks as there was clearly water in the line. I am going to be involving an attorney if they do not contact me immediately. It is clearly a reoccuring theme with this company per the other reviews here. The guys who showed up last year, could barely communicate with us. One stayed in the car smoking and they threw the plugs in the dirt when they were done. Extremely unprofessional company, please do your research and do not use this one for your pool needs, or it will cost you later. I look forward to seeing you in court!
