I contacted two other spa places, including the one that sold us our spa, to figure out why the fresh water looked dirty and why it wasn't balancing. Neither spa's customer service person was helpful, and both were somewhat insulting. One told me I was doing my laundry wrong and proceeded to tell me how to wash a swimsuit - no kidding. Bizarre. I called Luxury Pool and Spa and told them the whoooooole story. They quickly offered to test a water sample. Once tested, they were able to determine where the problems were. And it wasn't my laundry technique. They gave me step-by-step instructions to clear and balance my spa water without having to drain the spa and start over. They retested it, free of charge, to make sure the water quality was improving, and continued to test until I was satisfied with the water quality and comfortable in maintaining my spa. I wish I had purchased my spa from them to start with.

Many issues: -Concrete color is salmon, not tan, even AAA workers have said they don't think it is the color they intended -$10k in damages to asphalt driveway (that we were assured by the owner wouldn't happen because we would start our build in January when the ground is frozen) -Major grading issues that causes pool to flood any time it rains -Project abandoned by Brian in August 2021 -Firepit was thrown off to the side and not incorporated into our design -Poor Quality/Workmanship with concrete: no 90° angles, crooked lines, sharp surface, etc. -Tan fence installed with 3-4 different shades (after wrong fence color against our HOA was delivered) -Backwash line overflows/doesn't drain and is eroding our basement foundation and retaining wall -Not enough characters to continue this list. May 2022: Still waiting on project to be finished/corrected. No urgency because this is their "busy season" and have new pools to install. This is the biggest financial mistake I have ever made. Richard Shaver (owner) sat at my breakfast table and told my husband and I that he would build us a backyard oasis. He talked about God and doing good for people. Haven't heard from him since the day we signed the contract. I would love for him to photograph our project and proudly present it on his social media without using Photoshop. Thanks to Turner's pool who closed it last year, our main drain wasn't air capped properly and the two way is cracked by the pump causing a heavy leak and has to be replaced and repaired. We could not open the pool on time as we had to schedule this repair. Once it is on, we may also have other leaks as there was clearly water in the line. I am going to be involving an attorney if they do not contact me immediately. It is clearly a reoccuring theme with this company per the other reviews here. The guys who showed up last year, could barely communicate with us. One stayed in the car smoking and they threw the plugs in the dirt when they were done. Extremely unprofessional company, please do your research and do not use this one for your pool needs, or it will cost you later. I look forward to seeing you in court!

Getting service this year has been a nightmare. I replaced the entire mechanism for ~$1200 last year. This year (in March 2026), it detached from the hot tub, rendering it unusable in the prime spring weather. - I spent the last 10 weeks trying to get someone to come out to repair it (offered to pay full price) but no reponse. - Initially spoke to someone in the service center, who told me I needed a "bracket", and that it was on backorder. - A month later (in April), I reached back out to service center to check on status. I was told the original person I spoke to was no longer with the company, and the part wasn't the issue. - I asked to speak with a manager; was told to speak to Jeff. - Left multiple messages with Jeff, but he never got back to me. -Filled out the "service form", also no response. After 10 weeks, I got fed up waiting and went the DIY route. Located YouTube instructions on how to remove the panel. Once I did that, I saw the plywood they used to re-install cover lifter last year (which bears ~150 lbs of load btw) was only 1/8" thick, which would explain why the mechanism failed. I installed a 1" board, then remounted the screws on the lifting arm and closed up the panel. Fingers crossed, this will do the trick. As mentioned, the tub works mostly as advertised; Hot Springs equipment is great. However Capital Hot Tub doesn't seem to care about customers once they've made their purchase. The whole point of paying a premium price is to avoid this kind of hassle, and not have to DIY fix your stuff on the weekend.

After having poor experiences with some of their competitors, I've been very pleased with their professionalism and attention to detail while still offering competitive prices. I appreciate their work order reports and the very detailed pictures that they include. I also wanted to call out two of their employees, specifically -- Nahum and Miguel. This year, due to all of the snow, our pool cover caved in and the pool cover pump accidentally pumped out most of the pool water before we discovered it. That, coupled with lots of leaves in the pool, made for a much more difficult opening this year. Nevertheless, Nahum and Miguel went the extra mile to get the pool to open very clean and clear. They spent extra time but did so with a very positive, helpful attitude that I appreciated. I would highly recommend them.

While our original experience and the delays remain unchanged, it is only fair to acknowledge their effort to make things better. After more than six weeks, our pool liner project is still not complete because Millennium Pools has measured the liner incorrectly multiple times. We are now waiting for a third liner and hoping it finally fits. To make matters worse, the company removed our old liner and left our pool empty and without a liner for two weeks while we wait for the replacement. What should have been a routine liner installation has turned into a lengthy and frustrating process. The company has offered no discount or compensation for the delays, inconvenience, or loss of use of our pool, despite the fact that the mistakes were entirely their own. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars with this company and expected better service, communication, and accountability. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Millennium Pools.

When we were discussing the scope of the work, he kept randomly quoting some Patriotic quote that made me more and more uncomfortable the more he said it because he was coming off like a "Proud Boy" that was triggered by how nice my home was considering a young black single woman bought it. After I caught on to what he pulled with the bill and went to his store to discuss it, he gaslit tf out of me saying he was no longer doing business with ME to save face in front of the new young woman at the desk I'm certain he's attracted to - reframing me as the issue not his politics and greed. Be forewarned. Especially if you're a person of color. This man is a live wire.
