Check-in security process was smooth, drinks were good we ordered the margaritas in the refillable cups but never got refills because I'm not the person that leaves there spot at the concert and it's also a fairly large drink! We were right up at the stage and during the opening act and main they actually had a beverage/bar cart come through at the security fence which I thought was pretty smart. Great sound, wonderful view from where we managed to stand, and good crowd.

The venue felt significantly oversold, to the point where it was nearly impossible to move comfortably. From where I was standing, I couldn't see the stage at all, which made it hard to enjoy the performance I came to see. Beyond just being crowded, it felt unsafe. The number of people packed into the space seemed excessive, and I genuinely question whether it exceeded fire code limits. People were standing all the way back into the bar area. Navigating through the crowd was difficult, and there didn't appear to be enough room for people to exit easily if needed. I've been to this venue since its 2017 opening and had much better experiences, but this event felt poorly managed. I hope they take crowd capacity and guest safety more seriously in the future.

My husband told me he tried several times to get the attention of one of the ladies and she turned her back to him. Also an experience I had with the ladies last time I was here. There was an incident where a girl slipped on water that was puddled on the floor and fell face first, knocking herself unconscious for a couple of minutes during the set for post crucifixion, and only my husband and I helped her, despite there being security there. I even tried once more to get the attention of a gal behind the bar with short black hair to get a towel to pick up the spill and she would not even turn to face me. I cleaned the spill myself by reaching over the bar and grabbing napkins, since the employees didn't seem to care. That will be the last time I attend this venue. I don't believe they care about their patrons and the staff is pretty rude.

It's a great, small intimate space to see an artist you know well or discover something new. Last time we were there was to see one of our favorites, Black Pistol Fire, this past spring. We love that band and have seen them perform many times, we were happy they played at crescent. They have such great energy during shows and the lead singer always gets into the crowd, last time he went over to the back bar and played guitar on it. Was pretty awesome! This recent time we went to see rapper Intuition from LA. He was opening for Wax & Dj Hoppa. They were new to me, but it was a great hip hop show. Generally the sound is good in the venue and they have a bar up front with some seating. Behind the curtain where the stage is, there's a bar back too. There are also bleachers but I usually don't sit on them, but they are there if needed. Cocktails are like regular bar prices, and good thing, they are quality drinks. I had the whiskey sour and old fashioned. Both were very good with quality spirits. At $16, they should be good and not some afterthought cocktail. They also have beers on tap for like $8. There are proper procedures for questionable IDs, and this was NOT one of them. No apology, no attempt to resolve the situation -- just unnecessary force and a complete lack of basic respect. If this is how they treat people at the door, I can't imagine how the rest of the establishment operates. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else where staff know how to handle situations professionally. I'm just curious - is the security guard now going to pay for her new ID?? This is OUTLANDISH behavior coming from a plain old Jane of a security guard. Clearly he didn't make the cut at the police academy...

You cannot get water without paying for it (they only will sell pricey bottled waters), and even if you're just getting soda water from the fountain, they will charge your four dollars for a refill! My husband paid $12 for 3 small cups of soda water with a bunch of ice on a recent visit. You can buy cases of seltzer for that price! Their cocktails and wines are on point with other local establishments, but charging $4 for water - especially in Phoenix - feels a little scammy.

It tries to be those things and fails in all. The layout: It's a long narrow room. The stage is on the smaller far end. The tables are arranged going back along the long direction. If you're sitting more than halfway back you'll be disappointed in the seating. In the back are high-top tables which are very small. The "bar" is along the long wall. The "restaurant" is catered food ( I don't think the venue has a kitchen). It's arranged buffet style on portable tables in the lobby. You go in a line and chose your dinner and they hand it to you in a plastic to-go container. You eat at your table and then bus your leftovers and trash to the trash can. There is no wait service. Just like eating at a fast food restaurant. If your sitting at a small high-top table there's not enough room for more than two people to eat. You'll be seated with strangers and they'll be right in your face as you eat. The "bar" only has beer and wine for alcohol. Or you could get a canned mixed drink. Stand in line and wait your turn at the end of the bar. The bar seats are reserved for the show. Remember no wait service. So if you want a drink during the show you have to go to the bar. Music was not Jazz. Very slow, boring folk. The crowd was 70+ year olds. And they charge for this experience? Won't be going back.

I took all of 5 sips from it and it was mostly full. The door person told me that cops cannot tell the difference between a liquid death can and an alcohol can. A cop being able to tell the difference is on them and me, not the venue. Taking a $6 water from someone in 100 plus degree weather after they spent 15 minutes in your venue that cost $28 is beyond ridiculous.. What an absolute waste of my time and money! To the venue, you obviously have taken a lot of pride in the space, please treat your guests how you would want to be treated.. Don't take on events that you don't have the proper space for and don't sell liquid death WATER if you are not going to be logical and respectful about guests taking it with them when they leave the venue..

Based on how this place is described and marketed, we were expecting an intimate, vintage-feeling evening where we could sit down, have a cocktail, listen to jazz, and enjoy the atmosphere. That was not our experience. There were definitely things we liked. The location was great, the overall theme and decor were beautiful, the lighting created a great atmosphere, and we enjoyed the food and drinks. The service was also very good. However, the entertainment was a huge miss and completely took us out of the experience. We walked in and the band was performing "Genie in a Bottle," followed by other current/recent pop songs, Backstreet Boys songs, and "Creep." The singer was repeatedly screaming into the microphone and encouraging everyone to scream and make noise. At one point, while sitting in what is supposed to be a speakeasy, we were literally listening to him sing "creep" which is one of the most depressing songs of all time. It felt much more like being at a loud dive bar or country bar than an intimate 1920s inspired speakeasy. My biggest issue is that the entertainment did not match the experience being advertised. You can decorate a room beautifully and make it look like the 1920s, but when the soundtrack is "Genie in a Bottle," "Creep," and Backstreet Boys songs being loudly belted into a microphone, the illusion disappears pretty quickly. The noise level also made it difficult to simply sit, have a drink, talk, and enjoy the space. We specifically chose this place because we wanted that relaxed jazz/speakeasy experience, and that simply wasn't what we got. The cocktail selection was another disappointment. For a speakeasy-style bar, I expected a stronger selection of specialty bourbon and whiskey cocktails. The prices also felt excessive for the overall experience. On top of the already-high prices, we paid a $20 entertainment cover ($10 per person) specifically for the band. I wouldn't have minded paying a cover for quality live entertainment that fit the advertised atmosphere, but the artist was not particularly impressive and, more importantly, the music didn't fit the theme at all. There is a lot of potential here. The space itself is beautiful, the service was good, and they nailed many of the visual details. Unfortunately, the entertainment is such a major part of a speakeasy experience that it overshadowed everything else for us. If you're specifically looking for jazz, flapper-era music, and an authentic-feeling 1920s speakeasy atmosphere, I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

I get it, if their is going to be a good headliner there is going to be lots of people. But why sell so many tickets, and not have the room for everyone who bought a ticket? Doesn't make much sense. Once in to the narrow entry space, you are kind of bottle necked with the merch tables and then the stage is almost right there -- I wonder if they have ever had a different set up there, it doesn't flow very well -- but anyhow.... I cruised over to the bar and ordered a couple of drinks that were heavily watered down -- should have stuck to beer or shots. The servers were pleasant but not overly helpful basically a bunch of rebels, LOL. The sound inside is fairly decent but perhaps the band couldn't hear themselves so they kept turning up the sound! Luckily they had ear plugs at the bar. Also after standing up for a period of time my old legs were getting tired and also there was a wall of tall people standing in front of me so it was hard to see -- I walked toward the back and there were some tables! Yay! Actually it was easier to see the stage from way back there too and there was an open chair. They have a small patio out the back and you can bring your drinks but they are very strict about only cigg smoking back there -- I saw a couple of ladies getting in trouble for smoking weed -- and then after that the security kept coming out there. Overall it is a decent spot to see a low-mid level band, definitely no frills so don't except a red carpet!! I would like to come back for once of their dance nights -- it looks fun.

It's not the burner/rave/PLUR culture that I love but definitely not douchy like some Scottsdale clubs. Something in between, artsy and funky- It's a unique and cool place. There's an outdoor patio out front with a bar area, apparently there's a downstairs area that I didn't see, not sure if it was open for that night, and then there's a main bar and dance floor area with some seating & tables around the outside of the room. The decor is dubbed as futuristic, I'm not sure it's really that specifically, but it's cool with the big mirrored spheres on the ceiling and walls inside and large LED screen behind the DJ booth. It was a really fun show, we went for DJs Love Language and I also liked Supertaste who came on afterwards. I had a blast dancing to their sets. I will just take off a star due to my experience of some of the other party people there were a bit rude, and that affects the overall vibe. The drinks were fine, nothing special, not outrageously expensive. I have no idea if they have food, we went to dance. I do love that there's a parking garage behind the club and there was plenty of street parking when we arrived at like 1030pm. It's a solid spot to dance. I still have my favorite places in the valley, but I'm sure I'll be back here sometimes too.

What I was disappointed to hear was music from the 2010s and other songs I didn't even know. I listen to mostly 2000s music if not exclusively and heard none of the appropriate club music. It was disappointing to have been looking forward to this event for its theme only for that theme to have been ignored. On another note, the LAN party from a couple of weeks ago had a great DJ/djs and vibe with the consoles in the courtyard. I'm so glad that the promoters are using this venue. I don't remember any food or a food truck of any kind. That's cool. The bar staff has always been very kind even if you're just passing by. The bathrooms are at the back. Plenty of space to stand and watch the show. They do have a great sense of ambience. Not just the decor of the venue, but how it's set up. They have these garage doors that can open up. So that's cool if you wanna like hang at the patio but still listen to the band. The patio area is where the merchandise is usually located. Even the people that greeted you and asked you about the usual ID, tickets, etc... I was recently at a venue and the person asking about the tickets or taking the money wasn't exactly nice. Luckily, I knew some of the security, she was totally cool. anyway, aside from the ambience in the venue, the stage has its own. Decent size, great lighting, and they might be using a hazer. The sound has always been impeccable. They have it locked in. There are some bands that I was questioning the mix at other venues, but they seem to have it dialed in, especially with vocals. Overall, if you like going to bar shows, go check out the place.

They always have great local and national acts. I like that when the weather allows, they can roll up the doors so you can hear the music on the patio as well as inside. Sound is great. Drink prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. No food, so eat before you go. And it's got one of the coolest green rooms in town.

After parking and getting lost in the parking garage- yeah, we don't make it into the city much but we got a couple flights of stairs in for no apparent reason that would later benefit the additional IPAs we drank during the show ‍ I loved that we got sat right in front next to the stage. Before I go anywhere I look into reviews on Yelp and Google to see the do/donts, and deals/tricks. Yes, plan to get comfy with your neighbor- they sit parties across from one another. As a party of two we sat next to another couple and so on. I'll admit, I'm not a size zero and my husband is 6'5- it was a bit uncomfortable. I can't imagine being on the thicker side or even an elder managing to get out and maneuver around seated patrons to go to the restroom and what not. We knew the two drink minimum would be required so we opt for the beer bucket that included six beers of your choice mix/match accordingly. Worked out great since they had Church Music and we shared an order of wings as we had dinner plans later. Service was great! Our server checked on us multiple times throughout the show. Reviews mention that it gets hot in there since they pack everyone in. It was freezing and I didn't take my jacket. I would've went back to the car to get it but it's a walk and we got lost on the way in lol. In Arizona businesses overcompensate during the summer and you'll find you wear your jacket more in the summer months inside than during the winter. Parking is free- just make sure you take your ticket with you and they'll scan it. We will definitely be back- yes, drinks are overpriced and tickets were reasonable. As for the show- not bad. Great laughs carried throughout and it's always dependent on the act which should be a separate review from the venue. Looking forward to more date nights in the city for sure!

I also wished that the games were clear as to how many tokens you needed to play them. I only had 3 tokens left and wanted to try pinball only to realize that it costs a $1 to play them. They really need to do maintenance on their arcade machines.

I munched on hot Cheetos and drank soju and had a great time singing the night away! We got two mics. One was louder than the other and even though we asked the staff, they "fixed" it but didn't really. When selecting songs from YouTube on the screen, we had to be sure to pick videos that had lyrics. We messed up several times so that was annoying. Other than that, it was a nice time with my girl friends!

Great little club with pretty dancers that aren't aggressive. Limited bar seating so be prepared to…read moresit at a table on the main floor. Drinks are a little pricier than other clubs but are served quickly.
