Staff is not friendly or helpful. They wouldn't let you be with your pet, the price is high and the most annoying thing is they put my cat back in his dirty bag with the bottom flipped up so he was saying out the bottom. The Shot Spot is very convenient to have around on the weekends. This is a mobile shot dispensary for your pet. I usually see it in a parking lot in our neighborhood on the weekends. When you go there, you have to put your name on a list and let them know what you need. Sometimes you can get in and out quickly, but sometimes there is a wait, so be prepared. Keep in mind, if you have to wait, it will be outside in the parking lot. The prices are a little higher than going to the vet's office, but you are paying for the convenience, especially on the weekends. read more

I would give a lower review if I could. I have been using this vet practice for almost 2 years now, and every single time something goes wrong. I have had 2 animals be put to sleep here, and they offer very little communication on the cost and procedure. I have also have had my cat visit here a few times, and each time they tell me that something is wrong with her, but when I have gotten second opinions, they cannot find anything wrong with her. They also don't really communicate the health of your animal well, for 2 visits they never informed me the weight of my cat, or how she's doing beyond a simple "she's good". My parents have been using them as well, and they were told they needed surgery for their dog. They have no payment plan options, and they don't have any way to sign up for a loan or any financial help programs either. Very disappointed with the staff, level of care, and the whole business as a whole. I do not recommend anyone use them ever. read more

We've used both their mobile vans and their office. They are always very good with our dogs. They explain in detail the prognosis, causes and treatments. It's nice that they have off site locations throughout the city on certain weekends. I was surprised to find a handling fee from the online prescription services. I tried to take my pet to the mobile clinic today and ended up leaving. We stood in the blazing sun for 30 mins and only got half way through the line. Each person took at least 10 mins to be checked in. Once you finally get checked in, then you have to wait to be called. My pet and I were so hot and miserable I decided the $12 we would have saved was not worth it. I wish they would provide more shade for the animals and find a faster and more efficient way to check people in. read more

We took my cat in for a neuter the other day- no one contacted us prior to the appointment, so we didn't know we were actually scheduling a surgery consultation. i was immediately okay with overlooking the minor communication issues because of how well we were informed after showing up! The man we talked to took the time to clearly explain what the procedure entailed, why those things were important, and the reason for their prices. While we talked, he excused himself and brought back a dog that had been barking in the back, and held it while we talked. My partner and i LOVED that he cared about the animals they saw that much and was actively trying his best to bring them comfort. we are getting my cat neutered tomorrow and, though the price may be a little steep, i feel it's completely worth it having peace of mind and knowing that not only do the staff care about our pet, but that they take many steps to ensure his safety throughout the process. all the staff members we met with were incredibly kind to our pet, attentive, and informative. I will be updating about the actual neutering process, but so far i have absolutely no complaints! read more

I took my new dog that was 6 months old in for a spay and she came out butchered. She had an infection and large scar from the entry of where the Vet performed her surgery. I wasn't given a protective halo for her so that she wouldn't bite or lick her opening. The Tech mentioned oh she hasn't been messing with it since she's been here, no need for us to give you one. I demanded to speak to someone in charge. I was highly upset that they would treat my dog like she didn't matter. And when I first arrived they were trying to charge me all these admin fees and exam fees for her spay. I asked them why are all these fees necessary? The Vet finally came out and removed them. He knew I was upset and didn't even look my way to acknowledge my question. I will never go back to this place. read more

There was something wrong with Gracie, so I called The Shot Spot and asked if I could bring her in. They said being her now and if we went. By the time we got to The Shot Spot, Gracie was not doing good at all. The receptionist Caylee saw right away something was really wrong with Gracie, and she took her straight to see the Dr. Dr Morrow was on duty and knew right away she was dire. Dr Morrow came to me with compassion for Gracie and our family to tell us she would not survive. It was horrible but the care, tenderness and compassion the whole team gave us was beyond words. They made Gracie's trip over the Rainbow Bridge as peaceful as possible while I sobbed away. They were patient and kind while I let go of our girl and showed thier true love of animals. I would recommend The Shot Spot to ANYONE who is looking for a dedicated and caring staff. read more

My dog (small chihuahua) is already kind of nervous around strangers and they just took him in office and told me to wait in car. No opportunity to ask questions in real time. No opportunity to get information based on their exam at the time. Furious that no information was given at the time I made appointment. If they are running late, why couldn't they pick up phone and say that, and I wouldn't have to wait when I made an appointment. Why is their time so much more valuable than mine? Seems it's the customers that keep them in business, not the other way around. Very disappointed with whole experience. The Shot Spot used to be a great place to take your animals for their veterinary needs. I would have given them five stars up until the last appointment that I had for my dog at the end of May 2021! As a matter of fact I am still waiting for the veterinarian to call me and discuss the assessment and findings that were made when examining my dog, it's been over 1 month. Clearly the shot spot does not employ any sort of scientific reasoning in their ability to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic! I was not permitted to enter their facility despite wearing a mask and having had both vaccines! I was told by the tech who came to my vehicle and took my dog inside would relay my concerns to the veterinarian and When my dog was brought back to my vehicle I was told that I could expect a phone call from the veterinarian!! Such phone call has never come. As far as I am aware all that ever happened on the day of the appointment was my credit card being charged! I have no proof and or evidence that my dog was even seen by a licensed veterinarian (other than a statement that was printed and handed to me with the receipt that has no information other than the itemized line cost)! I am unsure if there was a licensed veterinarian even on the premises at the time of the appointment! I find the lack of follow up and communication reprehensible. Unfortunately now that I am still not convinced my dog does not have a health problem given she still has some of the same symptoms I was inquiring about or attempted to address on the day of her appointment I am going to be forced to take her to another veterinarian and incur additional financial burden! Without a prompt reply from The Shot Spot rectifying this situation in its entirety to my satisfaction I will be forced to find a new veterinarian that can responsibly communicate, demonstrate ability to follow the science and employ evidence based practice related to covid-19, and provide excellent care to my animal! The fundamental lack of regard for evidence-based practice related to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am afraid certainly correlates into the quality of veterinary care provided by this business. One cannot help but ask what evidence based veterinary care is being blatantly disregarded behind the doors I was forbidden to enter!? read more

I had to delete my review as I cannot reply to your comment on my review. First off, you listen to our concerns and take all the information? Did you read my review or where I stated that she had determined what was wrong BEFORE I ever said anything? Guessing not! Second, why in the world if you're so concerned about my review are you waiting a MONTH to reply? Yet the good reviews you reply to within days. It does not take a month to "gather" information. AFTER running the blood test and urinary analysis test, YOUR vet stated everything came back fine. So why if everything comes back fine and good, do they now need to keep him overnight to measure his water intake? AFTER I HAD STATED I GAVE HIM Benadryl and he was consuming more than average of water just that day? Oh, and why if the tests come back clear do we need to run radiographs, or an ultrasound? Again, as I've said, you are only out to make money. The vet never listened to my concerns until sitting there arguing with her to look at his damn paw pads as they were swollen. Her EXACT RESPONSE "I cannot prescribe him anything until we run a blood test" So why after the blood test does she tell me and again "there is nothing I can give him as it's just an annoyance pain" Pretty sure the tests were NOT necessary. Seeing as after I have run the tests and paid for services there's now nothing she could have given. When in fact there is, she COULD have given him an anti inflammatory. With that said, this place is a joke, and I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE HERE! read more

Frustrated with the Covid process. We made an appt to have stitches removed at 2 pm. They didn't tell us their lunch is from 1-2 so when we show up at 145 the phones go to voicemail. Fine. We wait. 2 pm get here and we see the lady who was sitting in her car smoking finally go in and makes us wait another 10 minutes before we have to call and say you know we are here you saw us 25 minutes ago. My life is important to keep appointments too. Danny Cox is great when you can see or talk to him. Everyone else just doesn't care or listen even when we ask questions we get interrupted and for some reason my dog came out scared as hell this time. read more
