The time is 9pm. The day has been long. The mom, brother, and boyfriend are all starving... Humanity as we know it is fading. Then from the darkness we see a sign-- Mongolian BBQ, where we can quench our thirst for sriracha covered noodles mixed with meat and fresh veggies. The service was excellent, and even though we came in 45 minutes before close they kindly offered is a table, fired up the grill and asked us how our day was. The staff were welcoming, offered refills many times and even brought us to-go boxes without being prompted. With our bellies full and our to-go boxes in hand, we exited with a friendly "Have a great night!" And went about our trailblazing way. I

Moments after walking in, I was seated and given the crash course: Step one -- load a bowl with your pick of proteins, toppings, and noodles. Step two -- build your sauce from a dizzying line‑up of choices. Step three -- hand it all over to the grill master, who turns it into sizzling art on the flat‑top in less time than it takes to check your phone. There are various bowl sizes and an All You Can Eat option-- for those prepared to test the laws of physics. My medium was just right. A bowl of white rice was also waiting for me at my booth: perfect for chasing the last of the sauce. My stir‑fry hit all the marks I wanted: the punch of garlic, the kick from jalapeños, and that satisfying, wok‑kissed finish. Value? Excellent -- especially if you've got the appetite (and stamina) for AYCE. I'm already plotting my return run at the grill.

Will definitely be back and highly recommend for anyone looking for great Asian food in Boise!

After reading the reviews, the one thing I got out of them was patience. One man, one wok. My family had owned a couple restaurants in the valley. We were always fully staffed. It's amazing that it's a one man show. If you're on a time crunch or you're really hungry, I would recommend you going somewhere else. You're waiting a hot minute for your food to be prepared. The chef/ owner was cooking when I walked in. Another patron came in after me. He told me just to grab a table. We both waited for a bit but we finally got menus and water. I ordered an egg roll and beef with broad rice noodles with a light gravy. I have been creeping out the menu for a couple days so I'm excited to eat! The egg roll (made to order) came out hot! That baby was packing heat. The exterior was fried golden and crunchy. The inside was savory with a good punch of pepper. I dipped that baby in the sweet and sour sauce. I love the sweet and savory combo. My beef with noodles looked so good! I like the veggies in it. Zucchini, broccoli and bok choy. The beef was nice and tender. The flavoring of the sauce was tasty! I would have liked more gravy, it was very dry. And unfortunately, my noodles were still very hard. They could have been cooked longer. They were hard to eat. I'm happy I got to try the place out. You can tell it's been around for a long time. Everything in the venue is dated. There were several customers there who told me they have been eating there for over 40 years, I love that kind of loyalty. The owner is up there in age so who knows how much longer this joint would be up and running. I'm just happy I got to experience it.

The guy that greets you is always so sweet and nice. But every other employee in this location is rude, and smug. They all have a mean look, they raise their voices at guests, are extremely unhelpful and are overall unpleasant to be around. They also close half of their line at about 6PM and will yell at anyone who tries to use the other side. I get pre closing but doing it three hours before you close with 15 people sitting and about another 15 in line is unacceptable. I love Mongolian, but after many attempts I've decided to not ever come to this one again. Such a shame

I love that I am in charge of how my food tastes. If it is not great, it is my fault. I almost forgot to take a picture it was so good!
