This was a rather frustrating and concerning situation. I waited over an hour for an eye…read moreappointment where people were visibly unwell and coughing. It was stressful--especially when the goal of screening individuals at check in is to minimize exposure to illness. I politely addressed the situation with the staff who indicated they were equally as frustrated. This is not a primary care office where you would expect people to arrive sick. MUSC needs to assess how they're managing the waiting area. Will be providing my feedback via the survey as well. Overall time spent with the doctor was roughly 5 minutes.
