She made excellent recommendations, right in line with what my hero, Dr. Pan has told me. I am so grateful that my issue is being taken care of. I was 19 and was a lacrosse player and those were no go options. I found Dr. Brian Boxer Wachler who's one of the world's best keratoconus experts. I was able to wear soft contacts afterwards and avoided a cornea transplant!! Fast forward - I just had Dr. Brian just do EVO ICL and now with both eyes I see 20/20. It's crazy!! Dr. Gaur and her support team are amazing,... everyone I encountered listened to my concerns and questions attentively: they explained procedures and next steps clearly, both verbally and in writing. and they make you feel like a VIP. During the initial consult, Cesar impresses with his meticulous tests and measurements providing Dr. Gaur with accurate information. The many initial tests were reassuring as was Cesar, who also gave helpful tips and tricks during the post-op as well. Sharron rescheduled my surgeries in a timely manner after I caught a cold and couldn't do my original cataract surgeries. On the day of my right eye cataract surgery, check in was made easy thanks to Astrid. Ivy installed the IV needle on the first try (my veins roll)..and asked me if I would like some calming medicine (zanax) and anti nausea med (Zofran)...yes please.....Jean the anesthesiologist was exceedingly kind and explained how she would be monitoring me throughout and keeping me safe, she was exceptional and reassuring, and I was able to respond to Dr. Gaur' questions during the cataract/implant procedure which filled me with awe....it was beautiful...like seeing asteroids and colorful nebulae...Dr. Gaur explained what she was about to do, what I would be "seeing" ...she kept me informed throught which i appreciated...it was a remarkable experience and I was glad I was awake for it. The OR nurse and the post operation nurse were great, they made sure I had juice water coffee right afterwards....I was hungry and thirsty, so I asked for all of what they offered. It helped to revive me enough so I could get dressed and be wheeled to the lobby where my ride awaited. Your ride is kept informed of your progress on an electronic board in the comfortable waiting room (with electrical outlets and usb ports nearby)...it all went seamlessly. I now actually look forward to my left eye surgery, as my right eye vision is wow...three days post surgery and things are sharper brighter clearer...I'm so happy about the results in my right eye. Thank you Dr Gaur. Some cons....during my first consult it was an hour and a half wait to see the doctor. The first scheduler didn't respond to my many emails and phone calls that went unanswered only later to find out my initial scheduler had left the job. I was left thinking this place was unprofessional, but I'm glad I followed my instincts about Dr. Gaur, whose skillz are worth it... and she is a consummate professional and top-notch surgeon... highly recommend !!

I was going to update the review but I'm glad I didn't because I'm currently here again and it's back to a horrible experience. I was scheduled for a lens polishing to try and make my vision better because it didn't have great results. However--they told me I was only scheduled as a follow up--not a procedure. Wrong. So I wait as they try squeeze me in and next person comes in and tells me they're gonna do my right eye. Wrong. Right eye was done a couple weeks ago. She looks further and get this--There's no record that I even did the procedure. Fast forward, I had yet another appointment in addition to the one in this updated review where they told me I need to do Lasik because my vision just isn't as clear as they'd like to see it, but their systems were down and they promised to call me immediately to schedule. That was over two weeks ago, I called once left a message and no one has called me back. It is amazing how my husband could've had such a great experience here and how terrible it has been and continues to be for me.
