So crisp and fresh. The tomatoes were yummy, and I liked the surprise of celery amoungst the greens. The greens were mixed and not just iceberg which elevated the salad quite a bit. I always say I judge an Italian restaurant by their sauce, and this one was ok. Very sweet. Not thick. It wanted for something. I ordered the half portion of angel hair pasta, and it was still a very generous amount. I added a meatball which tasted more like an Italian sausage in a ball with a bit of spice and a chewier consistency. I wasn't mad at it, but it wasn't the seasoned ground beef crumble I expected. All in all, the meal was good, just lacking in some of things I expected from a place everyone seemed to like about it. Find them at the farm itself (on US-136 a few miles west of Crawfordsville) or at the Crawfordsville farmers market on Pike Street every Saturday (at least through the end of October...). Their vegetables are sometimes so big it's scary ... as if the farm was built on the site of a nuclear accident! But as far as I know, they grow vegetables the old fashioned way ... with water, sunlight, fertilizer, and love (and not necessarily in that order). This place is yet another hidden gem of Montgomery County. Oh, and I like Valentino and Yusmin almost as much as I like their produce!
