She postponed our first session three times at the last minute. (No apology, they were all "emergencies", she said the universe is probably testing me). Our first session was a YouTube Naturescape, and she went through the seven singing bowls. The second session was a 30 minute YouTube guided meditation, and no singing bowls. After that 2nd session, Lauren told me that I needed to purchase a $4258 crystal that I could then return later for a refund but that I needed to purchase it to continue with the sessions. I declined, I just wanted the 4 sessions I had prepaid for. She told me that she could not finish our sessions unless I purchased that crystal. This was on Feb 20, 2025. Today it is June 5, 2025, and every week she promises me a refund next week and I still have not received it. Please see attached text message screenshots. I honestly felt really disrespected and pressured by the whole experience, and I wouldn't recommend her as a reiki practitioner. In hindsight, I feel that I was totally scammed.

She scheduled their technician Juan who came a few days later, earlier than the scheduled time, to diagnose the problem which turned out to be a blown transformer. Parts were ordered and the initial repair was made by Juan and Trevor a week or so later not knowing the heating element had also gone out. That part was ordered and Monica scheduled them to return after the Christmas holiday for the final repair. It was a pricy repair, but living in a rural area, we did not have the choice of replacing our microwave or finding the size and style that met our needs. I called Carmichael and rushed my computer over to see if they could give it CPR or put it on life support. No such luck. RIP. Everyone at this company was so helpful and tried everything they could. In the end they amazed me by letting me know that they actually were able to recover almost everything from my hard drive. This was a miracle. I was able to purchase a computer and have it shipped to me and put everything back on the new one. It's like it never happened. Carmichael saved me from disaster. Dean helped my son and I with the fitting and he could not have been nicer. Told him it was about 20 years ago since I went snowboarding and he was like don't worry you'll be fine. Lol. But really nice guy. The return process was quick and painless. I would go back to this place to rent.
