Robert, the outstanding mechanic who has worked there for twenty years, apologized for the delay. I was offered and accepted a ride to my nearby home to wait. Two and a half hours later, the work was completed. I was given a ride back to the garage. I call this excellent customer service. And that is one reason why we support an independent service provider rather than a dealer. Plus, the cost is considerably less than for work at a dealership. At Hari's, communication with customer, attention to customer needs, and expertise in servicing cars are all superior to most dealerships. I believe I am getting a fair and accurate appraisal of work that needs to be done. Whereas, at the dealership, I feel the bill is padded with extra work that is unnecessary. Plus, I am supporting an independently owned local business that resides in my community. A "WIN" all around.

Within 2 minutes driving down the road, my cabin was again filled with the same exhaust smell and the car now also had a slight vibration that wasn't there before. I dropped the car back off that night after closing. When I called Saturday morning, I was told that they did not have time to look at it that day. On Monday, I stopped on the way home from work. The owner was in the process of looking under the hood of my car. When I approached and started to discuss the issue with my car he became very aggressive in his demeanor and tone of voice. Never once did I ask for a refund on the work that was done (that didn't fix the problem I brought the car in for) nor did I accuse them making up a problem that didn't exist. I simply wanted the issue I brought the car in for to be done promptly since I was now on week 3 without a car. The owner made me feel very uncomfortable to the point I started to cry so I excused myself and left. The owner followed up a half hour later via phone call, speaking very nicely to me, sharing the great news that the parts needed to fix the original problem would run me around $50 and they had discovered the vibration was due to a loose bolt that was now tightened and fixed. We picked the car up Friday and I was informed they charged me 1/2 the labor bringing this new additional bill to $270 for a total of $3,570. Paying so much when the original issue was under $500 definitely isn't ideal. However, that is not the reason for my low review. For me, I feel they should have checked that the original problem was fixed before giving it back to me the first time. The biggest issue was how I was treated by the owner. I would not want anyone else to have to experience that I had. The other two workers were very polite and respectful.

As they welded it together they used to much heat which damaged the honeycomb inside and pieces broke off inside which caused got clogging and could have caused a fire being the gas couldn't come out the muffler. I am a single mother of two children and our safety comes first and obviously they were only thinking about the money and not our safety. I also brought my car to two different mechanics that said the same thing. Thankfully they refunded me back the money yesterday 2/3/22 to be able to pay for my car to get fixed somewhere else.

Not being from the area based in prior reviews I drove to the shop arriving before 9:00 AM and I believe that the gentleman already in the shop name was Fez - he was very helpful and ideally I agreed to purchase two used rims with tires doing cash and carry. After getting them back to my car unfortunately the rim star pattern was to large - I took the wheels back initially seeking a refund to locate rims at another location - working with after placing the calipers on the holes it was agreed the tires wouldn't work - I didn't need four rims but they happened to have four rims for my make and model and with trade if my remaining good rims and cash we agreed to a price and the rims are in my car. Being six hours from home finding a shop like NGR and the service approach to meet me at a comfortable place to purchase four versus two rims was very refreshing. If I lived here without question I would return to this shop and attempt to give them more business. Plus they list opening at 9AM - they're open easily 30 minutes before. Thank you!
