I went to Belle Tire as I knew the actuator was going out on the driver's side, which I told the attendant. I was expecting the estimate to be between $150-$300. I was called back with an estimate of $933.26. I said that seems extremely high. I was told that it would take 5.5 hours to do the repair. I told them I did not want any repair done. When I came to pick up my car, I was given an invoice of $100 for diagnosing that the actuator needed to be replaced on the driver's side...what I told them when I dropped off the car. I went to another repair place across from Lapeer EMS. They fixed the actuator in less than two hours from dropping the car off and charged me $145.12. I sent this to Belle Tire, but did not receive any follow up. After this experience, I cannot be confident that they will offer a fair estimate. I do not do business with companies I do not trust.

When I asked why the 3 other older axles have yet to fail, his excuse was that the aftermarket axle he installed was of significantly worse quality than the OEM ones I have installed on the other corners and if I wanted an OEM one I should've asked. A sorry and greedy excuse to not do the right thing, $500 for an axle that only lasted 3 months.. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

They did a great job within a reasonable time, and returned my truck washed, waxed, and detailed. It looks great! They also fixed a couple of minor issues at no extra charge! When I attempted to tip the worker who had gone the extra mile, he refused it, saying "You have to do good things for people. What goes around comes around." I admire and respect his attitude, and I won't hesitate to recommend their shop, although I hope that I have no further repair business with them. ;)

I brought it in for an engine repair, per the computer code, and they said they opened up my engine and looked but couldn't find anything wrong. I shouldn't have trusted them. They charged me $1,500 for fraudulent repairs and returned my car in the same broken state. It then took them 2 weeks to complete the engine work they just told me I didn't need. Lying fraud artists! I tried to get corporate to work with new but they don't care either. Terrible company to do business with. I will never go back. 2023 - All my check engine lights came back on 2-3 weeks after the dealership replaced a cam shaft. I was in Maine on a road trip, so it was stressful and impacted my vacation.
