I had a coupon for oil change and tire rotation $107.99. I ended up paying $135.00 and they didn't rotate my tires. The mechanic said they didn't need to be rotated at this time. I said ok. I know taxes are high but $27.00? Plus they should have reduced the price because they didn?t rotate my tires. today July 16th i opened my hood to check my fluids qnd i noticed they never put my air filter assembly back together after they checked my filter all the hardware is missing and the and the cover just sitting there off to the side. read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. Bring in an 05' Cadillac to get brakes looked at, ended up needing all 4 breaks done due to "natural wear and tear". End up getting my car back and being able to leave the following day around 6:00pm even though I was promised to have it back the day prior but they put the wrong parts on my car. $1600 later and I still had to bring the car back twice due to a violent shaking that the car didn't have before just to be told that I have a seized caliper that they apparently have nothing to do with and now want money for to fix. Would recommend going literally anywhere else unless you want to waste time and money. Had to miss work due to this and they don't even have the decency to reimburse for a tow I had to use for the vehicle since I felt unsafe driving it after the job they did. read more

I went on a Sunday with my son who's a new driver, he speed bumped is muffler lol They said they were busy, totally understandable, so I asked for an appointment the next day. Well we went at the time he told me and the guy behind the counter tells me he can't do it because his muffler guy was there till 4 so I'd have to comeback. I said why give an appointment ? He said "idk"...if for some reason the muffler guy leaves three and a half hrs before closing. The business has muffler in the name! I know I will never go back. I got my back brake pads and rotors replaced. Augie, the assistant manager was super helpful and even showed me what was wrong with my brakes. He was also helpful when I picked up the car by telling me that the new rotors might make a temporary grinding noise, but will subdue in time. It did and everything is fine. I had my wife bring my Mazda3 down for a rear brake job while I was at work. The total came out to $750. 2 rotors and a set of pads on a Mazda3. She was completely taken advantage of. I called Meineke for a quote of the same job after I found out what they charged us for the brake job. They quoted $348. Monro charged twice as much. The corporate office is refunding some of that but it's sill $200 more expensive than a comparable shop. I will never do business there again. read more

Staff was very friendly and seemed helpful. However, I had a complete rear brake job done here in July 2017. I went back 1 week after the job and then again a few weeks after the job to complain about the brakes creaking and making a lot of noise. They insisted the brakes were fine. Save your time and money, find another place. Untrustworthy, my daughter attends Post University and her brakes started making a noise. They stated that it will need rotors, brakes and calipers for a total of almost $500. How utterly ridiculous. Did you check on the calipers? For a total of$120 I was able to drive the 2.5 hours and replaced 2 rotors, a set of brakes and a caliper bracket. Shop around! The place is untrustworthy! read more

I have only come here for tires twice and I should have learned from my first experience. I called ahead to install 2 new front tires for my vehicle. I gave them the make, year, and model and they said "no problem". My appointment was for the afternoon the next day. I arrived and after one look at the car they said they had the wrong size tire. How could a place that installs tires for a living not check a book or do research if they were not 100% sure? Anyways they were friendly and called a nearby Monro to bring over the tires. That was over an hour wait while my car was still not attended to. I would have figured that customer service would at least get me a discount for this trip or the next, but nothing. The tires were also 20% more expensive than what Firestone would have sold and installed 2 tires for (they were Firestone tires and I checked the price afterwards online). The second time, it was the same deal. They did not have my tires I wanted and substituted inferior tires. One even had a defect and had to get it replaced after a couple of miles on it. After these incidents, I decided I should be checking Yelp for my next tire needs. read more

I have been there several times and the gentleman that is usually there is very nice. I went the other day and there was a new guy working and he was incredibly rude to me and the other customers there. I just walked in as I usually do (no appointment) and he asked if I had an appointment. I told him I didn't and he told me that I had to have one so I needed to come back in an hr. No big deal, I left and came back at 3:30 like he told me to. I told him I had been emailed a coupon for a $19.99 oil change with free wiper blades, 4 tire rotation, break inspection and pressure check. Before I could even finish telling him what the coupon was for he interrupted me and asked where the coupon was. I told him that I had it on my phone and he told me that I couldn't use it because I needed a printed coupon. He told me he would only do an oil change and nothing more or I could leave and come back the next day. I then explained that I was going away the next day so I needed it done then. I sat down and looked at the email again and it stated that I could either print it or show the coupon on my phone to a manager. I showed him what it said and he got very angry at me telling me that if he gave me free wiper blades without a printed coupon that he would get in trouble. I said that I didn't understand why because it says I could show the coupon in the email. Then he said FINE, I will just do it. They didn't bring my car in until 4 and after they pulled it in they stood around talking and smoking before going to do my oil change. Mind you, I had my children with me, ages 5 and 2. Needless to say they were antsy and bored. After they finished the oil change they lowered my car, changed the wiper blades and went to pull my car out. I asked if they were going to rotate my tires and check the pressure and he rolled his eyes and went in the shop to have them do it. Since leaving my car has been shaking when I drive. I am going to have to take it somewhere else to have it looked at because I do not trust them to work on my car any longer. My wife and I had been getting our oil changed here for quite some time. We decided to go to valvoline instead due to the fact of lousy customer service at this particular monroe in naugatuck. The staff at Valvoline were astonished to find a filter that hadn't been changed in god knows how long, a rotted bolt, and piece of the battery that wasn't bolted down properly. Monroe claims they do a full check of all things and they are full of crap! If they can't even do an oil change properly than I wouldn't get a darn thing done there. Not to mention they take an hr to do an oil change. We go religiously for the oil every 3 months right on the button so we are taking our business elsewhere. read more
