I went in for an oil change. While waiting I was told that there was a recall and the repair would only take about two hours. Approximately four hours later, the work was "completed" and my truck was returned to the lot. My light colored headliner and both visors were solied by the mechanics dirty hands. A check under the seat revealed my wheel lock which they used to rotate the tires was missing. I informed them and they returned me one that didn't appear to be my original. I brought my 2015 Ram there in 2015 brand new. It is eight years old and has only 30,000 miles on it. I have always kept it very clean and most people think its brand new. I have always had it serviced on a regular basis at Monroeville Dodge/Ram. The mechanics were professional and always used plastic to protect the interior. These guys working there now are questionable. I will never return! By the way, over $100.00 bucks to have my headliner and visors cleaned. read more

I recently got service for my 2018 RAM I brought the truck in on the wrong day but the service guy said I can choose to leave it and they will get to it when they can. I would have returned on the correct day, but he said I could just leave it. After a couple of days I sent my wife to check on the progress , it wasn't ready yet. the service guy said he called me later that same day, I got no call nor voicemail the service person was very rude to me and my wife, he started trouble with me about a phone call I made earlier today. I was there just to pickup my truck. I didn't say anything to him, but he felt the need to remind me about the earlier phone call. he said that I was rude and disrespectful to him. why did he need to say anything to me, I had no business with him. I never been treated like this before. the msnager ask me to leave and that he was going to call the police on me. I have bought many cars and trucks from this location. Well they just keep lying. Took the car to another mechanic who read the error code for free. The one Monroeville Dodge wants to charge you $118 for. Also many auto parts stores also read for free. My problem was negative weight sensor and you need a special SRS tool to figure out which one. Most probable cause is connector was disturbed during the airbag change. Monroeville Dodge wanted to just pop and swap sensors at $100 + each and labor at probably $80/ hour when you can just read which sensor is bad with the tool 5 minutes These guys are incompetent or unethical possibly both read more

Monroeville Dodge made dangerous and careless mistakes when repairing my vehicle. I brought my vehicle to Monroeville Dodge's service center after an accident in August 2014. They should have known that my car was totaled but they repaired it anyway. This was just the first mistake they made. The repairs were finished two weeks after the "guaranteed date," but I didn't receive an apology or compensation. Before I signed off on the repairs, I noticed the repair cost of 16K was pretty similar to the value of my car. When I asked the manager why the car wasn't totaled in the first place, he responded that it just happens sometimes and there was nothing he could do. Over the next eight months I noticed my car felt very different, which I expected after such significant repairs. Then my car broke down in April 2015, so I brought it to a different dealership for diagnostics. Here are some of the dangerous mistakes Monroeville Dodge made when repairing my car: 1) coolant pipes were not properly installed or sealed, 2) fans were zip-tied underneath my car because the mechanics didn't know where to install them, and 3) my front seat-belts were installed backwards. Dodge's repairs were so severely flawed that my car needed an additional 7K of repairs eight months after initial repairs. My insurance company decided to total the car after adjusters confirmed all of the issues were directly related to Dodge's negligent repairs. I am thoroughly disturbed that Monroeville Dodge let me drive away with a vehicle that was repaired so poorly. Thankfully this ten-month ordeal is finally over. read more

So I went into the shop for a routine inspection and oil change. I waited for 3hrs and 20mins for the entire thing to be done. At the end of it all I was told by the guy at the desk they couldn't continue my state inspection because of a slow leak in my driver side rear tire. I asked if I could see & hear the leak but they already pulled my car off the lift. then tried to sell me a new tire for $280 but I refused cause this was my first time knowing of such leak. So a week later I took my car to Mccullough tires in penn hills and they tested my tires, cleaned the inside and found NO SUCH LEAK. I immediately went back to Monroeville dodge to try to get my car looked at briefly but I had to reschedule for another appointment which will take 3 more weeks read more

My parents have bought 4 Grand caravans from Monroeville Dodge the last filled with almost every option 3 TV screens sirus sat a 3 Thousand dollar extended warranty ect ......My Father passed away last year and my 73 year old mother lost their service coupon book and they told her she would have to buy another if she wanted a replacement............. you would think customer loyalty and compassion would mean something here............... Another situation occurred when something happened to the van that fell under that expensive warranty she took to the service they stated they needed to order the part (We knew that would need to happen) they called us when the part came in and we made an appointment and dropped the van off first thing in the morning when they opened. We had to run around and would come back before closing to pick it up.They said it would take 2/3 hours tops................We arrived home to an answering machine message to call the service center. This was at 4pm 8 hours later.......They never worked on the van and lied saying they didn't have the part until I informed the gentleman we made this appointment only after we were notified our part came in........he put us on hold returning to apologize stating he didn't know why it wasn't done. !! They offered a rental my Mom had no interest in a rental she asked if she could have an oil change and tire rotation for being so inconvenienced which the tech gave her a filled out card stating a free oil change/tire rotation. I dont understand how you can be an employee of a brand and know nothing about them. They are telling you lies about vehicles that i know from being a car guy that isnt true. I recently bought a brand new 2019 Ram Bighorn Edition. After having the vehicle for approximately 3 months, the truck broke down (with 7000 miles on it). I brought the truck back to the dealership on the 18th of December. They informed me that the alternator was bad. After 7000 miles? Ok, only a slight problem, alternator is an easy fix. They gave me a rental truck. They then informed me that the power supply was also bad along with a few cables/wires. It is now the 4th of January and I still dont have my truck back. Just got off the phone with Tina and she told me that the parts will not arrive until the 11th of January. Previously I was told they would come in on the 2nd of January. So its gonna be at least 3 weeks without the truck. I am still paying for the bills for the truck but I dont have it. Called Chrysler support and they could only tell me that an agent would call me back in one business day. It is Friday so I wont hear anything until Monday. 1800 lemon law, here I come. read more

Terrible car shopping experience - avoid this dealer! Extremely high pressure sales tactics. They pressure you to take a vehicle that they have or can easily get - not what you want. Very high pressure to make a snap decision to buy immediately without other shopping around or time to think. (If you shop around or think it through, you will probably buy elsewhere.) They try to intimidate or embarrass you into making a hasty decision. Salesman was OK, but when we did not buy immediately, he handed us over to the floor manager. The floor manager was rude and obnoxious. We were polite to him, but stood our ground on what we wanted. When we would not agree to buy what he was pushing (which did not meet our requirements), he became belligerent. Monroeville Dodge does not seem to know how to treat a customer, or perhaps they know but don't care. I have experienced many different tactics and styles from car dealers over the last 30 years, but this is the worst by far. Additionally, when they supposedly tried to find us a vehicle with the options we wanted from another dealer, the vehicle they found and pushed did not have the package we wanted, although they insisted it did. We looked it up online afterward, and it did not. It seemed that they may not have been giving us the proper affiliate discount, and we don't believe that we were offered all of the correct incentives, but it was hard to tell because they make it difficult for you to carefully review the numbers by not giving you all the printouts and/or not letting you see them long enough to check their numbers. There are other, much better Dodge dealers in the area. Another dealer treated us 1000% better, and won our business. read more

Scott was my sales rep and was fantastic from beginning to end, finding me exactly what I was looking for in a truck and getting to an agreeable price very quickly. When the original truck they found for me ended up being sold before they could get it, they found me another one with a few more options, brought it in immediately, and still stuck to the agreed upon price. Will never set foot in this dealership again. Had to have my Ram towed in on a recall repair on a Saturday. Was told it would be looked at on Monday. After not hearing anything, called on Tuesday and was told they had still been too busy to look at it. By Thursday, finally got a call that they had confirmed that it was a recall repair, and as such, we were entitled to a free rental. However, we were also told that the vehicle would be done that afternoon, so we declined the rental. The truck was not done that afternoon, not that anyone from the service department bothered communicating that with us. Friday morning we were finally able to arrange a rental and told the truck would be done Saturday. No calls, no communication from service until the following Tuesday when we were finally contacted that the truck was done. Got to the dealership and the gas cap could not even be closed because things were not put back together right. The gentleman that came out to look at the issue gave a complete attitude like we were inconveniencing him. When I pointed out that there were also scuff marks on the truck that were not there when it was dropped off, his response was that he didnt know anything about it and walked away. I will never use this dealership for anything again. Do yourself a favor and take the trip to Hillview Motors in Greensburg. Much better service and communication. read more

I own a fleet of car for my business. I was in the dealership and Rick Skolak (sales)was extremely pushy with me. I didn't purchase a vehicle from him and he was very angry with me. As a result, Rick wrote a bad review for me. Also, the reason that I didn't purchase from Monroeville Dodge is because Rick smelled like alcohol and I said something to him about the odor of alcohol of his breathe. He was irate with me.I am so sorry that I visited Monroeville Dodge. Rick made up this story to make my company look bad. He is claiming that one of my vehicles ran him off the road. If this was truly the case then I would have this incident on video camera. All of my cars are equipped with state of the art cameras. I have all of the video on files. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!! This was my first time buying a Dodge and it will be my LAST!!! This place is a joke!! I just recently brought a Charger from sales woman Sharon, whom I may add is the biggest liar ever!!! The guy from financial department happen to tell us the car was previously a rental car. That was a suprise to us, since it was never mentioned to us before we started to sign any papers. Then when she handed me the key (no spare key), I noticed a piece of the bumper sticking out. I said..." Oooh what's this!?" She said, I didnt even notice that. Which she was lying because she got in the car and drove off in it while we were about to sign papers. She did noticed it! It looked like they tried to glue it, the glue was fresh! Then I noticed the passage door panel was not leveled. She told me to bring it back the following week because SHE WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT. After coming back for the third time, they finally kept my car to fix it. At this point, after driving it for a week I notice something wrong with the brakes, windshield wipers, and the car wasnt detailed it was dirty inside.The first car they gave me to drive until my car was fixed, ran out of gas in front of the dealerships doors. The guy behind the desk (not personable and never makes eye contact with you) told they guy to call some department to get gas in the car, the other guy said "not giving her that car, I'm going to put her in something else" then he said " who puts a car back in a line up on an empty tank?!?". The next day the maintenance department called me and told me they fixed everything but the bumper. I said why not the bumper? He told me he isn't sure to call Sharon. My mother called Sharon, and asked her why wasn't the bumper fixed?? She said they can't fix it because it's not covered. But she is going to wait and see what the body part guy says and she will get back to us. She never did!! We called her back on Monday and asked her about the bumper, she said no they still can't fix it. My mom asked to speak with the manager, she connected us with Rick. When Rick got on the phone, you can tell his mind was already made up, he sounded like it was such an effort to talk to us. Then basically told us, that they fixed everything else on the car and they aren't going to fix the bumper. It's going to cost $500 to fix, and that is just something they just can't do. My mom goes to tell him, Sharon told us she would fixed the bumper and the door panel. Rick says, well Sharon said she didn't say that. My mother and myself was completely shocked!!! My mother told him that Sharon is lying and that she most certainly did say she would get it fix. Rick then goes on, and says he will talk to her and see where the miscommunication had happened, but they still can't fix the bumper. He then keeps going on, how they put me in a car to use until my car is fixed and they normally don't do that. I can't believe someone put this clown in charge of anything!! My mom asked well what about a discount on getting it fixed, he said he will look into it and call us back...HE NEVER DID!!! Real professional, right!!?!? I called the customer service number and explained this all to them. They called Monroeville Dodge and they guy tells her, what they fixed and the bumper was denied to get fixed because the car was a "as is". I told her when was I told that the car was as is??!?! That was the first time of hearing this. I would have never brought that car if I would of known that!!!! They keep important facts away from us, just to get a car sold. These people are liars and scammers!! They seen two women coming and completely took advantage of us!!!! Customer service said they can't do anything about what happened. I want to start out by saying the service department is outstanding but the dealership it's self is horrible. In October of 2016 I purchased a 2016 jazz blue dodge charger sxt awd 6 cylinder from this dealership. My fiance had called to set up the appointment. When we arrived we were told it was 20% off and it had been a demo. The sales consultant Scott is a joke. He was pushing us to buy from a food truck that came by and was more concerned with that and his orange juice than he was with the sale or us. After he got his food he came back in and went to the other side of the dealership and was on a personal call with his girlfriend. After they ran my credit the came over to me to let me know the car had been involved in an accident. My credit isn't perfect so they did 87 points of damage to it meaning I would most likely not be approved elsewhere and made sure to tell me about it. They are a joke. We decided after calling other dealerships and looking for the same car and not being able to find one, to but the car. We had it for 2 weeks when the first issue happened. The clip that hold to transmission fluid hose had been broken in the accident and it had been pushed up against the drive train belt so the belt wore a hole in it and transmission fluid was blowing back on to the catalytic converter and could have caught the car on fire while we were driving. The took the car in same day service got us set up with a rental can and covered it. I had made it known to the manager of the sales floor that the stitching in the drivers seat was damaged and we wanted the first inspection free since we bought in October and it's up in February but apparently even though he said they would handle it Carlos never mentioned this to Joe in the service department. I finally got tired of waiting and went into service for my oil change and informed Joe of this and he handled it no problem. Moral of this story... do not buy at monroeville dodge take your money and time elsewhere. read more

Monroeville Dodge is a joke. If you are interested in a Dodge go anywhere else. My girlfriend and I went to look at a Dodge Dart and possibly trade in her '08 Civic. When we got there we were immediately being hounded by a salesman from the second we got out of our car. The guy brought us to the second were the Darts were and we looked at about 16 different vehicles. There were not any that fit our needs and wants in a car so we asked about ordering the exact car that we wanted and they were less than helpful. They told us that it was not worth ordering and that we should just drop our standards and buy from the stock that they had. We went back and forth with the salesman for at least an hour and he was still not willing to help us order the one we wanted. Finally we found a vehicle that just came onto the lot that we like and we talked about trading in her Civic for the Dart. They wanted $23000 for the Dart which was not completely loaded like it should be for that price. They told us that they could only give her $5000 for the Civic and that it wasn't worth anymore. KBB states that the car is worth $11500 which is a huge difference. I mentioned it to them and they said because it costs them a lot to put new brakes and tires on the vehicle. BULLSHIT! It certainly does not cost $6500 to do that. Needless to say we walked out of there without a new car. Later that night I built the exact car she wanted on the Dodge website and the total came out to $23000 with delivery, in dash GPS, the under seat storage unit, automatic transmission (which costs more), Bluetooth, and a sunroof. They were asking the same price for a vehicle that had half of that. I understand they need to make money but that place is a rip off and waste of time. I even saw an employee hold one nostril while blowing & ejecting boogers out the other nostril. Ummm, what happened to tissue & toilet paper? During the same visit, I saw an employee cracking sunflower seeds and spitting them in a cup all while talking to another employee. I can go on and on. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!! I wish I could give them negative 10 stars because they are sadly not even deserving of one. At Monroeville Dodge they tell you what you want to hear to 'seal the deal'. After hours and hours of negotiating we finally reached a deal with the sales manager on a leased vehicle: $350/month and 15,000 miles a year. My husband and I had been in the dealership for over 8 hours, and at this point it was nearly 11pm. We were exhausted, could barely keep our eyes open and wanted to go home, so I didn't look over the paperwork as carefully as I should have. Granted I should have verified the numbers before signing, that is my fault, but I have bought more vehicles than I have fingers and toes and I have never ever had the paperwork be different from what the sales manager promised. Fast forward a month to our first bill and we realize the payment is $450/month. On top of that, I look at our paperwork and notice we only have 12,000 miles/ year instead of the 15,000 that was promised. I called Monroeville Dodge right away to have them remedy this error and suddenly everyone wasn't as friendly now that they had already made a sell. The sales manager was extremely rude, condescending and said 'I don't give a shit what you were told you signed for it'. So I said "You can lie to people and tell them whatever they want to hear to make the sell and then put down whatever number you want on the paperwork?" and he hung up on me. My husband called Chrysler Headquarters and apparently we were one of many people to experience a serious issue like this. I have NEVER had such an awful experience purchasing a vehicle in my life, and I am disgusted at how they treat customers. Because of Monroeville Dodge we had to spend an extra $3,900 on this vehicle (extra $100/mo for 39mo lease) and we had to buy another vehicle to avoid going over the mileage for the lease! If anything positive could come from my experience I hope it is to prevent this from happening to another unsuspecting person. There are plenty of other reputable Chrysler dealers out there. Test Drove a 2016 Laramie in August. Iit had all of the options that I wanted (tan leather, chrome steps, Navigation, Blind Spot monitoring, etc.) with the exception of a moon roof, bed cover and the wrong color. I asked the dealer to locate the exact truck that I wanted. Dealer called and had it located. I agreed to the purchase. When I arrived at the dealership, I briefly looked over the truck and it appeared to be exactly what wanted. Went through the paper work (never thought to ask to see the window sticker) and left. The next day, I was driving the truck and trying to learn all of the uconnect system and noticed that there was no navigation and no blind spot monitoring. I contacted my salesman, Brian Conn and told him the issue. He told me to check the window sticker and would'nt you know it! No Nav and No Blind spot monitoring. Then Brian tells me I'll have to pay $600 to have the Nav installed. Dealer screwed up finance paperwork and I had to return to get it straightened out. At which time, I took the opportunity to speak with Blancy Mitchell (the general manager). Blancy basically told me the same thing as Brian and after I explained that I was never shown the window sticker until later he said he would talk to the service department to see what he could do and get back with me. Never heard anything back. This is not an acceptable way to do business especially when the vehicle is $50k plus. Bottom line, I would not recommend purchasing from here. I have a friend who went to Jim Shorkey and got a much better deal and their dealership is responsive and bends over backwards to answer/resolve any of his questions. Buyer beware! read more

I had contacted Monroeville Dodge about purchasing a 2014 Durango. The dealership did not have the have the model in stock that I wanted. They did a dealer search and located one for me. Due to the drive time of 1 hour, I was unable to make it to the dealership that evening to put down the required deposit in order for Monroeville Dodge to go an pick up the Durango from another dealer. The salesman, Chad Carpenter, said that I could give him my credit card info and fill out a credit application over the phone to cover the deposit and that they needed and would have it for me the next day. I was then contacted the next morning @ 9:30am while I was at work to let me know the vehicle was there and they wanted to finalize the deal. I explained that I was work and was unable to talk. Chad Carpenter and the sales manager Jeff Yates continued to call and pressure me throughout the day. During these calls we tried to negotiate the cost of the navigation system. Jeff offered free tanks of gas, oil changes, etc. Jeff stated that he could fill my gas tank for me, but couldn't take anything more of the cost of the navigation. Jeff stated by giving me free gas instead, that this could be hidden from his supervisors and would offset the cost of the navigation. I texted Chad when I finished work to find out what time they were open to. He replied 9pm. I then texted him back to see how long it would take to get the Durango ready for delivery. I was ignored and didn't receive any communication back for two hours. In the mean time, my wife and I decided to get leave for the dealership anyway to make sure we got there in time since we had a 90 minute drive. When we were 5 minutes away from the dealership, I received a text from Chad stating that they sold the vehicle that I had put down a deposit on. This vehicle was my supposed to be my wife's anniversary present. This is the reason car dealerships and car salesman have a bad rap. Its dealerships like Monroeville Dodge.
