My mother and I had dinner here last Wednesday, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. First, the view of the Eiffel Tower is absolutely unbeatable and makes the whole evening feel special. We sat on the terrace and when it got chilly, they brought us a blanket without us even asking, which was such a thoughtful touch. We had the escargot and burrata, followed by the filet de bœuf béarnaise, frites fraîches and the tagliatelles á la truffe. Everything was exceptional. Classic, perfectly done, and so satisfying. I would've loved dessert, but unfortunately we had after dinner plans. Next time! And lastly, the sommelier's recommendation was perfect. He guided me to a wine I might not have chosen myself, that paired beautifully with my meal. I didn't catch his name, but he made a lasting impression. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will be back soon!

Great food I went at night the ambience at that time of day was perfect. If the weather was better would have eaten outside

Despite being a popular restaurant for tourists, my friends and I had a wonderful time at Monsieur Bleu. The food was excellent (a favorite among all of us was the green bean salad) and you can't beat its location right by the Eiffel Tower. The restaurant was unsurprisingly quite full and loud while we were there on a Saturday night and everyone was having a good time.

Another one of my favorite dinners from Paris! The Paris Society does not disappoint. The restaurant is a bit hard to find -- it's located on the backend of the Palais de Tokyo, but I have to say that the vibes here were so nice and pristine. My friend and I came for a nice dinner after work, and it was such a fun time. I started off with the Kyoto cocktail, which was refreshing and not too strong. We then got the Lobster Roll to share as an appetizer and I got the Tataki Crusted Ahi Tuna as my main. The Lobster Roll was a trendy take on the classic dish, though I thought they were a little skimpy on the portion of lobster, and the toast really. carried this one The tuna dish was delicious, but my favorite part of this was the avocado salad that accompanied it. It was citrusy and very fresh. Dining here felt like a real treat, and highly recommend for an upscale evening :-).

Not gonna lie, I didn't love this place. We didn't have reservations and was glad that we got to try it. Main restaurant was big and loud for dinner. We were taken to a cramped second floor where it seemed like there were no windows. We were seated right by the stairs. The servers had to carry every single thing up and down the stairs. Not really sure if there was an elevator. The food was pretty decent, but nothing I can say was life changing. Had the foie gras with toasts for appetizer, salmon and pork belly for the main courses, and unfortunately had to skip dessert because we wanted to catch the last Eiffel Tower light show at 11 pm. All in all, a nice experience when in Paris.

We just a had corporate dinner at Monsieur Bleu, My perspective - Location/View: A+ Located right next to the Palais de Tokyo, and with a great view of the Eiffel Tower, the location and the scenic view is spectacular. Service: B+ Efficient and attentive. Appetizers: A Their tuna tartar was excellent. Main Entrée: C- I had their sea bass filet with tomatoes, basil, and eggplant. Nothing special... the sea bass was a bit bland and their mushy eggplant side missed the mark (no one on our table appreciated the consistency and taste). Additionally, this entrée was miniscule. Desserts: B Good but not excellent. Our table shared the Almond and Raspberry Pavlova, the Vanilla and Red Fruit Mille-Feuille, the Profiteroles, and the Strawberry and Rhubarb Tart. These desserts didn't measure up to the amazing desserts we've been sampling in many great Parisian locations. Portion Sizes: F Yes, I know portion sizes in France are small. And admittedly, I come from the US where portions can be enormous. But the portion sizes at Monsieur Bleu are embarrassingly small. I had to stuff my face with bread to fill my belly. My 5-year-old self would've gone hungry... So despite the incredible view and location, I'm not planning on returning anytime soon.

Although the inside was dark, and just okay aesthetically, the food at Monsieur Bleu was the BEST we had in Paris. The photos all highlight their gorgeous garden patio with views of the Eiffel Tower, but in the colder months they don't seem to use it (which was a bummer). We loved that they had a live DJ spinning tunes and the Spicy Beef was astounding; like melt in your mouth amazing. The staff was super friendly as well, and happy to help us in English, after we tried our best in French. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris to visit Monsieur Bleu-- food was exceptional, vibes were great, overall ambience inside were okay.

Came here with a family of 4, the ladies at the hostess stand were very sweet but that was the last time that someone was pleasant with us for the rest of the evening. Our waiter seemed like he couldn't care less and overall just created a very awkward experience. The escargots were tasteless, the bread and butter that came with the meal was okay, and the chicken and French fries were exactly what you think it would taste like. Most definitely not worth the large price point and most definitely would not return.

Food-Exquisite Service-Top Notch Ambiance-Beautiful With that being said I cannot give this restaurant the 5 stars it deserves because I saw mice running around the restaurant. At LEAST 3 times while we ate dinner. I dont know how normal that is in Paris but it freaked me out because the restaurant isn't empty. There a several tables here, loud talking & music playing...to see multiple mice or the same mouse several times is unacceptable. Informed the staff and the manager said "oh there's construction going on so there are a few mice running around" like it was okay. Please don't waste your money if you don't mind eating with mice at your feet.

Beautiful restaurant with (some) views of the Eiffel Tower depending on where you are seated. The restaurant is classy and gorgeous, with high ceilings and velvet curtains and chairs. Loved the vibes! The hostess at the door could care less about us though and was borderline unfriendly, but that's fine since our only interaction with her was when we entered the restaurant. The service from our actual waiter was good. We were seated in an area near a wall/fireplace that didn't have views of the Eiffel Tower so that was unfortunate. We ordered the octopus carpaccio and house made foie gras to start. We've never tried octopus carpaccio before but it was delicious! Lots of flavor and thinly sliced octopus, but not so thin that you couldn't taste it. Foie gras was good, but didn't entirely stand out. For our mains, we ordered the spicy beef and truffle tagliatelle to share. The spicy beef came with a side of tom yum sauce and coconut rice, which complimented the beef nicely, however it was not spicy. The truffle pasta was good as well but not mind-blowing. The pricing is on the higher end but none of the dishes really wow-ed me except for the octopus carpaccio. Overall, unless you can get a table with a view, I think there are other French restaurants with better food (and nicer hostesses, I hope).

Sadly, the baguette was kind of mushy and not crispy. I did not enjoy the flavor compared to the other ones I've had in the neighborhood. With the croque monsieur warmed up, it made a perfect brunch meal with the ube latte. The ube latte is exactly what you would expect but crafted carefully. I would just go back for this delightfully warm concoction in the morning. The service to go along with this made this experience more pleasant as it seems most of the employees were filipinos. They were quick to receive you and leave you beyond satisfied. The shop exudes the classic parisian aesthetic that most people would romanticize and I am glad I experienced it. I would come back for the pleasant experience - try out Merci Jérôme!

I was very worried about the lime being extremely long due to the time we came at. But when we arrived we were told it would be about a 30 minute wait. The service does a great job managing the line and trying to pull groups out of line to fit specific spots available if they can. The manager asked if there were any groups of three available and luckily we were able to get a table quicker than we thought! We were seated outside at a very small table. The tables are very close together and it is extremely hard to move around the chairs, etc. the interior is a little less tight, but nonetheless it is still a little chaotic to go about. Service was good and our food came out within about 10-15 minutes of ordering. I loved the classic Parisian atmosphere and really enjoyed being outside. We ended up ordering their famous hot chocolate and creme, the strawberries & creme, coffees, and a croissant. The prices here are a little steep considering what you are getting. But I definitely think it's an experience and the price reflects that. The hot chocolate was extremely rich and luscious--like nothing I've had before. It was almost reminiscent is drinking straight chocolate sauce. The fresh creme that accompanied it was delightful and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I tried one of my friends strawberries and thought they were extremely fresh, but not necessarily worth the price. Cappuccino was pretty standard, but I enjoyed it. The croissant probably isn't the best in the city, but it was flaky and buttery, with lots of layers (exactly how it should be). Overall, I was happy I got to experience dining at Carette! We only waited about 30 minutes for a table and I think it was worth it. While I don't think it is life changing, I do think it is definitely worth trying and a fun experience. I enjoyed the creme that it came with just as much as the drink itself, if not more. Service was good and they ran a tight ship. If I were to go to Paris again, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. But if it is your first time in the city or you haven't been, I would recommend!
