While visiting my daughter in Tempe recently I made the mistake of pushing the garage door opener button to more easily access the beer cooler in my truck. Excellent Service & Prices! HIGHLY recommend to everyone! Our garage door had been acting up for a little over a week and on a very busy Friday morning it finally broke. Stuck half way open and completely off track it pulled the rollers out of place, cables were hanging out the one side and brackets had started pulling out of the wall...called Monsoon Doors and Raul answered right away. I explained the situation, he helped me assess the damages over the phone, gave a repair quote and was available within the hour! Upon arrival it was discovered one of our springs had snapped like he thought. I was given options for repair..either replace only the damaged spring or both, opted for both. To my surprise he had all the parts on hand, quoted everything upfront and completed the repair within an hour! The job consisted of 2 new springs, putting the loose cable back in place, resetting the door, tune up on door and motor with lubrication of track, life-time parts warranty and 30 day labor warranty. I got 2 quotes from 2 other garage companies and one was over $2000 and the other one was much lower but come to find out they were going to install a much lower quality garage door than the one we already had. Our insurance claim wouldn't cover more than $1500 to replace the whole garage door because of damage. So I reached out to the company that had the lower bid and they were very slow to respond. I was looking on yelp and saw that I could request quotes through yelp. I sent it 5 requests and got 5 responses. Raul with Monsoon doors had the best price by far for an even higher quality door, and the quote he sent over was straight forward and included all of the charges not just the bait and switch I was getting from a couple other companies. Emailed Raul, set up a time and day for him to install a Chamberlain Belt drive garage door opener I bought from Lowes. He gave me his quote which beat others. Called him day before to confirm and he was there. Said I needed an extender since my garage door was 9 ft vs 8 ft high. ( Very important to ask about). What a great job! Raul was very fast to respond to my request for a quote for a broken spring. He gave me a quote, and said he could come today.... which was great since it was 2:00 on a Friday afternoon and of course we didn't want to deal with a broken garage door all weekend.
