TLDR: Helped out a fellow soldier who was tight on money for the best possible deal in the area on a new hard drive and operating system. So, I'll start this out by saying that I never thought my Hard Drive would fail after 3 years and I wish I would have backed it up. I surveyed the area; Best buy, Newegg.com (who I bought my MSI GE72 2QD Apache Pro gaming Laptop from -with a 1TB Harddrive), and the manufacturer -MSI Support, as well as several support online stores and forums. Basically I learned that my hard drive was dead, troubleshooting was no help, and I needed a new Operating System (Windows) since my hard drive was not backed up manually. Monsters Computers was the closest computer repair store -right off Yadkin road. I told Daniel and Rob ( the store owner) that I was tight on money and them being a military run operation knew my plight. They provided me w a Used (free of charge) 1 TB harddrive and an OS for just $90 after taxes (which is less than the going rate of Best Buy and online of $120+). Monster Computers did the Installation of the new Hard drive for FREE! Best Buy wanted $40+. Monster Computers also added a Military Deployment special which includes free Microsoft Office, CAC reader installation media, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Adobe Reader XI, and All your needed Army files. All in all, Monsters Computers hooked it up for one of their own in need. My Laptop was ready as new the next morning. Anywhere else, Best Buy or online I would have spent $250+ easy, but @ Monster Computers I only spent $90. I could not be happier. And they also have a killer Lizard name NAGA -Might as well just stop by to see this big guy. read more

Best possible experience with a broken computer I've ever had! The customer service at Monster Computers in fantastic to say the very least! Not only were they knowledgeable but everyone there is so kind and helpful. I walked in with a sad computer that had been splashed pretty badly with water; it wasn't charging or turning on and the screen was going nuts. They took it all apart, looked everything over and got back to me quickly and were very honest, letting me know that they could replace everything I needed but it would cost more than to just replace it. When I went to pick it up, my debit card in hand, I was told they weren't charging me. Not only the best customer service for a computer shop but the best customer service in Fayetteville. I will never go anywhere else for computer issues and I will be telling everyone I know to go to Monster Computers! I loved my experience with monster computers. I am not the most organized person and brought them a mess but all the staff was extremely helpful, patient, and accommodating no to mention very friendly. I brought them parts to build a custom computer and they had it together in no time. They had a consult with me I told them what I wanted and they did it no problem. The woman who built my computer was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me what was compatible and what wasn't especially since my computer was pretty complicated and involved alot of detail. She joked with me and said she hated my computer but not me lol.. But she put it together with a little help from the staff and it works beyond my expectations. .I will definitely be bringing my business to them from now on. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Definitely not hesitant to explain exactly what the problem is and willing to work with ya. Brought my laptop in for a diagnostic because it wouldn't charge the battery (turns out I fried my board), and Tiffany got to the bottom of it. She even made suggestions on a desktop build I was working on, and pointed out the CPU fan would be too clunky to fit and the specific ASUS motherboard in the list has too many issues. I have used Monster Computer for years. Their work and service is excellent. I went to another place in town for my Mac laptop, their prices were crazy. Monster fixed the problem and refused payment, stating the job was too small for me to pay for. The other place wanted over $100 to fix it.
