I needed somewhere for a quick and cute date, brought her here for some mini golf only to find out they also had a special where they give you access to the arcade. $30 for 2 people, 18 holes and enough coins for the both of you to play every game once. The mini golf was the most difficult for adults, but still lots of fun. The arcade had the typical games, hoop shoot, air hockey, Jurassic Park (time crisis style), and MotorCross. Not very impressed, though the visuals effects were nice, this establishment is not ran well. The mini golf was overcrowded and the stroke limit not enforced...which causes it to bottle neck. Definitely a place for kids. The arcade was enjoyable, and the ticket redemption counter guy was lenient with giving us prizes when we didn't have quite enough tickets. The course itself, aesthetically, was cool. However, the physical design, is bad. The whole course is one continuous carpet run, so when it's crowded (went on saturday, very crowded, 30+ minute wait for golf at times) you'll have impatient people hitting their balls toward you when you aren't finished with the current hole. The facility is disorganized and run by obnoxious children. There is no order and we had to wait an hour to play golf. There was a total back up on golf, due to lack of enforcement of 4 to a group, our group was stuck waiting. Tried discussing with staff over the music and was told to stop yelling. Totally underestimated this place! A lot more fun and bigger on the inside than I thought it would be. Spur of the moment and simple Saturday day night with my fiance since I had work early the next day. It's in a great location, smack dab in the middle of Miramar parkway, next to publix and a bunch of different restaurants and across the street from Starbucks, Jimmy Johns, and Tijuana Flats. So if the name of this place doesn't give it away, it has mini golf but not just regular mini golf, it's glow in the dark! It also has a bunch of arcade games, like the ones you find at Dave & Busters but unfortunately I didn't see a concession stand to buy food. The Saturday we went was packed, so if you're in a hurry I would recommend coming at least before 7pm or another day. We got there at 8pm and played 18 holes of mini golf together for $18 ($9 per person). One of the employees said it usually takes 45 minutes to finish the course but since there were so many people it probably took us an hour and a half because it got backed up. I've never played indoor or glow in the dark mini golf but it was a cool and different experience. The course was decked out in halloween-esque decorations and they also had a bunch of trivia questions written on the wall at different holes and the answer would be at another hole further down. Definitely kid friendly, fun for the family, or a cute spot for a simple date, and since I lost that game of mini golf game that night, I need to come back and have a rematch! read more

I took my 3 year old son there after leaving the Dollar Tree next door. The games were up to date, vibrant and interactive but there wasn't much my son could do there. The monster golf looked pretty cool but my son was afraid so we stayed in the game area. The popcorn was fresh and tasted. The price was a bit much given the fact that there weren't many options for him to play. It cost me $25 fir a small drink, small bag of popcorn and the games. The worker present ( I believe her name is Taeya) she was thorough about the procedure while playing during the pandemic. Trying her very best to keep everyone safe. I didn't make a reservation, but they suggest you do on their website. Despite that, she still was able to find room for us within the CDC guidelines. Such an awesome place to spend some time with my cousin! This time, we decided to only to do the Arcade games. When we first arrive, the workers were nice and welcomed us in. After receiving our game cards, we had a problem with a game. One worker was nice enough to give us the credit back. What they are missing is workers. I didn't think I'd like this place so much, but it far exceeded my expectations. My 6 year old son and I had a blast playing the glow in the dark mini-golf. They didn't slack on the glow in the dark stuff either; there were celebrities turned monsters, animated monsters and really fun, clever paintings on the wall and course. They have video games, a air hockey table and skeeball as well. The thing that put it over the edge were the employees. You'd think that there would be apathetic, pimply-faces teens working here. They are teens, but they were super friendly and helpful. One guy came over to help when it loomed like the card wouldn't slide through the video game. Then he checked my card to make sure it wasn't charged twice when I kept swiping it a few times. Then he added on another couple dollars just to be nice! Because I couldn't give this place a 3.5 star-rating, I rounded down to 3 stars. I like this place - it's a fun spot to kill 1.5-2 hrs and get out of the hot, Florida sun. It's unique because of the theme and the decor is interesting to look at. They have Florida-specific references in the artwork and fun little tidbits to read while you work your way through the holes. The price is also decent, considering it will take you a while to finish 18 holes - because even on weekdays, this place is poppin'. There's also a fun DJ and the staff are friendly. I really liked how there were so many staff members circulating through the golf area. I wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone with kids under 5, or kids who are scared easily. It's not that it's super scary, but for little ones, it can be a bit overwhelming - the darkness, the huge, moving ogre, etc. Over all, it's a good place for older kids and adults but know that it can get really crowded. read more

Ventured to Miramar on my birthday to check this place out. I called a month ahead of time to ask about avoiding schools/clubs/groups and was told to come by after 3pm. It's DARK inside (obviously) but once your eyes adjust, everything is glowy and awesome. The staff wear lab coats, because they're MAD SCIENTISTS, which makes them easy to pick out when you need assistance. They gave me a big monster shout-out for my birthday from the DJ booth and also gave me a cool plastic fedora hat (ala Michael Jackson!) to signify it was my birthday. Yay! While the course was neat, there were too many people wandering the course. My group of four was stuck behind a "first date" couple that HAD to take selfies at every hole. Behind us was a family of 5, so they were constantly on our butt waiting to move forward... we ended up asking a "mad scientist" to skip a few holes just to get out of the way. Everything ended fairly quickly, considering we skipped holes, and the 'arcade' games were lackluster (as were the 'prizes' for ticket redemption.) We had been thinking of taking our children here, for something fun to do during the summer. There was a Groupon available a few months back, but for one reason or another, we didn't purchase it. It just so happens that my children's summer camp had this slated as one of their field trips, so it was perfect...well, not really - thank God we didn't waste our money on the Groupon!!! My daughter was there today with her summer camp and she said "Alyssa" was extremely rude to ALL of the children and the camp counselors, rolling her eyes at them when they asked for anything. From reading a few other reviews, it seems like this is common practice with everyone who works there, from the cashiers to the managers. I didn't bother calling to complain, as I figured they wouldn't take it seriously, so...Yelp it is then! If you're going to work with children, or anyone in the public, you need to have patience and some type of Customer Service skills, especially if you're marketing towards families. Sounds like to me that "Alyssa" and her friends need to get a new job. Sorry, but I'm not the type of person to keep sticking their hand in the fire to see if I'll keep getting burned. One experience is enough to blacklist this place. Very sad too, as there are not a lot of family-friendly establishments to go have fun at in West Pines/Miramar. read more

I took my niece and two nephews to Monster Mini Golf and it didn't disappoint. The course is glow in the dark and has a good flow to it. They're not too easy but not too tough either, so it's good for all ages. While you're golfing, they have a DJ playing fun music for the kids to dance along to and they also ask trivia questions for prizes. The kids had a blast. The only reason I dropped a star is because the arcade part leaves much to be desired. I bought $20 game cards for each one and it took forever for them to use it up. It would be nice if they had a bigger selection, but I'm assuming since they're tight on space, they may be at capacity. Poor quality manager on staff tonight named Vince, rude female cashiers tonight..... Everything else is great!!! We have been coming to this place since it opened, 2-3 times a month with the kids !!! We love the arcade games, the music, the affordable prices , and the glow in the dark golfing. All the employees have always been so helpful and fun! Tonight we had a miscommunication as the manager Vince "called it". To sum up a long story there were two parties going on, a group of us of 10 people were waiting for two other members to play. When our other two member arrived they told the cashiers they were with us! So they told us we had to wait another 15-20 min, we waited 30 min and began playing. The cashiers rudely flagged another employee to take the late comers to the middle of the course and leave us behind. So, I asked why and an argument escalated for no reason at all. The cashiers rolled their eyes , yelled, and basically told us we couldn't be together. The nerve. The so called manager Vince, came to the counter and appeared to agree with us. Well I was wrong. I was upset I had missed 15 minutes of my family game when he came up to me to TELL me how it was a miscommunication and defended his employees. He argued with me while I'm still missing the game. (Looking around the party that was suppose to play, isn't playing and the course is still occupied with other people). It was frustrating and embarrassing, I had to end the argument and tell him to just let it go. He didn't apologize and he didn't offer a solution. It doesn't end here. He then "watched our group like a guard dog and made us feel comfortable throughout the evening. It's sad how one poor manager and two rude cashiers can ruin a night of fun. Btw, we spent $60 in just arcade and another $40 in mini golf tickets. Last I heard Felix was the owner. If he still is please review your cameras and see how this escalated and how your unprofessional manager disrupted our party. How your cashiers laughed in my face in front of my family. Please look at all the times we purchased arcade game cards. I would have given less stars for this experience but I feel that due to these poor apples it's not worth it. We love the place. Mini golf is almost always a good idea for a kid's activity, or strangely enough, a good idea for a playful first date. First off, as the name would suggest, this neat spot is monster/horror themed, albeit in a playful and funny, not scary way. Everything here is for the most part illuminated by black lights, so be sure to dress in fluorescent or day glo colors when you come through. If you can find the Groupon for this attraction, I recommend doing so because hey, save a buck if you can! We're all about Awesome on a Budget, and you should be, too! We spent $28 on a Groupon which got us four rounds of golf and a $20 Arcade Game Card. It would have still been a deal at a higher price. Be prepared to have your senses assaulted. This is a very cool place, but the blacklight glow and music can get to you after a while if you're an old man like me. Most people under the age of 100 probably won't mind. It was an hour wait to play our round so we put our $20 to good use. There are two Air Hockey tables so what else do you need? Like most such places, you can play Skee-Ball and other games to earn tickets which can be redeemed for prizes. If that doesn't work, there are other video games like Batman and Terminator, etc... The course itself is not particularly challenging, but it is entertaining with Monster Trivia and ghoulish portraits of celebrities on the walls and Halloweenish touches here and there. The staff was friendly and can be identified by their Mad Scientist lab coats. No food and beverage options are available so come before or after mealtime.
