I couldn't believe this ride had over an 1hr wait today. We still chose to wait. This ride is very slow but it's really cute. Especially if you love Monsters Inc. The ride reenacts scenes from the movie. I think my favorite part is going through the sushi restaurant and the doors. It would be so cool if it would pick up speed when going through the doors. On a positive note, I hear there's a ride like that in the works. If your kiddos or you love Monsters Inc, check this ride out.

The wait time for this ride is hit or miss. You just have to check the app for the short wait times. We waited about 15 mins, not too bad. This ride is for all ages. You ride a taxi cab around Monstropolis to see what Mike and Sully got into. This was a cute ride. I heard that this ride will be closing for good. Not sure when, but it will be soon. If you like the ride and want to ride it one last time, you will have to do it very soon.

Monsters, Inc. is one of those rides that doesn't try to be flashy and that's part of its charm. It's a steady-moving dark ride through Monstropolis featuring Mike, Sulley, and Boo, and it sticks closely to the movie's storyline. The queue is usually manageable, which makes it a great "let's hop on this" option. While it doesn't have the high-tech wow factor of newer rides, it's dependable, cute, and great for all ages.

Moster's Ink was reminiscent of the movie and the perfect ride for kids of all ages. Before boarding, we were advised that the ride would be closing and replaced with an Avatar attraction. The actual wait time for this ride was like 3 minutes!

Disney will be closing this fan-favorite ride in early 2026 to make way for an Avatar-themed land. I love this ride because I loved the original movie! So original, funny and sweet. Although I adore Boo, Sulley & Mike...my favorite character on this ride was always ROZ at the very end...she used to lightly harass riders as to what they were wearing or for taking pictures of her. Sassy. Rest in peace Monsters Inc. I will miss you tremendously.

This was a pretty fun ride and my kids loved it. It pretty much goes through what the movie shows and takes you through monsters land. The line was pretty long though. I think everyone is trying to get on this ride before it closes this year. The ride seems like its out dated but it can use a revamp. Glad I tried it but I don't think I'll wait over an hour again to go on it. Its a one and done for me.

My family and I always look forward to riding Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! The ride is located on the Disney's California Adventure side in Hollywood Land. It is a slow moving ride in a yellow taxi cab that takes you along Mike and Sulley's adventure of returning Boo to her door. You jump right in your cab just in time to hear that a human kid is on the loose in Monstropolis! I like seeing all of the animatronics and little details throughout the ride. It is a ride for all ages, but definitely caters more to the younger guest as there is no height requirement. The wait time can be busy, but they offer a fast pass on the Disneyland app! Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! will be closing permanently in early 2026 to make room for a new Avatar area. While I am I bit sad to see Mike, Sulley and Boo go, I am really excited for a new land and ride! Check it out before it is gone forever!

Maybe I'm the minority here and I low key am glad this ride is being replaced. But I think this area of the park is underutilized. I just hope it'll be improved. Although it's no longer around as they're prepping to replace it. It was cute and glad I was able to ride it before it went away. L O C A T I O N Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue is located to the left side of Disney's California Adventures. There's this small turn out to the left after you head toward Hyperion Theater. It's kind of hidden. L I N E S The lines can be horrible to walk on. So keep an eye out on the app for wait times. I wouldn't wait longer than 15 minutes for this ride. They do have a buddy pass for this ride. So take advantage. E X P E R I E N C E it's a track ride a la dark suite. You're basically going through the Monster's Inc. movie. So if you love the movie. This is a ride you're going to love. It's cute. O V E R A L L Again, it's one of those rides where if lines are short and it's hot, a good place to cool down. It's not a ride that makes you nauseated which is always a plus. But it is going to be replaced so I do hope whatever ends up in this area is better.

So sad this ride is leaving, but it makes sense, my son is now almost 15 and he went on this ride lots as a young child. We rode it again this time around maybe for the last time as rumor around the park is it is closing relevatively shortly. I believe avatar is suppose to take its place. You wouldnt know it, because this ride is super popular with wait times exceeding 2 hours at times. We did lightning pass early in the day and it was reserved all the way until 630pm at night. Located at California Adventures and hidden. This ride is perfect for kids, those who are not ride inclined or get dizzy with spinning rides, it is very gentle and depicts the 1st movie clearly. The ride is 2 seaters.

Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue ride is such a cute ride for all ages. It is located in the Hollywood Backlot of DCA. There are restrooms near by and there's bar with seasonal offerings, there's also a rotating food truck near by and a small outdoor theater for those who want to sit this ride out and want shade. The que seems to go between fast and slow. Overall it depends on so many varying factors. There's some shade in the cue and it has an overflow que that is outdoors. The inside que is themed. The ride is a dark ride but not scary dark. The ride is not a fast rollercoaster. You can take babies on this ride. The ride is themed after the movie and takes you through all the main scenes from the movies. On my trip in September I was told they were going to get rid of this ride so if you are a fan you better get there and enjoy it before they get rid of it.

    Leilani M.

A cute ride to bring out a smile. The movie is captured well with fun twists and turns and every major part of the adventure displayed. Located close to the main entrance, right across the interactive stage area with bench seating. Wait times can be a little long but if you get it just right lines are much shorter. And you can ride it a few times. Staff are so friendly and helpful.

Such a fun ride for all ages. The set dressing and how everything is set up is amazing from the interior que all throughout the ride itself. I guess this would be considered a "dark ride" of sorts and is pretty much constantly moving. The line can get pretty long (upwards of 45 minutes plus). My kids are 23 and 19 and this is still one of our favorites! Boo, Kitty, Mike, and the gang very well represented. You feel like you are emersed in Monstropolis! Watch out for Roz at the end, she does not want to see paperwork this time!

The Baseline: For a theme park attraction, a quality experiences must be provided, the attraction must be fun and engaging, an immersive environment must be established, the queue line must be themed, and safety must be a top priority. Attraction: The ride for Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue is a fun dark ride that takes you through an abbreviated sequence of the Monsters, Inc. movie. It is a fun romp through the Monsters, Inc. world and immerses you into the movie. It is also a fun ride for smaller kids which is needed at Disney California Adventure. Queue: There are lots of fun monster-themed props throughout the queue so if you were waiting you can look and take pictures to make it more fun. Special Note: This attraction will be closing Fall 2025 so I wanted to give this ride a 5-out-of-5 for posterity. We will miss Mike and Sulley in California and hope they enjoy Florida at Hollywood Studios in their near future.

I did not know what I was getting myself into! For those who don't know, Knott's Ghost Town comes to life during the Summer and transforms into an almost 8-hour immersive experience. Characters come to life and act out a story which changes each day depending on the audience. As I entered, a townsperson introduced themselves and let me know that I can become a "town citizen" at Town Hall - and thus began my journey of the day! After being inducted, I traveled to the schoolhouse and was tasked to bring a letter to the "Calico Gazette". And then ran into some outlaws who invited me to join their team of bandits on a quest involving cattle wrangling and stealing blueprints. The day continued on meeting numerous different townsfolk and learning their stories, with them encouraging me to interact and go on adventures. -1 star because I stepped away to go on a ride which was over an hour wait. There were several other rides which had 2+ hour waits. I highly suggest setting aside a day devoted to Ghost Town for any and all ages and abilities!

The cast members are incredibly kind, the attention to detail is unmatched, and there's just a feeling here that you can't really find anywhere else. Whether you're there for the rides, the food, or just soaking in the atmosphere, it's easy to understand why so many people love this place. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the price. Between tickets, parking, food, Lightning Lanes, and everything else, it's become unbelievably expensive. I understand theme parks aren't cheap to operate, but it's hard to justify just how unaffordable a single day has become for so many families. That said, the magic is still there. I'll probably keep coming back because there truly isn't another place quite like Disneyland, I just wish experiencing that magic didn't come with such a hefty price tag. I happened to go on the perfect day and was able to ride everything without a lightning lane pass! Disneyland really is such a money grab, that's what annoys me about this place. While it may not be somewhere we'd go or come.. for a vacation, it's definitely worth visiting for a day. The only negative experience we had involved an employee named Stephanie who was working the family raft slide. She came across as though she genuinely didn't want to be there. It didn't ruin our visit by any means, but when you're in a family-focused environment, a friendly attitude goes a long way. Also, during one of our turns on the family slide, the wait was noticeably longer than it should have been compared to all of our previous rides, which slowed things down a bit. Definitely a bit miss managed as it seems as 1-2 employees max were bouncing back and forward to push the rafts down. Something that popped into mind free of charge lol. One suggestion for the marketing team: consider giving away complimentary waterproof phone pouches. They cost only a few dollars at retail store ( Walmart ) so I'd imagine they could be purchased in bulk at a much lower cost. Guests would use them throughout the park, and many would likely take pictures and post all over there social media as I saw almost every partner with one,I know I did and will posting family pic and already have all the family said they'd want to come..giving Great Wolf Lodge free advertising and great brand exposure every time they're used elsewhere. It seems like a small investment that could create a lasting impression. Overall, a solid 4-star experience. We'd come back again.

This was a good value compared to regular prices. Enjoyed the go carts twice; attendants were very patient with customers and trouble makers. Cart track is super fun, carts ran well, fun competition! Bumper boats were closed; perhaps weather isn't warm enough yet or demand was low. Two fountain sodas at the snack bar were $13. Pretty outrageous. Tried to use the batting cages. Our unlimited pass didn't seem to apply however, which was disappointing, as our key cards were unable to activate the cages in two different lanes. We moved on to mini golf. Well lit and good music is the best I can say. Overall I can tell the courses have been improving from a maintenance standpoint but the greens are TERRIBLE. If you have to putt over broken turf or your ball gets stuck in a pit of death that used to be part of the brick border, it disrupts the fun and becomes frustrating. Seriously, Boomers. Put some of that ridiculous soda pop revenue into fixing your miserable astroturf. There were tears and holes everywhere. The arcade gets periodically updated but we didn't use it this time due to time constraints. Always had fun on the multitude of games available. Same with laser tag, we just ran out of time. Was not crazy about the process for golf putters and bats for the batting cages. There only seemed to be one person in charge of handing these out from the desk and they were stuck handling a long ticket line so we pretty much helped ourselves by reaching over the counter and grabbing what we needed.
