I ordered the peach matcha for my visit. I really liked the drink I got because the matcha flavor is very prominent and then there's a light hint of peach, which works well because the flavors aren't fighting each other for attention. The peach flavor gets stronger if you sip the foam rather than mix with a straw and then sip. I like the variety of matcha drinks they have so I do need to go slowly through their list. Momoka also has baked goods and sandwiches to order as well. I did skip this for this visit because I wasn't too hungry. If you're in the mood for sandwiches though they have egg sando and also fruit sando. The portions are pretty big, larger than both my hands put together for sure. The shop can get a bit loud since it's pretty small but it also gives an intimate feeling. I wouldn't gossip in here because the sound can echo and everyone will hear, but it's great to meet up to grab a drink before heading on with your day or to take a break.

Service was very friendly. Came here bc I saw a reel on instagram. I was shocked by the $12 price for their sandwiches especially the strawberry/cream one. I make my own Japanese 7-11 style egg sandos on my own with real milk bread for a fraction of the $12 cost so could not make myself buy the egg sandwich here but I did get the strawberry/whipped cream sandwich. The bread seemed like it was regular bread. Nothing special. The sandwich itself was good though but definitely not worth another $12. I also tried the banana matcha which was totally different but really tasty. It was around $7.50 I think with oat milk. The matcha itself was not made to order but it was still good. I would definitely order that again if I were closer.

Look out for their restock times if you want to try a sando. They sell out quick! The egg sando was creamy and had a hint of sweetness. The strawberry sando is light and refreshing. To drink, I ordered the Cherry Blossom Matcha. The matcha wasn't the best I've ever had but still good. I enjoyed the cherry blossom cream. It was unique.

I ended up ordering the Cherry Blossom Matcha, and it did not disappoint! Usually, I'm a little wary of cherry flavored things, so this was definitely a gamble on my behalf lol. Luckily, it ended up being really good! I really enjoyed the sweetness of the cherry flavor mixed with the matcha, such a good combo! I would definitely order it again. The space was small on the inside, but still very cute! It's definitely possible to come with a group of friends, although it might get a little packed and seating may be limited depending on how busy it is. I also really enjoyed that the majority of the menu was solely matcha, since you don't find that very often. Definitely a very cool local find :)

I've been here twice now. The first time I came around 7:30 am and there was one other person in line ahead of me. The interior is very simple and there are a few seats inside. I ordered the mango matcha ($7.50) and an egg sando ($12.00). I could taste the mango flavor and the matcha wasn't overpowering. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I was afraid the egg sando's texture would be off-putting after a while, but it wasn't. The second time I came around 7:20 am and there was nobody inside. I ordered the peach matcha and the banana sando which had chocolate cream inside. That one was pretty good too, but the pieces of banana were a tad too large and everything came squishing out. That one was super filling and I could only eat half of it and had to save the other half for later. I end up spending over $20 here, but I enjoyed the drinks and sandos. If there was no line, I wouldn't hesitate stopping in when in the area again.

I came here with high hopes but ended up a bit disappointed. For starters, all their good drinks are iced only, they don't have a steamer. Which can be good for this heat wave we have going on; but not so much if you are wanting to enjoy your drink inside because it is super cold in there. Their AC definitely works. So I ended up with their drip because that was the only drink that could be hot. It was pretty good and smooth. I was there to work so it got me through the working session but I didn't finish it. I also had their pastries. I thought it was sponged cake with fruit and whipped cream but the cake tasted more like white Texas bread. It was hard. Or maybe it was old? Anyways, it wasn't pleasant to eat and I don't recommend it. I also got the one with the boiled eggs and it was the same issue. It was almost 30 bucks for what should have been a meal, but again we couldn't finish it. Their internet is strong and their sitting its comfortable. The staff were super friendly. Unfortunately, I will not be back.

What we ordered: - Maple Cinnamon Oat Cold Brew - Popcorn Matcha w/ Oat Milk - Egg Sando My husband and I both really loved our drinks and the egg sandwich! I love trying out new cafes and this is one of the places I'd love to come back to try more of their drinks and sandwiches. It was our first time here (we actually drove all the way from LA to Ontario just to try this new trendy cafe spot that I came across on an IG reel) lol it was totally worth the drive because we finished our drinks and the sandwich so quickly on the drive back home! Gorgeous cafe with great drinks and service to match! There is lively seating with a few study options and lots of natural light. There is also plenty of parking (friday afternoon), and I am very surprised this place isn't packed out! Their matcha is very flavorful, and I like how their flavored matchas are not overpowering with syrups or the like. The banana matcha particularly was the perfect banana taste with no lack of matcha flavor. Their lattes are also quite good!

Wanted to try out a new local coffee shop and was not disappointed. Got there a little after 12pm and it was quite packed inside. It's fairly small with limited seating but it's very cute and simple inside. Got the maple cinnamon oat cold brew and the mango matcha. The cold brew was delicious and the flavors were well balanced! Sometimes cinnamon can overpower the coffee but they made it to perfection (in my opinion). Also tried the banana pecan coffee cake and wow, such a good combo. Will definitely have to come back and try the Sandos. They have restock times and it was not available while I was there.

I got an almond milk matcha as is. Very nice, very clean. I want it again. They are busy, I did go on a Sunday FYI so not sure how weekdays may be. Cute atmosphere and they get you out pretty quickly in my opinion. They also have cram tops, my cousin got the cherry blossom which I tasted. Very good! If busy, parking can be a little tight but overall better than most other parking lots.

Finally GOOD matcha in the IE. The place is very small, the decor is minimal yet aesthetic. Not too many seating but this place is a definitely a grab and go. The matcha is soo good, on the more nutty and sweeter side. The flavors are so unique, so i'm definitely coming back to try the rest. I got the popcorn matcha thinking it was corn milk ( my favorite ) but it's more like a toffee. still very good. They have grab and go sandwiches that usually sell out

When we arrived all the sandos were gone but more to restock in 20 minutes. This led to some confusion as people began to form a line for the sandos and also a line for the matcha but there was no clear directions on how to organize. The matcha was good, not the best I've ever tasted but I appreciated the unique flavors. Drinks were smooth without bitter taste and matcha was hand whisked. Sandos were delicious. My only complaint is I wish they cut the crust off. Biting into a large sando with crust tends to get messy. Flavors were good and traditional to Japanese sandos.

Coconut cloud matcha and mango matcha
    Katy H.

When I came here they had just really opened so I do think I need to give it one more chance but the line was a little long and it did take us a little bit for our order but it was to be expected as they were newer and receiving a high volume of customers. The matchas themselves I didn't think were anything to rave about. I'm not sure the coconut water they used for the matcha cloud but I was not a fan. My friend's mango matcha was also okay, the mango cream topping was probably the best part of it. The matcha itself tasted a little watered down and was not much matcha flavor. The sandwich itself also was nothing to rave about, it was a bit bland. The parking itself is in a parking area but it is a bit busy so just be mindful you may not get a close spot but regardless there's enough parking. Overall I wouldn't mind trying the place again and possibly giving it another chance but personally my friend and I though there's better matcha spots unfortunately

Small like sandwich place, but with Japanese style.

The texture, the bright lemon flavor, not overly sweet, and full of fresh flavor. Everything was perfectly balanced and on point. Pineapple Drop - 8.75/10 I was expecting the cookie to be a bit drier, but that was just my initial assumption. The pineapple flavor came through nicely and wasn't overly sticky or "tacky." Palmiers - 10/10 Baked to perfection. Flaky, soft, with the perfect amount of crunch. The flavor was beautifully balanced and those sugar crystals were delicious. Felt like I was sitting in a South American bakery. Turkey & Cheese Croissant - 7.92/10 The croissant itself was perfect, the turkey was good, and the cheese was just okay. In fairness, we only ordered this because they were out of the ham & cheese croissants (which we love). If I had never tried the ham & cheese version, this one would probably land in the high 8s or low 9s. Unfortunately, the turkey & cheese just didn't stand a chance against the original. Monkey Bread 10/10 Holy cow! The monkey bread can be described as addictive... the monkey bread is baked with pecans on the bottom, cherries mixed in, cinnamon and a soft dough drizzled with frosting. The monkey bread was so fresh, soft, and full of flavor. The pecans and cherries were perfectly balanced in the monkey bread creating a delicious snack. One last note: We went back up to order more palmiers and the wonderful lady working the counter (Maria) gave us a complimentary one and a monkey bread. Super kind and thoughtful; she actually helped guide us to the carlota as I was wanting a lemon bar or tart and they were out of them. She suggested the carlota and described the taste and she was perfect in Her recommendations. Maria deserves employee of the month!

I…read morehave a slight prejudice to boba places outside of the SGV area so take what I have to say with a grain of salt and that this is my personal taste. Chat Tea from the pictures and self serve system made it feel like it was a boba place from SGV. The kiosk to order has both English and Chinese and the drinks and food all look familiar. I was thinking how nice this place was. A little rough around the edges here and there, but it's spacious with many tables, seating, and a little bar area. It has decent air conditioning (AC is a must with the weather quickly heating up), and feels clean enough. The vibes overall are alright but I think a little more can be done to the interior to make it feel more cozy, modern, or esthetically pleasing. The servers are very friendly and nice. One girl had a lot of energy, very positive, had the attitude of trying her best to answer any questions, and making your experience nice. Basically a 10/10 for customer service within reason and normalcy. Other workers were alright. I don't really focus too much on customer service for boba joints. The prices are within the standard price range. Nothing seemed off in pricing when scrolling through the menu. For people new to boba tea places, I think it's fair to say that they're now around the same price as going to Starbucks, though some places still have lower prices. The drink was alright. They had 3 tea options (black, green, and oolong iirc) and a good selection of flavors and toppings but it felt a little lackluster. It wasn't bad but it didn't have a distinct flavor or trait that makes it special. Kinda like instead of generic soda, it was generic boba tea drink at the super market kind of feel. The issue could be the drink i chose (grapefruit GT less sugar) but I'm usually used to a stronger and more distinct fruit flavor with this order. The fried tofu was fried pretty well. It's a very thin breading type of deep fry but was very crispy. But it wasn't the standard fried tofu snack I expected. Usually places either have a flavorful breaded fried tofu or they use dry seasoning(generally something a little spicy) after frying. Instead this was basically tofu + a soy sauce based shopping sauce from what I tasted. I was expecting more of a sweet and sour or spicy sauce. Overall felt kinda bland and the sauce was forgettable. I want to again say that the drink and tofu are not necessarily bad, but they weren't in my realm of expectation or my taste. If I still worked in the area, I would maybe give this place another 2 to 3 tries to see if it would be a study/work spot. If you like the drinks, this would definitely be a nice place to work or study at.
