I love their cold brew here. It has depth and doesn't have a generic profile. The service here is good too. The staff here are very attentive and helpful. As for the ambiance of the place, it's like a mini gallery with minimalist decor and huge signature art pieces. It's a good place to get coffee and work. Don't let the small entrance deceive you. It's very spacious. The pricing here is very reasonable. It's also easy to find parking out. It's everything you want from a coffee shop. I felt awake after sipping. It's TASTY, fresh coffee! (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring Card or Contactless Payment.) I arrived at Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) on Thursday (around 9:17AM). Parking is easy. The lot is spacious and big. However, this business has awful visibility; it's very easy for new guests to overlook it. But like a strongly guarded secret, this business is POPULAR. Staff is efficient and amicable. Staff is polite and knowledgeable, but Staff is also curt and very focused on crafting their coffee. My coffee took four minutes and 26 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Madagascar Vanilla Caffe Latte ($7 - Large - Iced). When thoroughly stirred, the coffee's true flavor blossoms. The potency becomes balanced, and the taste of vanilla & roasted coffee lithely intertwine. The aftertaste is reminiscent of a smoky caramel. There's utility and personality in this freshly brewed coffee. It's easy to understand why this spot is so popular. On ambiance, Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) is a study/work paradise. Unlike the tiny outside, the interior is unexpectedly spacious. There's about six electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details are in small text on the counter's menu. The location also has about four tables, one long wooden table, and five mini portable tables. In addition, Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) is clean, well-maintained, and well-ventilated. There's a gender neutral restroom in the back, and the music is chill & calm. The location is filled with working college students whispering about Harvard and preparing for the future. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar). The coffee is affordable, good quality, and functional. The location is comfortable and calm. Came in on a Thursday at 1pm. Most of the seating was taken and seems like thjs place is laptop friendly. The ambiance is more on the trendy side, with wooden but tasteful seating, art hanging on the walls and a unique chair in the corner for what seems to be a photo-op. I ordered the iced cream top hojicha latte and my drink was ready in less than 3 minutes. It was so fast, I'm not even sure if they make the mix hojicha powder on the spot or if it's pre-made. On a cold, rainy day, I needed a caffeine fix near Mt. Sac and found Grid Coffee thanks to Yelp. The photos and menu sold me instantly! From the parking lot, I thought it was just a small spot with an order window, but inside it's surprisingly spacious with clean lines and a minimal, Japanese-inspired aesthetic; super inviting. I ordered my go-to hot vanilla latte and couldn't resist grabbing a brownie, too. The latte was excellent, not all lattes are created equal, and this one had strong, smoky espresso flavor without being overly sweet. It absolutely hit the spot. The brownie came as a neatly cut rectangle of chocolatey goodness, pleasing to both the eyes and the taste buds. The calm, welcoming vibe of the shop was made even better by the lo-fi soundtrack playing in the background, such a nice touch that really set the mood. This review is LONG OVERDUE! :) I've been coming here since December 2021 & it's hands down my favorite coffee shop in Diamond Bar. I'm a matcha person so I've only ever gotten their matcha, and if not just their strawberry hibiscus (no longer served), herbal tea, and strawberry milk. I love their selection of matcha: strawberry with chunks. One of the best I've had! Their blueberry matcha is pretty delicious also. The customer service is great. Everyone is kind and efficient. I'd say the baristas kind of keep to themselves though and aren't overly enthusiastic. But overall, still welcoming & nice! The atmosphere is simple with wood seating areas. I like it. However sitting for a long duration can be a little uncomfortable since there's not much back support, but luckily they have a basket with padded pillows to sit on. Recently they added tables along the corner nook area which is great! Aside from that they have little tray-like table tops to set your drinks on or laptops/books/etc; while working. There's also plenty of outlets which is a plus. Not to mention they always seem to have a good playlist goin' :) Oh! & they have outside seating as well underneath shaded umbrellas. My only complaint is it gets really hot in there during the hotter months. Especially since they're facing south and catch all the direct light early on in the day. Don't get me wrong, I love the natural lighting! It's just more prone to getting hotter & I'm not sure if they have A/C. I'm sure they probably do but it's never been exactly cold in there like most coffee shops, mainly room temperature. All in all Grid is a great spot! I highly recommend :) read more

My absolute favorite local cafe, and even more that, one of the best blueberry matcha lattes, with oat milk, I've ever had in the world. I'm always searching for something comparable but I've never found anything in the ballpark of this taste. They used to have chia seeds in their blueberry syrup too which I loved but it seems to be removed now based on my last three visits. There are still whole blueberries at the bottom. My mom's favorite is the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk. Anytime I'm in town, I will make it a point to come here and was recommended this spot and have been recommending it to others myself as well. Although I personally haven't gotten the coffee here, I've heard only good things. There was always people here anytime I visit, a testament to it actually being good. I decided to get the berry and matcha scone along with a Mocha Caffe Latte. I enjoyed the scone which was moist and flavorful, and the mocha caffe latte was refreshing on a warm day. The chocolate did have an artificial taste to it though which I wasn't a huge fan of. Service was standard. Inside seating is available in a stadium type of setting, as well as on the floor which was interesting as I have never seen a coffee shop with that type of seating. Came here on an early Sunday morning, since it was the only place open with coffee. I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Lots of great drink options and appears to be quality ingredients. From the outside, the place looks a bit small, but it's actually very roomy inside. Service was just about average, definitely had a small wait for the coffee but it seemed like they were just being careful so mileage may vary. The seating though in my opinion was pretty subpar. Seating was either sit in the floor with a cushion or sit along the wall on these large steps basically. Not too comfortable. They did have normal seating with a normal table but space was all taken up due to how little room there is. I would say come here for the coffee or drinks but not stay. I've been coming to grid coffee ever since it opened and since my office is nearby. Typically if you get a plain latte, you're gonna get a decent cup of coffee. My issue with this location as of the last year is that their flavored drinks are way too sweet. I tried the cherry mocha a couple months ago, and it blew out my palette. Just yesterday, I decided to take a gamble and try their pistachio coffee. It was awful, it literally tasted like melted ice cream that was way too sweet. My biggest regret is not having tried it before I left the place. Nine dollars including tip down the drain because I threw it away as soon as I got home. The biggest problem with this particular location is their failure to balance their drinks. I prefer the Santa Ana location by a mile. read more

I think this is the best coffee shop in the Diamond Bar area, no question. This place is tucked away in a very slim entrance in an unimpressive old plaza off grand and db blvd. However, this place is very nice and clean inside. They have a nice extensive menu of coffee and some seasonal stuff. There's just so much stuff I want to try. Their lattes are great option and would get their matcha lattes here and there. In terms of seating, I wouldn't say a great studying spot just because there's only one table.
