I love their cold brew here. It has depth and doesn't have a generic profile. The service here is good too. The staff here are very attentive and helpful. As for the ambiance of the place, it's like a mini gallery with minimalist decor and huge signature art pieces. It's a good place to get coffee and work. Don't let the small entrance deceive you. It's very spacious. The pricing here is very reasonable. It's also easy to find parking out. It's everything you want from a coffee shop. Very Disappointed I used to really like this place. I loved the industrial-style atmosphere, and it always felt like a cool spot to sit down, relax, and enjoy a freshly made specialty coffee. That's why I was honestly shocked by what I saw during my last visit. I came in one morning with a friend, and I watched the employee take pre-mixed coffee that had already been prepared and simply pour it into a cup with milk. There was no fresh grinding, no espresso being pulled, and no coffee being made to order in front of us. I paid nearly $7 for the drink, expecting a freshly prepared specialty coffee. Instead, the preparation looked more like a pre-made/instant coffee process. For a coffee shop charging specialty-coffee prices, this was extremely disappointing and felt very misleading. The atmosphere is nice, but for me, the quality and preparation of the coffee matter much more. After seeing this, I definitely won't be coming back. read more

I felt awake after sipping. It's TASTY, fresh coffee! (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring Card or Contactless Payment.) I arrived at Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) on Thursday (around 9:17AM). Parking is easy. The lot is spacious and big. However, this business has awful visibility; it's very easy for new guests to overlook it. But like a strongly guarded secret, this business is POPULAR. Staff is efficient and amicable. Staff is polite and knowledgeable, but Staff is also curt and very focused on crafting their coffee. My coffee took four minutes and 26 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Madagascar Vanilla Caffe Latte ($7 - Large - Iced). When thoroughly stirred, the coffee's true flavor blossoms. The potency becomes balanced, and the taste of vanilla & roasted coffee lithely intertwine. The aftertaste is reminiscent of a smoky caramel. There's utility and personality in this freshly brewed coffee. It's easy to understand why this spot is so popular. On ambiance, Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) is a study/work paradise. Unlike the tiny outside, the interior is unexpectedly spacious. There's about six electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details are in small text on the counter's menu. The location also has about four tables, one long wooden table, and five mini portable tables. In addition, Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) is clean, well-maintained, and well-ventilated. There's a gender neutral restroom in the back, and the music is chill & calm. The location is filled with working college students whispering about Harvard and preparing for the future. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar). The coffee is affordable, good quality, and functional. The location is comfortable and calm. I've had mixed feelings about this place. I used to think it was just okay, but last time I went I had a blueberry specialty coffee drink and actually really enjoyed it. Their matcha is okay, but I think their coffee is great here. Just be warned, they are typically understaffed, and the wait can be long, I think a lot of it comes from big group orders. The ambiance is more on the trendy side, with wooden but tasteful seating, art hanging on the walls and a unique chair in the corner for what seems to be a photo-op. On a cold, rainy day, I needed a caffeine fix near Mt. Sac and found Grid Coffee thanks to Yelp. The photos and menu sold me instantly! From the parking lot, I thought it was just a small spot with an order window, but inside it's surprisingly spacious with clean lines and a minimal, Japanese-inspired aesthetic; super inviting. I ordered my go-to hot vanilla latte and couldn't resist grabbing a brownie, too. The latte was excellent, not all lattes are created equal, and this one had strong, smoky espresso flavor without being overly sweet. It absolutely hit the spot. The brownie came as a neatly cut rectangle of chocolatey goodness, pleasing to both the eyes and the taste buds. The calm, welcoming vibe of the shop was made even better by the lo-fi soundtrack playing in the background, such a nice touch that really set the mood. My absolute favorite local cafe, and even more that, one of the best blueberry matcha lattes, with oat milk, I've ever had in the world. I'm always searching for something comparable but I've never found anything in the ballpark of this taste. They used to have chia seeds in their blueberry syrup too which I loved but it seems to be removed now based on my last three visits. There are still whole blueberries at the bottom. My mom's favorite is the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk. Anytime I'm in town, I will make it a point to come here and was recommended this spot and have been recommending it to others myself as well. Although I personally haven't gotten the coffee here, I've heard only good things. There was always people here anytime I visit, a testament to it actually being good. This drink was creamy and yummy, and I could really taste the cookie butter. I loved the cookie bits. Even at "less sweet," it was still sweet but not overly so. A modern coffee shop with minimalist aesthetics serving up a variety of pastries and coffee. We came on a weekend afternoon and there was a small line which moved quickly. I decided to get the berry and matcha scone along with a Mocha Caffe Latte. I enjoyed the scone which was moist and flavorful, and the mocha caffe latte was refreshing on a warm day. The chocolate did have an artificial taste to it though which I wasn't a huge fan of. Service was standard. Inside seating is available in a stadium type of setting, as well as on the floor which was interesting as I have never seen a coffee shop with that type of seating. This review is LONG OVERDUE! :) I've been coming here since December 2021 & it's hands down my favorite coffee shop in Diamond Bar. I'm a matcha person so I've only ever gotten their matcha, and if not just their strawberry hibiscus (no longer served), herbal tea, and strawberry milk. I love their selection of matcha: strawberry with chunks. One of the best I've had! Their blueberry matcha is pretty delicious also. The customer service is great. Everyone is kind and efficient. I'd say the baristas kind of keep to themselves though and aren't overly enthusiastic. But overall, still welcoming & nice! The atmosphere is simple with wood seating areas. I like it. However sitting for a long duration can be a little uncomfortable since there's not much back support, but luckily they have a basket with padded pillows to sit on. Recently they added tables along the corner nook area which is great! Aside from that they have little tray-like table tops to set your drinks on or laptops/books/etc; while working. There's also plenty of outlets which is a plus. Not to mention they always seem to have a good playlist goin' :) Oh! & they have outside seating as well underneath shaded umbrellas. My only complaint is it gets really hot in there during the hotter months. Especially since they're facing south and catch all the direct light early on in the day. Don't get me wrong, I love the natural lighting! It's just more prone to getting hotter & I'm not sure if they have A/C. I'm sure they probably do but it's never been exactly cold in there like most coffee shops, mainly room temperature. All in all Grid is a great spot! I highly recommend :) read more

Lots of great drink options and appears to be quality ingredients. From the outside, the place looks a bit small, but it's actually very roomy inside. Service was just about average, definitely had a small wait for the coffee but it seemed like they were just being careful so mileage may vary. The seating though in my opinion was pretty subpar. Seating was either sit in the floor with a cushion or sit along the wall on these large steps basically. Not too comfortable. They did have normal seating with a normal table but space was all taken up due to how little room there is. I would say come here for the coffee or drinks but not stay. I ordered a double matcha. The matcha latte wasn't great and tasted off. The drinks use vanilla syrup according to the menu, but my drink had a strong cinnamon taste. I'm not sure if my order was made incorrectly or if there was some cross-contamination with another syrup, but it made the drink rather odd tasting. Matcha is usually hit or miss for me (honestly, I still prefer making it at home lol), but their double matcha iced latte actually hits. You can taste the matcha, and it's super smooth and creamy without being overpowering. If you're into that richer, creamier style of drinks, this place does it right, highly recommend. It's in a shared plaza with markets and restaurants, so parking is easy. I've been here a couple times; never been disappointed! Even if it feels like there's a long line, their service is pretty speedy. Dalgona coffee latte and the Matcha Coconut Cloud are my personal favorites! Dalgona latte is the perfect amount of sweet (just gotta let the Dalgona pieces melt a bit), and the matcha is so refreshing with the coconut water.
