Been searching around the neighborhood for a new vet as I just moved in town and let me tell you a lot haven't even called me back LOL I was recommended this one from a neighbor and I'm really glad I tried it out. My call was answered immediately and the lady was super nice helping me schedule an appointment. Also the vet and assistants where probably the most genuine people I've ever dealt with they had to hold down my monster Aussie but treated him so nice and just super assuring. I've never had a better experience at the vet and will definitely return as long as I live here! Highly recommended, the place is also very small which I personally prefer more intimate relationships when it comes to things like this.

I can't believe the quality of care I get with the lowest bill I've ever walked out of a vet clinic with. Dr Steve and Dr Tina truly care about animals and it shows. Their staff is awesome, I just love it here!

Instead, I trusted my instincts and took him to my regular vet. With proper care and Lasix, my boy is alive and thriving. I'll never forget when the ER doctor looked me in the eye and said, "As his doctor, it's my job to advocate for him." No -- I'm his mom. I raised him from a kitten. If anyone is going to advocate for him, it's me. And thank God I did. When I left my first review, the Medical Director responded saying he couldn't find me in their system. I find that hard to believe since I once paid over $5,000 at this same facility for another pet's hospitalization. There are good, kind people who work here -- I've met them. But readers should know this facility isn't an independent practice. Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is backed by large investment firms, including private-equity and hedge-fund-style investors. That kind of backing often prioritizes profit over pets, which shows in the way care decisions are presented. Please, don't let anyone pressure you into a rushed decision, especially euthanasia. They don't always know best. You do. Sometimes choosing life really is the best choice.

The vets and staff here are top notch and took excellent care of my dog both times. They went out of their way to make him comfortable and he was better in no time at all I'm both cases. Both trips were very pricey and made Christmas this year tougher than I had planned for but any ER is never cheap.

Doctor Park and Doctor Nikki H were the two with us most of the time and they would make sure we had a nice comfortable room, snacks, coffee and even coloring books and pencils for my toddler. They certainly could've done their job and we'd have been satisfied, however their passion for care of (any) animal clearly showed in how much effort they put in to our visit. You'd have thought we were their only patient in the office! And when you have to take your pet to an ER you're already on edge and stressed and they did everything in their power to help ease ours. I highly highly recommend and if we ever do need emergency care, this is the place we will be - and I recommend the same for everyone else. Thanks so much!

The employees and kind and comforting, as they should be. I appreciated that. The drawback is that before they even begin - the doctor gives you a bill to pay. When any additional procedure is needed - the doctor hands you another bill to pay. This occurred a minimum of 4 times while I was there. The pressure of the bill and having to make life and death choices makes for a not clear-headed decision. I understand that they want their money. I'm sure that can be an issue - however - putting a clip board with a paper to sign and a card charger in front of your face throughout the time there became a bit much. I was getting angry by the end instead of giving my baby the support that I should have been. I don't know the solution from the doctors viewpoint - but this was not the way to handle it from mine.

Good day to everyone, +++ I could only speak one my behalf…read more +++ HIGHLY RECOMMEND +++ I WAS PANICKING, YET CALM +++ I won't mention names, so I will only mention the team. The staff working the shift on 8AM-10AM (01/06/2026) were busy take note that there may have been some appointments... but they manage to assure me that everything will be fine. I am sure it is per say on each shift. But I felt like the call to action was immediate... before I got to sign any paperwork or ask for anything (I was in the process of handing them my ID). A nurse or doctor came to help my dog he is like a son to me. The VCA @ ALAMEDA, made the process smooth. After they left to check up on him. The ladies that are at the front counter were very friendly. And my information was jotted down on the system. They have a TV so you can see what your dogs wait time is and they even have the system text you. They also prioritize dogs the number (1) is a severe case I assume the (1) would cut in line... while number (3) is less severe than number (2), hopefully the concept is understanding. And they also show you on the TV what priorities number the patient is. Anyways... getting to the point... the nurses were asking me questions while I was in the lobby.... And I gave them all the information I could give. I was really worried but I think it didn't show but I was in a state of panic, thying to find what went wrong, although I have a very organized apartment... long story short I'm speculate that my T.H.C. was the reason for this situation... I am unable to find out how he may have done it... but in the end even if it was human error... I would have to take jurassic measure (I use the cartridge so I am not sure what to say but to be careful about where things may be... because it's the little things that make it that much worse) I can say I am in some sort of recession with my person. I didn't know that I would be in a veterinary clinic today. The amount was reduced by the laddies at the front counter. A controversial act to some but that now makes me more likely to go into this location rather then a competitor, so the future profits will probably go to them rather then the XYZ companies. I know that management knows that this team rocks! I hope that this is known that perhaps this may have the best interest for all parties, because of this how this particular situation was handled by the staff. P.s. "He is much more better" Thank you I will be glad to say that this can be taken as a learning opportunity. -ANGEL

You truly messed with the wrong person when it comes to me and I also have a very large social media presence. I should make a viral story about this and warn everyone in Colorado about this place. People come to you with EMERGENCIES- and you guys just kill their animals with no consequences. That changes now. So none of us are crazy your office is really this bad. Shame on all of you. This office killed my cat with zero explanation and I was too naive and stressed to realize what was happening at the time---and I have never been able to get over it. Then we had another emergency and my mom mistakenly took her kitten here without realizing that this was the clinic who killed our other cat. They were about to kill her little kitten too and I found out and rushed over here and took her to another place. They found the problem in 10 minutes and got her the right treatment. This place is DANGEROUS. The staff is so bad it's like talking to moronic teenagers. They are rude and don't care that you're stressed about your pets life. Don't trust anything they tell you! This place traumatized me for life when they murdered my first cat. They literally never gave me any explanation and I should have taken him anywhere else and gotten real help. If they want to put your animal down you need to get a second opinion. If they tell you they can't figure out whats wrong- you need to run to another facility. I am not sure how the owner sleeps at night. You're a disgusting greedy horrible person. This many reviews saying the same thing is not a fluke. This place needs to go. Every vet is expensive these days but just like the other reviews say.. you can tell this clinic ONLY cares about money and it's really disturbing.
