Called Huey to get a quote on my vehicle as I needed it done asap. Very reasonable, leading me to bring it in and it took less than 15 minutes to smog. As I was there, two other people/vehicles showed up. Huey told the first one he had to go to a repair shop while he explained to the other the tests needed for a pre 1995 vehicle. I used to be a regular here, but never again. You get to know a person's character when things don't go smooth. The guy ended up being a cranky jerk. If you don't want my business, I'd prefer you just tell me to go somewhere else. Due to the pandemic, my car battery died. Apparently that resets all your I/M monitors. Was still waiting on two and did what I could to ready those monitors but only one completed. Read you can still test with one monitor not ready, but he got all loud, unhelpful and just a jerk. He wouldn't test me. He just lay there in his recliner with his eyes closed yelling at me. I hate feeling taken advantage of by contractors so I try to always build a good rapport with guys you need to hire to do work for you. So character is everything. If when things aren't smooth, you become antagonistic toward your customers, why bother coming back? I won't be back. If you're in a rush and your smog is simple, then try him out. Otherwise, look somewhere else like Blake at A&B Smog or Vic at Smog World (Monterey Park). Both straight up good guys that are easy to work with and trust worthy. That's more valuable to me. Before I showed up there was 3 additional people Infront of me and the overall time Since I showed up was less than 20minutes. SUPER FAST SERVICE!
