The owner would not smog my 1999 BMW he said it was too large to fit in his garage and he would have to move his tool carts out of the garage. He just uses the business for tax write offs he keeps his other Toyota 4 runner in the garage as storage. Would not recommend this location extremely unprofessional and poor attitude. read more

I made an appointment at 9am. Was a few minutes late, but when I arrived, there were no other customers. He starts working on my truck and abandons it when two other cars show up for smog. When I confronted him about it, he stated he charges for the work, not by the hour so any cars that come in between the time he works on your vehicle, he will take. The second car appeared to be a friend and they were chatting it up for a while. While I understand the struggles with running a one man shop, the lack of communication and abandonment of project leaves a lot to be desired. He ends up not completing and work and sends me away. Maybe I don't understand what appointment means.... After reviewing all the reviews from this place...the evidence seems to conclude that Phillip has a stick up his butt. He comes off as unapproachable. The demeanor he presents says " I don't want to talk to you" and his service reflects that. I would highly recommend against coming back here. Multiple negative reviews do tend to reflect the true nature of these businesses. read more

Wow this place is quick and to the point! Came in with my sister when she needed to get a smog check and by the time I sat down and getting ready to pull up my Yelp app to see where we should go for dinner....her car was done! $35 and in/out in less than 15 mins. Another nice thing about this place was communication. In the SGV, English is limited and most businesses are Asian operated and Cantonese, Mandarin, and/or Vietnamese are by far more useful than English to a point where you can be ripped off for not speaking in their native tongue. At this place, I did not get that impression. Although there were others speaking in Cantonese, the guy that answered the phone and helped my sister had perfect English, so communication was not a problem and neither was their integrity. I had a problem with a car once and he offered me test only for a fee to see if i'll pass or not. i was able to diagnose and fix it later and passed after a week.
