Tres leches cake in a cup

Where to start??? They have delicious freshly baked Colombian cheese bread everyday and Colombian cheese balls called buñuelos that are a must try, especially in the morning when they come out of their ovens. It's probably the best ones I've had, ever. The only problem is that they finish. So if you don't get some while they last you're out of luck until the next morning. The have other delicious baked goods and arepas. I haven't tried them yet... key word here is yet. And to top it off they make delicious cakes. I ordered a cake with dulce de leche and everyone said it was fresh and delicious on top of being beautiful. One of my top bakeries in CT.

I went in for Too Good To Waste, I don't recommend it. The man did not seem to know what he was doing. I'll never go back

I absolutely love their coffee. I drink it slowly to savor it. I will go this week for a Cubano here.

Oh yes, a beautiful arranged salad with fresh prosciutto/ figs/burratta and a touch of balsamic vinegar. The staff is excellent, very kind and patient with our decision making process. I saw lots of platters of cheese and prosciutto being prepared in the back looks like it's going out for catering. We went in at an odd hour so it wasn't very busy, which was excellent for us we got the whole top floor to ourselves. Highly recommend .!!!

I ordered the short rib grilled cheese and my girlfriend ordered the Brie and fig crostini. We loved our meals. The short rib grilled cheese was definitely the best grilled cheese I have ever eaten. It was served with a side salad which was dressed perfectly. My girlfriend really enjoyed her crostini. This was a perfect lunch. The restaurant/cheese store was very cute and quaint. After we had our lunch we sampled some of the fine cheeses and ended up buying a few pieces as well. The store owner was very nice and shared a lot of information about the cheeses we sampled and purchased. The store/restaurant had two floors. The first floor is where you order at the counter and the second floor is a small dining room.

"Rose darling come to me All I ask of you…read moreIs make my wildest dreams come true" (Steely Dan) You probably don't need a PHD in linguistics to surmise that the Italian words "La Rosa" translates into the English words "The Rose". And if your wildest dreams happen to revolve around Italian comfort foods and well stacked sandwiches, well, do I have a place to make those wildest dreams come true for you! La Rosa is your quintessential Italian deli with dozens of grinders, paninis, wraps, salads, soups and a daily hot bar of pasta and chicken entrees. We ordered a grilled Panino Melenzani ($12) with eggplant, tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil and olive oil. It was grilled right in front of our eyes, so it was as fresh as could be. It had plenty of tender sliced eggplant, yummy cheese and fresh tomatoes. I went with my usual, an Italian Combo (half size for $14) stacked a mile high with Ham, Turkey, Genoa, Mortadella, Capicola, and Provolone with lettuce, tomato, onions, and peppers on a fresh loaf of Italian bread. It was superb, and the portion size was so generous that it lasted me for three lunches. As we were paying, we spied some home-made cookies by the register and grabbed an oatmeal and a chocolate chip to take home. Everything ran $32 for a ton of wonderful Italian goodness. We didn't get a chance to check out the hot bar. It wasn't open today because LaRosa's Marketplace was closing early for personal reasons. But I promise you, the next time we visit we'll leave with one of their chicken or pasta entrees. We love our Italian delis, and LaRosa's has immediately shot up into our top tier.

Which brings me to my newly crowned favorite sandwich - Tongue On Rye; ask for the tip slices very lean. I even got a dependable guarantee from our server she'd provide an unforgettable tongue sandwich. In a comedic mood, I asked our server to not give me any lip! She doubled over giggling and said thank you for your honesty and THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I've been asked just Tongue with "No Lip." Despite the comedy and light hearted conversation the table for two was perfect Harry & Sally style! Watching the action, enjoying the lean tongue on rye with mustard an unforgettable delight.

Quality is still good, price and portion are askew…read more We came here as a quick sandwich bite on our way around the state. Service was good, and the ambiance is still lively. The still tastes good, with some exceptions. The frier oil seemed burnt, so the pickle chips we had just had that little bit of carbon taste on them. The pickle chips batter was very thick, and the mayo was the only respite. The sandwich, still tasty, seemed much smaller than normal, the meat still had good flavor, but the portion was lighter in comparison. The prices are also a bit high. The sandwich coming out to about 15 bucks. The bargain is very much gone now, and the portion is okay for a sandwich but pricy because of this shrinkage. Not shown are the overcooked onion rings. We returned those and the server promptly removed them from the bill. So really good customer service. I opted for a brownie for dessert, and the brownie was a disappointment. Too sugary, no flavor, gummy, and disappointingly small and thin. A detractor for sure. As a deli, it feels like it's on the decline. I know things are pricier now, but what you pay vs what you get doesn't match up. I'm hoping they pivot from this path, but right now it's no longer my go-to. It's still tasty, just pricy
