Its offerings encompassed sushi and Thai dishes in addition to Chinese-American but they were executed well and tasted good. No cloying MSG or overly flavored with soy sauce. I had a Thai ginger chicken dish (pad khing) which was flavorful and ginger-forward (which I liked) garnished with whole sprigs of fresh cilantro. My daughter had a chirashi and she said the fish (tuna, sea bass, yellowtail, and salmon) was good and fresh. My wife had a Thai sweet basil vegetable dish (pad ba gai pow) which was nicely spicy and tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. A good place for a meal.

Noodles: 6/10- The beef was very chewy. However, the flavor was decent. Gyoza: 7/10- It would be nice if they were fried on both sides. Would definitely order again General Tsos: 1/10- chewy, gummy, slimy. Eggroll: 10/10- kind of hard to mess up. Portions: 10/10- thelis order could easily feed 4 Service: 0/10- I couldn't make requests on DoorDash, so I called in and asked for no vegetables in the rice and the lo mein. They confirmed the request and still added them to the order. Annoying there was A LOT of vegetables. They seemed a bit taken aback that I called about the food I'm paying for. I will not order from them again

Parking: street spots and also spots behind building as well…read more Decor: was suspect from the outside with a dark older brick facade but inside was done up right with a great paint color combo and open pizza area. Maybe some better lighting but a very nice interior with vintage grade school chairs!! Food: presented well and very tasty, pizza was good but had to ask for some crushed red pepper and seasonings. The beet gnocchi was excellent and the hummus was great too. The meatballs were in a skillet and were great but possibly needs more sauce Overall: 100% if in the area it's a revisit for me!!!

If you're on a pizza tour or just have a hankering for great pizza and good beer, Trigo needs to be your destination. This was my second visit in the last 12 months, and both times they delivered consistently delicious food and excellent service. You're greeted warmly with a smile, and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The pizza here is wood fired with a thin, crispy crust with just a bit of char. Don't be surprised if you see a small burnt spot or two--that's intentional and part of the style. If you enjoy the artisan-style pizzas from places like Pepe's, Sally's, Krust, or Otto, you'll feel right at home here. Located in the somewhat unassuming (and occasionally gritty) downtown Willimantic area, Trigo is truly a hidden gem. Street parking is available, or you can park in the rear lots and walk up the alley to the front entrance. We ordered the classic red cheese pizza, which was savory, crispy, and exactly what you want from a great pie. The real standout, though, was the Lemon White pizza. It was fantastic--unique, bright, and seriously delicious. Thin slices of whole lemon are baked right into it, and they're completely edible. A drizzle of honey and a touch of chili pepper bring everything together in a really memorable way. The beer selection is solid as well. We enjoyed the Keeper's Irish Red and the Mountain Magic cider. Honestly, give Trigo a shot--you won't regret it. My only complaint? They're closed on Sundays... which is a bit of a tragedy.
