They have plenty of seating, some upholstered furniture and we saw a few Friday morning telecommuters working on their laptops and sipping their coffees. Our order was a Chai Latte and a Cold Brew - each was $5. The pours were very large, and I swear that my cold brew was the very best I've ever had. I love coffee, drinking it hot or cold, and what I had here is in my all-time Top Five Percent. It was that good. I had a sip of my wife's Chai Latte and thought it was excellent as well. What really impressed me were the flavors of both drinks- not overpowering, but strong enough to appreciate them. The Coffee Guy has it all - specialty coffees, matcha, chai, espresso drinks, and pastries and sweet treats to pair with your coffee cup. We couldn't resist grabbing a few on our way out, and we took home a box with a Spinach croissant, iced blueberry scone, and a cruffin (croissant/muffin hybrid). We loved our visit to the Coffee Guy, and I was so impressed by the total experience, I just subscribed to their newsletter. Not too sweet but not bitter either. We talked to the owner for a little bit and he was very nice and personable. We will be back in the summer with our dog to sit out on the patio.

Everything came out quick and tasted great! The sandwich (chorizo) has just a little kick to it and paired nice with my strawberry chocolate iced latte There is seating, but it's fairly small. A quiet and quaint little spot with a chess board and some cool art work. We asked if they were dog friendly, they said "well behaved dogs", but we only stayed a while as this place became packed pretty quick.

No differentiation between the chocolate, coffee, or the lemon. It all tasted by straight sugar and cardboard. They also work along side another restaurant inside the food hall called Manny's treats. I order a cup of Frappachino and it was delicious. Their Frappachino is made with ice cream so you don't even taste the coffee. After the first sip you are left with the taste a rich and creamy drink that will leave your taste buds crying for more. Since I was on my way to an event with food I didn't get to try any pastries this time but I did order a honey cortado and it was perfect. Smooth, lightly sweet, and exactly what I needed in the moment. I can't wait to come back and try some of their sweets next time!

Main St., Market Sq and Lowrey Place in the center of Newington, CT. Parking is plentiful in the Square's large parking lot. There are plenty of various seating options in the form of couches, upholstered chairs, table/chair groupings, and counter-style seats by the windows. We saw a few medium sized groups gabbing away at the upholstered seat area and a few industrious folks clattering away on their laptops. We each went with an Avocado Toast (@ $9) with mashed avocado, diced egg, diced tomato, bacon crumbles, cilantro, and Everything bagel seasoning blanketing a big slice of toasted rye. Seriously, one of the best breakfasts we had this year. I went with a small cold brew coffee and a shot of sugar-free caramel ($4.25) while my wife went with a small light roast coffee ($3). Beary, Well Shaken is an invigorating blend of berry iced tea, fresh lemon juice and sparking water. This sounds very basic, and it's caffeine free, but it's so energizing and truly refreshing, it felt like it's caffeinated. My mom loves their capuccino. It's creamy, rich and delightful. I'm so glad Alvarium Roasting is now at Gastro Park.
