Came here as part of the Hartford coffee crawl. They had a seasonal drink list and I decided to get a vanilla iced latte pistachio cold foam. It was delicious. The staff here was friendly and the service was fast. This coffee shop is connected with a brewery called weHa brewing and roasting co m. They had a retro Sega game system set up and a bunch of board games to pick from. This is a cozy little spot to have a coffee or a drink. Definitely will be back when I'm in the area. I also bought a bag of coffee to go.

We were looking for a place to enjoy afternoon coffee and to read/study. WeHa Brewing Company and New England Coffee Guy share a space that is inviting for small groups as well as individuals to gather : 4 long tables with benches in the middle of the room, good for 4-6 people; 4 square tables on the sides, good for 2-4 people. Lots of natural lighting from the windows as well as overhead lighting and fans. Limited parking, only two wall outlets that I could see. We ordered an Americano and a Cafe latte. Both hit the spot. We'd be regulars here if we were locals!

Good latte, good bakery items, so far really good. Came here because I found them on a meal salvaging app and didn't even realize they were a brick and mortar shop. So took a day to make the trek in and give them a try. Got a maple bourbon latte and scone. The flavorings of the latte were light but gave the coffee room to shine. Coffee was not bitter, mellow and smooth with just a little of an earthy base note. Space was nice, but didn't get a chance to hang out. Food looked delicious, saw lots of chicken and waffles coming out and they were visually appealing but small. The scone was tasty but not my preference. Lots of blueberries but very dense. Will need to try them again, give their eat-in options a try. But they do a great coffee

I attended the Grand Opening of the New England Coffee Guy's Cafe at WeHa Brewing. In some ways, New England Coffee Guy is not a new business. The owner, Jason, has an "Espresso Cart" business and he has been doing on site coffee related events. Kind of like a coffee caterer. The Cafe, however, is new, and fills the void left by the departure of WeHa Roasting. Jason still does on site events too. I was there on a Saturday morning around 9. An organization called Coffee Therapy had planned its periodic gathering for this month at the Cafe. There was a DJ. A lively atmosphere. And the space at WeHa Brewing is very cool. I ordered a Cortada, which is not my normal drink. But I was told that sort of thing is a specialty. The color, heart art, aroma and flavor were all masterful. I had an opportunity to speak with Jason for about 10 minutes before it got crowded. It's obvious that he cares about the craft of coffee, sourcing, service and community. Also, there is a kitchen at WeHa Brewing run by Mama Nena, which also has an area food truck. Their food is really good, and that's definitely going to draw me in along with Jason's coffee. Great start to this new Cafe. 5 Stars

Very cute small coffee shop with great brunch items. The sausage quesadilla was very good. Enjoyed a cup of hot coffee while dining in and had a delicious iced latte to go. Service was great. I wanted to buy a coffee cup to have as a souvenir, I truly appreciated the server taking time to check to see if there were any in stock. I recommend stopping in for coffee and a quick bite. If I am ever in the area again I will go again.

    Mm goodness

Great coffee joint, locally owned, amazing egg sandwich, served by the owner Jason, the New England coffee guy, really amazing place built around great coffee and food, great place to hang and get some work done, ton of sunlight. Great rock music playing from the 90s, great experience.

The New England Coffee Guy has taken over the coffee portion of WeHa Brewing & Roasting. WeHa Brewing & Roasting is such a fun space to socialize with friends or make new ones. They host music events and book sales. The New England Coffee Guy was originally a coffee cart that could be hired for a variety of events. Now you can find them any time WeHa is open, which is everyday, except Mondays and Tuesdays. They have a menu with a large assortment of coffee, including hot chocolate, matcha and refreshers. I got the Maple Bourbon Latte which was listed on the specials menu. When they asked me if it's for here or to go, I told them for here. I was a bit let down that my coffee had arrived in a to go cup, especially since they have such beautiful cups and glasses even for the iced coffee. Despite the packaging fail, my latte was very tasty. This was made using locally made Maple syrup. The small size was generous. The iced latte was flavorful, strong, but not too sweet. It brought me back to life after a midday slump. The New England Coffee Guy makes delicious coffee. I would for sure stop by again.

Awesome business attached to WeHa. Really good coffee, freshly brewed. Great environment to read a book and hang out. Gentlemen making the coffee was super nice and conversational too.

This is a…read moretown with many great coffee options, and J René is arguably the best, depending on what you're into. It's more expensive than a Dunkin or Starbucks... of course. I can't believe some of the reviews. The coffee is roasted in house, the syrups are from scratch. If they could fit a cow in their (way too small) parking lot they'd probably have fresh milk and cream, too! Went in yesterday for a work meeting and the service was even better than usual. The vibe and atmosphere here is great for meetings, business or casual. My associate and I split a Siphon Pot to start. If you have the time, this is the very best way to enjoy your coffee. It really pulls the flavor out of the beans, on par with a pour over or aeropress, but it's also perfect for sharing. Afterwards, we both got Cortados, which were excellent, and I brought ice coffee back to the office for the man we left behind to run things. He sighed happily after sipping it, commenting that he could tell it was from J René. Why not 5 stars? The food is ok but I'm not a big fan of the pastries I've tried here. They're "fine". Normally my wife will get one and I'll try a bite or two. She's really into croissants and won't get them from here, saying they're a waste of money. The prices can feel a little steep here, especially compared to other good, local spots. Lastly, the parking lot is so tiny and during busy times of day the road can get crowded as well.

"I don't remember what day it was I didn't notice what time…read moreit was" (Spiral Starecase) No, I don't remember what day it was or where it was, but I know it was at a Yelp Elite function. One of my friends asked me (quite earnestly) if I had ever been to the Community Room Cafe for breakfast because "it's really great". Well, we went there today and I sincerely want to thank that unknown Yelper because the Community Room Café is excellent. We found it in the Constitution Square retail area bounded by Cedar St., E. Main St., Market Sq and Lowrey Place in the center of Newington, CT. Parking is plentiful in the Square's large parking lot. Their space is amazing -big, cheerful, inviting, comfortable, colorful (plenty of orange and black). There are plenty of various seating options in the form of couches, upholstered chairs, table/chair groupings, and counter-style seats by the windows. We saw a few medium sized groups gabbing away at the upholstered seat area and a few industrious folks clattering away on their laptops. We each went with an Avocado Toast (@ $9) with mashed avocado, diced egg, diced tomato, bacon crumbles, cilantro, and Everything bagel seasoning blanketing a big slice of toasted rye. Seriously, one of the best breakfasts we had this year. I went with a small cold brew coffee and a shot of sugar-free caramel ($4.25) while my wife went with a small light roast coffee ($3). We loved everything about the Community Room Café- the food, the vibe, the décor, the service.... Everything. PRO TIPS Their WIFI password is (one word all CAPS) ILOVEMY COFFEE They have a meeting room available to rent for $50/hour during business hours and $100/hour during non-business hours.

I chose a comfy chair with a table by the window I ordered an egg, cheese and sausage, breakfast sandwich, and to drink a raspberry cheesecake latte. My coffee was ready right away, and my sandwich was brought to me at my seat. Both orders were very good. The egg sandwich was huge. The egg is actually a large square. It was flavorful and satisfying. There are a variety of many items that include coffees, pastries, and breakfast items. The ambience is fairly cozy. There are couches, comfy chairs, and tables. After eating, I stayed another hour to finish a book I was reading. I would definitely visit again.
