Good breakfast, left full for under 35 bucks, which nowadays is hard to do. Hashbowns were crispy but soft inside, sausage was decent, eggs cooked perfect, friendly staff... The only thing that could use more work was the gravy. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't Bob Evans either. All around, it was grub and we were happy. read more

We recently stopped here for lunch and it was fantastic! The service was super fast and the food was delicious! I had the Reuben and tots and hubby had the clubhouse with tots! The Reuben was so full of meat, but meat to kraut ratio was perfect! The tots were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle; practically melted in my mouth! The club was amazing! All the features of a classic clubhouse, and the ratios were spot on! The beer came in a bottle or a can, which led me to believe they don't have beer on tap, but that's ok! The prices were very reasonable and we would definitely eat here again! The breakfast menu looked phenomenal as well! Don't let the outside fool you! After wanting to visit Lil' Moon Diner for some time and hearing from family just how delicious the food was and is I was finally able to get here and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The decor is a typical diner setting, booths on one side, small counter seating and then tables and booths on the other side. Once seated the service was amazing, food came out to the table so fast, so fresh and hot, constant checking to see if we were happy with our coffees and meals. One heads up... people wait in their cars for the 7:00am opening! Don't dawdle around or you may have to wait for a table or sometimes wait for a place to park!! But any wait is worth it!! read more

My guest had bacon and eggs and both plates were empty when we were done. Kinda busy but still received great service. Prices were quite reasonable for great food. I highly recommend this restaurant. Lil' Moon occupies the building where JD's Diner was previously. From the customer's perspective, not a lot changed. That's a good thing, as JD's was a classic. The menu is what you expect at a diner. Lots of breakfast choices, burgers, sandwiches, etc. The service is excellent. My first breakfast there was chicken fried steak and eggs. The CFS needed its own plate, and if it was prefab/Sysco sourced, I couldn't tell. It was covered with sausage gravy, and first rate. I've since had an omelette and pancakes. It was all good. Don't go to Lil' Moon if you want the corporate cookie-cutter experience. This is homegrown diner food. read more
