There is no flavor in any of the food and they have to mask the fact that this isn't authentic Mexican food with cheese sauce and what tasted like a canned red sauce. This is the place you hold all other Tex Mex restaurants measurable by. I've been eating here for 20 yrs and it never disappoints me. Prices are great, food is hot and good and service is friendly and fast. Their salsa and chips are so good. You have to try their queso too. Had a variety of meats and they wI'll customize anything if you ask. The Fajitas includef beef, pork, shrimp and chicken. Of course everything else that goes with fajitas. lots of lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and we asked for guacamole. The rice and beans are delicious. Great margarita! I made an order over the phone, lunch fajitas, chicken and steak, on the restaurant website $6.50 but they charge me $10.95! That is unacceptable! It is false advertisement!!!! do not come here if you're allergic to seafood! this restaurant cooks seafood on the same grill as everything else. they also made my mom pay for her food even though she's allergic. this place does not accommodate their customers well, if you don't like your food you will still have to pay for it. 0/10, wouldn't recommend! read more

I think this place sells the best Mexican food in my opinion..but I can't really speak for a lot of items in the menu because I usually get the same thing every time I go..choripollo..it's delicious..tge staff is really friendly..they put my order in as soon as I walk in now..lol..the food is always hot and fresh..and comes out quick..usually within five minutes..they give you the complimentary chips and salsa while you wait..I've heard the drinks are pretty potent too but I am not a big drinker so I never tried any..I prefer this one over any other ones but I do know others or pretty good too.the owners are pretty nice too..you will see them waiting tables a lot too., read more

Finally found good Mexican outside California! We came here with several friends for a lunch after working hard all day and the food was delicious! Served piping hot, super fresh, excellent food at a reasonable price. Service was excellent and friendly, our water glasses never emptied, and the dishes were removed as soon as they were emptied. We got enough food from a lunch combination to bring leftovers home for later tonight! We recommend this for good Mexican food at a reasonable price! read more

I've been here a dozen times and am now questioning myself once again. Why do I come here so often? This place is what I call 'canned Mexican' food and there are about 10 joints nearby of similar variety. Now I don't have the most sophisticated palate. That said, if I consider the food subpar then it probably is. First, the salsa is forgettable. For me if the salsa doesn't impress then likely neither will the entree. Second, the ground beef is almost tasteless, but it's also inexpensive so there you go. Third, I don't know. I just felt like there should be 3. But sometimes you just want something that is reminiscent of a chimichanga, smothered in cheese sauce, no matter the poor quality of beef tips stuffed inside. Am I right? 1 star for being my type of comfort food. 1 star for cheese sauce. It's hard to muck up when it comes from a can. (I suspect) read more

I'd eaten there several times in the past but this time wasn't what I'd expected. I had the nachos with beef. You would think this would be exploding with flavor. To my disappointment, the beef was a little bland with very little flavor. It wasn't spicy at all. The texture of the beef seemed over cooked. The queso was the only thing that I tasted in the nachos. I may give them another try in the future but it will probably be a while. read more

I had been to this place a few years ago while visiting the area and remembered it was good. It's still just as good with all your typical tex-mex cuisine. The salsa was really mild though. When we asked for the spicy stuff it wasn't much spicier. The food was great and you can't beat lunch for 2 under $20. My family and I have been coming here for years, most of the time on a weekly basis and have always loved it. However, over the past 6 months there has been a dramatic change in the experience. All but one employee are extremely rude, the prices are never consistent ( even though we order the same thing every time ), and they act as if it is a nuisance if you need something, such as utensils.. the customer service is just terrible and makes the visit very unpleasant. I went there today for the second time this week and once again was treated with rudeness. This restaurant will no longer have my family's business. I called the front desk and asked for the name of a good local Mexican Restaurant for lunch and they gave me directions to this place. It is not pretty, but that is cool. I think most of the time when I go to restaurants for lunch I like simple, plain places and that is what this place was. I was seated immediately and given some chips and salsa and a diet coke. The chips were fresh and well crispy. The salsa was nothing spectacular, only adequate. The main was a chimichanga and this was the disappointing part. It was served in some sort of cheese soup. It was on a plate, but the queso was so abundant that the lettuce was literally floating. I think it was supposed to be queso cheese sauce, but not sure because no one ever came back to ask me if I like it. I didn't like it and I ate half. It was soggy and salty and wet. the chimichanga which in my experience is supposed to be fried crispy was like a wet enchilada. At pay stand lady asks finally, "how was your meal?" I paid and didn't bother to tell her because had anyone cared they would have asked a couple of minutes after serving it. I'm going to tell the hotel front desk to stop suggesting this place for lunch, maybe dinner is better. read more
