Ok so............as far as the food goes it's a NO! Unfortunately they lack in flavor and quality. However I want to acknowledge they have a very friendly staff and good margaritas. Also, they have a wide variety of food selections on the menu so shoot your shot and hopefully you won't miss like I did. Beware of the chicken dishes bc their chicken dries out QUICK! Also I wouldn't get a cheese based dish bc the cheese sauce gets stiff very fast. However, the cheese sauce/queso is good. But seriously it's not hard to make a good queso so no points for that. IF I ever came back I would only come for the margaritas and queso. I came on Cinco De Mayo so they were packed and the staff gets EASILY overwhelmed but like I mentioned before they are so sweet so it's hard to get upset.

I stopped into this Mexican restaurant on a wimp after not wanting to cook. Neglecting all Yelp reviews I wanted to try it for myself. Overall, it is a pretty average Mexican eatery. The food was to be what you expect at a typical Mexican restaurant, however the service could have been much better! I had the Agave Especial which was grilled shrimp, chicken, steak, peppers, onions and rice. It was very tasty and fresh, and the shrimp was seasoned very well! You get complimentary chips and salsa (to be expected) and we also ordered the Chorizo queso which was okay. It was a little too runny and greasy for our liking. This restaurant isn't super Covid friendly. They did wipe our seats down and table, but they still have hard copy menus that clearly are dirty. Other than have to get the servers attention a couple of times, this place is pretty good and I'd give it another try.

What is this??? I'm pissed...where is the cheese, and why are the nachos over cooked? This is the last time I let this place rip me off! There are better Mexican spots in the area

So my husband and I went here after a long day. We got there around 3-4pm. When we walked in, I questioned if it was open because it looked so dead. One of the workers got up from the table she was sitting at to greet us. We were quickly seated & given chips with salsa. The chips and salsa were VERY tasty! There are several menu options to choose from, and they have pretty good priced combos. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with onions and bell peppers. It was good, but it made me sick. When I got home, I literally vomited everything back up. My husband got sick as well. Service was great, however. Our server was extremely nice, and we did not have to ask for anything because she stayed on top of everything!

High hopes for this place because we generally have nasty Mexican food on this side of Atlanta. Standard strip mall place with a strip mall layout inside. Chips and salsa bought out pretty quickly, salsa tasted a lot like ketchup, always a horrible sign. The chips were average but were at least warm. Lovely wife and I split the guacamole, it was a heavily puréed bland mass. Also got the veg 2 plate. Quesadilla was average, chalupa was actually pretty good. The bean burrito had what tasted like pizza sauce on top. On the good side, their house margarita was on sale and they had bottled Negra Modelo. Waiter was average, bus boy was super nice. Not coming back but this place should do ok because people around here don't expect much from Mexican food.

I've had 2 great visits! Jesus waited on my table both times. He Rock!!! I am a fan of all three locations and I love the cantina dip! However, on this last visit, the dip did not have enough cheese it seemed as if the pour just a little cheese on top of the meats that are served in the dip..... Now don't get me wrong, Im not complaining about the extra meat, I just wanted the actual dip, I will definitely try it again on my next visit. The restaurant was extremely clean and the service was fast and friendly. Jesus did a great job on both visits. Prices are right in line with other Mexican restaurants in the area and there are a few, but I will be visiting this location again soon. FYI: next to the Publix

Quite impressive. Short version, come here…read more Huey Luey's food is decent, but their real magic is their service. The servers give you a card promising to give you their best for a great experience, and, by and large, they strive to do it. Our server was Alisia, and I recommend asking for her by name if you can. She was friendly; she explained options to us; she got our coupon to work easily; she remembered our customizations and got them right. Very helpful. The food was good. I'll admit that to me, all Mexican food tastes the same whether it's from a Mom & Pop place, Chipotle, or Huey Luey's, but this stuff tasted just fine. As you can see, the decor is fun and welcoming. Another special feature: when a kid orders from the kids' menu, they get to pick a treasure for the treasure box; it's a decorated treasure chest "guarded" by a stuffed Octopus named Pablo. They can pick from candy or mini-toys like slinkies, little scorpions or snakes, rings, etc. Thanks to Katherine for pointing this feature out to us. One minor thing: you can get into this location from the main highway or the back; come in from the highway. The back is a one-car-wide entrance/exit, so it blocks up. As with anywhere in Hiram, turning out can be tough, so take the back exit around to get to a traffic light. Worthwhile stop. Friendly crew, good food, recommended.

Originally we were seated on the patio, but unfortunately I couldn't sit outside due to the amount of pollen. w/ no hesitation they moved us inside and began helping us with accommodations! We placed orders for drinks and appetizers, followed by the entrees! I ordered the Texas fajita burrito filled with steak and chicken with a side of rice and beans, very filling! I also ordered queso dip, and a sangrita swirl w/an extra shot, completely satisfied after my meal! I even had leftovers to carry home. The food was delicious and we will be back!

Each tequila was paired with a dish that the restaurant specifically curated for the tasting. We had a fish ceviche on top of a tostada, esquites, a gordita filled with squash blossom and cheese, and a bonus dish of chicharrón on top of a sope. Everything was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. My favorite was definitely the gordita filled with squash blossom and cheese. Luna y Sol is family-owned, and the owner's mom is the chef, which makes the food feel even more special because you can tell everything is made with love. The owners are also super nice, and they have great prices. I actually went back later that same week and ordered the chicken tostada and steak, and both were delicious! I didn't realize how big they were, which is why I ordered two, but honestly, one would have been enough--especially since I also ordered a side of rice. It's a chill vibe and family friendly. I also heard they have a "surprise me" drink where the bartender creates a surprise cocktail for you, and it's only $12. I've only tried one drink from here so far since I went to the tequila tasting and they made a welcome drink, which was really good. I just don't remember what it was called. Overall, Luna y Sol Cantina is a great family-owned spot with delicious food, fresh ingredients, friendly owners, and great prices. I definitely recommend checking them out if you're in Austell!
