I've had al pastor tacos, carnitas tacos, and a pork tamale. They were all delicious, only the carnitas taco was literally dripping with grease and I wish the meat had more crispy bits to it. Other than that the meat was tender and flavorful. There's also a bar with all the condiments needed for the tacos. This place was an amazing go-to spot for a quick lunch. It likely still is, if you're not as carnitas-focused as my spouse, who really only liked that dish and otherwise no longer wants to go. Sadly, their carnitas have gone downhill a bit lately - maybe there are supply issues in getting all the key ingredients for their marinade? I don't know. Anyway, we used to be big fans of Tacos La Villa in Smyrna but they were always slammed and we moved further away. Taqueria El Guero, at least for the things I've tried, was nearly a 1-to-1 replacement. I largely stuck to the nachos or tacos, with either chicken or carne asada, but greatly enjoyed those dishes.
