Dined at The Green Room for the first time last night and had a delightful experience. We decided to attend to hear live music by Daniel Lamb. Daniel is so talented and his style of music was just beautiful. He played 4 different instruments all beautifully. Okay so the restaurant - the decor is of an eclectic style with a flare of bohemian. All the tables and chairs are vintage and of different eras. Your eyes are drawn to the wall hangings, the figures on the shelves and even the light fixtures which are all of different design. The pizzas we ordered were to say the least delicious. We ordered The Meat Pie (see photo) and the Margherita (which we ate so quickly and forgot to take a picture) You can definitely taste the love that the owners put into their food. The service was top notch. Really friendly waitress. Everything came out in a good amount of time. Loved the food. They told us they try to get everything as local as they can and it seemed like it. Nice and airy. We have half cheese, half pepperoni. The pepperoni was a nice quality. Full of flavor. Not spicy. It was gourmet. I could've eaten more but I was sharing with some greedy kids. Our waitress asked if we wanted dessert. Of course we do. Cookies and cream, chocolate ice cream and brownie bites on deck. I could've lived without the bites. Outstanding from the minute we walked in; our server was Kayela (?) and she set the tone with a big smile and helpful, friendly service; we couldn't have felt more welcome. Definitely had a hippy vibe. Food was really good, but we were also realllllyyyy hungry by the time we got it. Also, I ordered Meade and she asked if I wanted a double. I just discovered this restaurant via word of mouth and never knew it had been right in Mableton for a few years. Thank goodness they survived the pandemic! This a a nice place for the family as well as hear amazing local musicians. The food is delicious and sourced locally as much as possible. There are so many craft beers, just let Linda (owner) recommend something and you won't go wrong. Sit at the bar and get to know the owners and your neighbors over a beer or wine and delicious pizza, calzone, or sandwich. For dessert, try any of the handmade ice creams or a banana split! The decor is eclectic-homey with various second hand dining tables and chairs. The rest of the 5 star reviews aren't lying. The pizza was great. The sauce was mildly sweet, it was wood fired, and the pepperoni was flavorful, but not overpowering. A little sad they didn't have any flavors of ice cream I liked available since it's made in store, but the desert was great. It was a little brownie dish that was also made in the wood stove. They call it a turtle dumpling and it was amazing. It was chocolatey and buttery. Sweet but not over powering. All in all a great experience. Also I was served by the owners and you could tell they are passionate about this place. I was a complete stranger welcomed in like a long time friend. They even offered me some of the food they were eating. I came in at a slow time and it sounded like they had a busy night planned. I have been following The Green Room Restaurant on Facebook for a while and have been intrigued by their posts since they opened. Besides being busy I don't really have a good reason why it took us so long to visit. I really wish we had gone sooner. We went in about 1 o'clock, so about an hour after opening. There were a few customers seated and eating. We were promptly greeted as we walked in the door, we chose a table to sit at and were promptly waited on by the owner. They have a really awesome bar to sit at and watch your pizza being made. The style and vibes were on point and chill. I think my favorite thing that made it feel so homey and comfortable were the tables. There are a bunch of family dinner tables that you would see in people's homes being used as their dining tables. I really liked that. Not long after we ordered the appetizer came out - pretzels, and they were so delicious. We got the garlic spread and garlic oils for dipping. You will NOT regret ordering these. Then our pizza came out piping hot and delicious. We ordered the margarita pizza and the pepperoni with jalapeno. I tried both and would absolutely order them again. After the pizza we ordered the homemade Mexican vanilla ice cream and the turtle brownie bites. The dessert was equally as delicious as the pizzas! I visited here with high expectations being a lover of pizza and calzones and eating authentic food before from Italy. This food left something to be desired. I ordered the calzone and house salad. The house salad was a traditional salad with homemade ranch. The menu is not too versatile you have to order the pizza or calzones with the toppings they come with or you have to create your own. I love a lot of toppings on my pizza or calzone so the menu was not the best for me. Not to mention their food is pricey so when you start creating your own it's expensive. My calzone was a decent size, I kept it simple with Italian sausage, spanich and mushrooms. The calzone could have use some butter or Parmesan on the top of it. The calzone was fine needed more of the toppings inside. It was also dry. The garlic butter and marina made it better. They charge for everything like takeout fee and for the garlic butter. I do appreciate they use fresh ingredients here. However, Mellow Mushroom calzone is way better.The customer service here was good though. read more

This is the coolest new place in Mableton. I have been there three times in the past week and a half. My wife and I are trying to eat right and we have been ordering the Cauliflower Crust Pizza. On Friday night, dining with friends, we ventured out to try the Cheese Lover's Pizza which contained three special blends of cheese and it may have been the best pizza that I have ever tried... My tasty buds are singing a happy song. The chef roasted a delicious hot cheesy pizza with fresh ingredients in a marble pizza oven. We enjoyed a local brew, fresh squeezed lemonade, and homemade chocolate hazelnut ice cream for dessert. Service was impeccable. Feels like hangin out in my living room at home. We came here for dinner. We ordered the "Ermahgerd" pizza and it was delicious. The toppings on it are sausage and sweet peppadew peppers. All their pizzas are cooked in a wood burning oven.
