The worst experience I've had with any dealership. I purchased a bike from them 3 months ago and I still don't have my registration, plates, or title. I tried working with them to fix this, but never once received a call back from their title clerk or sales manager even when I provided them the specifics of what the DMV needed to move forward. I ended up needing to file a police report to get my paperwork declared missing/stolen so I could resolve this myself. I've purchased multiple bikes from PA before and have never run into anything like this before. read more

I went there two years ago to buy my first bike at the time I was treated like a nobody a salesman walk to me and my brother and told me that if I don't have a 750 credit score The bank will not do business with us, we didn't even mention anything. We just wanted some information on the bike at the time. This place is a joke. I've been there 2x walked around was never even questioned or asked if I needed help. Super lazy group. Today (being the 3rd time) i go in there and after 10 mins of walking around a dbag salesman stands up at his desk and asks if we need something (thinking yea help ahole) so as we begin to explain that we need something for the wife to ride as our son grows into the size for this he immediately stops us and asks how old he was, we replied 11... at that point he refused the sale refused to help us or even hear the clarification that it was for him to grow into.. argued back and forth trying to reassure him it was for the wife he wasn't listening and kept saying I can't sell it to you. Completely unprofessional and ignorant on top of being a lazy pos. Did I mention he was still standing up behind his desk, waiting to push us away to sit back down. Hands down the worst dealership I ever went to in my life. Ill never go back and NEVER recommend anyone to go there. If you want proof, take the ride your self but ill promise you I told ya so. Bought a bike a year ago. Everything was smooth and painless. Fast forward a year later and I went in for service. Not only was that smooth sailing. Everyone treated me great and my bike was done before I got home and I got a few things done so that was surprising. Then I went to pick it up next day and the price they told me was awesome. I bought a Honda rebel 300 brought it home realized it wasn't for me at this point of time learning how to ride clutch with my busy lifestyle. I am currently focused on bettering my career in a online school called springboard for data analytics to achieve a certification. Jason the salesman called me back offering a deal for the automatic Yamaha zuma 125 to trade in the Honda rebel I couldn't resist. To cut to the chase. Firstly their service is horrendous. No timeline for doing service and non committed timing. Wait and see if we can do it attitude. Secondly changing a battery on the bike that cost $80 prive of battery had a markup including labor $365 plus tax. Time to take battery out and in was about 30 mins. Another issue trade in. I got ( and no joke ) $1150 more for my trade at another location 30 miles away. I have been coming here for 15 years. I know Bob and Zele but everything is so different now. I was there a few days ago and dress as a normal Shirt and Jeans browsing some Motorcycle and Riding gears. I been walking around at the showroom and looking some bikes. I was looking around about 20-25 minutes and not a souls of customer services agents greet and ask if I need any assistant until I myself make an inquiry and ask a particular bike... The customer Sales people need some new training on how to approach people I think they go by how you look and how you dress to able to get a service. read more

I was a mechanic when i was a young man so i am familiar with the pre computerized age of motorcycles. Today motorcycles are like cars , Computer nightmares . In fact they are even harder than cars to diagnose. I have a Superbike collection all brands including MV AGUSTA and Ducati which Montgomeryville are a dealer now . Service is excellent as is sales and parts. Everyone in dealership are true motorcyclists and nice people. The owner will solve any problem you might have , real strait shooter. MV Agusta owners .... This is the place to go if your in the tri state area . PS in contrast DO NOT GO TO MOTORCYCLE MALL they are blatant theives , Service ? .... Before Montgomeryville carried MV had to take F4 to Motorcycle mall went in for FINE tune . They screwed tune up so bad bike WOULDNT RUN without stalling out in 20 ft. They still charged me and the there computer is programed to double hours charged . MONTGOMERYVILLE DID PHENOMINAL TUNE IN 1 WEEK bike fixed and running great. read more

My wife and I stopped in to purchase either an electric bike or a scooter to commute back and forth to work. We had cash in hand no need for financing. We parked in the lot, walked into the showroom, walked over to look at the electrics they had. Walked over to see what scooters may be on hand. Not once did an employee of the cycle center say hello or acknowledge us. We walked away and can not recommend this cycle center to friends or family. More so I would recommend staying away from Momtgomeryville Cycle Center, they just don't seem to care about making a sale or customer relations. read more

I swore years ago not to let these clowns work on any bike I own. They charged an outrageous amount of money to rebuild a set of carburetors and the bike still ran like crap. I ended up fixing it myself and the carbs had CLEARLY never been rebuilt. Fast forward to now, and I've had the misfortune of acquiring a race bike that they worked on. It's unbelievable what a lousy job they did on this thing. Stripped bolts, parts ruined from being left too loose, etc. Stuff you'd expect from a high school kid. Awful. Don't go here. I took my bike in to have some work done and they totally ripped me off. Not only that, but they said that it would take 3 days to have the work done and they had the bike over 2 weeks. When I finally called to tell them that I was picking up my bike whether it was done or not, they said it had been done for 3 days. They claimed that they had called me twice, but I had never received a missed call or a voicemail. I even confirmed the number and they had it correct. Just a bit behind the times in customer service. I needed a part for an old bike, both of which have been long out of production. A local shop in my home town did a national search and found some new-old-stock at Montgomeryville Cycle Center. I was stoked! I ordered the part on Montgomeryville's website. Then I received an email saying my order was cancelled and was given no explanation. I called to find out why, and they said the "parts guy" was busy and he would call me back. But he didn't. So I called back and asked again. After sitting on hold a few times, and listening to one confused employee after another, someone finally said that my order was cancelled "probably because they no longer have the part". I asked if there was any way they could double-check their inventory. They said no problem. He came back a few minutes later and said, "yep. I've got one in my hand. Want me to ship one to you?" But of course, my good sir!! The part was $7.38, and he said shipping would be over $7.00 as well. I was a bit put-off by this, but I needed the part and was just tired of the hassle this was becoming. The part arrived in a reasonable amount of time. But... (and when I say this, I must tell you that the part was a small rubber boot) ...it arrived in a box that was large enough to fit a chihuahua. And there was enough packing material to give the little pooch a ride on one of Wile E. Coyote's Acme rockets, crash into the side of a desert plateau, and watch the little doggy waltz away unscathed. Yes... a small piece of flexible rubber (about the size of a wine bottle cork), whose sole purpose is to provide long-term protection between two pieces of metal, while enduring some of the worst road shock and debris that engineers could think up. Now I'm just bewildered. Why couldn't they just put it in a small padded envelope? Here's a newsflash that most online sellers learned over 10 years ago: Your customers get ticked off when you overpack and overcharge for shipping just to make a few extra bucks. But hey, I am glad that I got the part. And the situation could have been a lot worse. I just find it silly. It's like they went out of their way to make the packing as ridiculous as possible. The next thing I know, I'm getting email spam from them several times a month. I didn't ask for it, and I certainly didn't give them permission. I know they don't need my permission, but I find it rude when a company doesn't ask to use your email address for spam. Again, companies learned a long time ago that their customers get unhappy with lackadaisical customer privacy policies. So I guess I'm wondering, are they actively trying to lower their customer base? read more

I bought my Goldwing from here over four years ago. They gave me discounts on accessories (i.e. Kuraykin, etc.). Their service is good, and reliable. I had to have fork seals done this year, they lent me a bike to ride home and completed the repair on time. Hats of to Teller for his service and to Steve, the mechanic for helping me out today when my headlights were not working (a quick shot of WD 40 in the starter switch and I was back on the road. The best part of this store in the Accessory Manager, Scott Mitchner. Not only does he give me the best price on what I am looking for, but if he does not have in stock, will either order it or call me when it comes in. He has stood behind every item that I have bought. If I had a problem with something, he was quick to either repair it or replace it. Kudos and a big thanks to Scott. read more

I called in today searching for a Gremlin Bell for a gift for my husband. A man named Teller told me my options that he had available at his location. None really were appropriate for this gift. He offered to call around to other local shops on my behalf. He called me back in a few minutes as he located a shop that had a few other options. Yes, he offered and followed-up. Teller provided me with the name of the store, address, phone number and contract name of the store with the item. Amazing service for such a little thing. First let me sale the salesman Geoff Robinson was a pleasure to deal with. In the past year I have purchased over 5 units (all ATVs) for myself and my boys. I bought my first bike from them over 30 years ago and few since and had always been a loyal customer. Here is the problem- I purchased a minibike for my son a few weeks ago and after taking delivery of the bike we decided it was way too much for him ( it was a two week time span). We truly only rode the bike about 60 feet !!! I called Geoff to see if I could return the bike understanding I wouldn't get all my money back ( paid in full over $2,700.00 with accessories !) Geoff informed that the sales manager wanted to give me $1,200.00- seriously??? He did eventually go up to $1,400.00- WOW ! thanks for the favor! I WILL NEVER give them another dollar of mine. They have lost any chance of my or my neighbors potential business. Its sad that they are so short sighted about how they handle their customers. Not your typical stealership. There prices for bikes is average and they won't just sell you a bike. They believe in seeing people work there way up in bike size rather then just let a kid make a 1000 his first bike. They have staff that I believe is pretty knowledgeable, but very opionated when it comes to gear. There prices on gear are a bit high, but there service is top notch. They seem to be the cheapest in the area for numerous services, their tire prices are very low too. The way the service department is ran is very good too, clean, professional, and most of all quick. I don't have one bad thing to say about these guys. I've purchased 3 motorcycles from them in the last 6 years. Every time I've been treated as though I'm not just another quick sale, but as though I matter. They have worked with me on every sale to the best of their abilities with giving me the most they can on trade in values, etc. As far as the service department, those guys are fantastic! Without an appointment, yesterday (Friday, 9/18/2015) I took my motorcycle in for an oil change, front and rear brake fluid flush and state inspection. I was extremely surprised to receive a call only a few hours later telling me that my bike was all finished. In the past, the longest I've ever had to wait without an appointment for any service I've needed was one day for it to be finished. They've never let me down. read more

I've dealt with these service guys a few times as well and it's unfortunate that niche motorcycle shops like this take the customer service approach of "what do you want" instead of "how can I help you". I assume it's because they know there are not many options in any one area, contrast car dealerships/service, so customer service doesn't have to be a priority. Motorcycling is a small industry, so I recommend to make this a higher priority at your next company meeting and teach some of your folks how to treat/approach the customer that keeps them coming back read more

Looking for a helmet locally here in Chester County, PA and found small selection at our local dealer (1 brand). Went to a dealer in Boyertown where they had a better selection, but the staff was too busy b.s.ing with their friends & each other to help us even though we told the receptionist we wanted to purchase a helmet.. After trying a few on, we took a chance & rode to Montgomeryville CC. Best decision.. Bobby (Robby?) spent a half hour explaining all the technical aspects of various helmets. Bought my 2012 Kawasaki Concours here a year ago, and for a while, thought they were ok. The first big problem I encountered was that I ordered engine guards at the time of the purchase, and many weeks later, they couldn't tell me when they would be in. I called the manufacturer of the engine guards, who shipped them to me the same day. Paid Montgomeryville to install them, and I thought we were back on track. Then, this past week, I purchased a popular after-market item which they don't sell, and knew nothing about. It was a freaking fuze-block, but they wouldn't install it since I didn't buy it from them. Called my salesperson to see if he could talk to the owner about reconsidering this, but never got a call back. Found another dealership to deal with, and won't be doing any more business with Montgomeryville Cycle. Seems like they could care less about you after the initial sale of the bike itself. Too bad for them. Their greed cost them any future sales to me, but I really doubt they care. Don't think they have a clue when it comes to engendering repeat customers. read more

Extremely poor customer service. I traveled 90 minutes to this location looking for a specific bike which they had in stock. Upon walking in and around the sales area no one acknowledge me and there were no other customers. After a walking around a bit I requested help and the sales guy got up from his desk, indicating he had to retrieve the bike without introducing himself, no eye contact, welcome -- Nothing. He was NOT friendly at all! The correct bike was brought out after confirming the VIN for the second time. That wasn't a big deal, I was patient. I asked about price and it's typical to have a negotiation conversation when purchasing vehicles. There was a 1 minute discussion and the salesman got on the bike and pulled off as if we were not having a conversation and potential sale. My entire time there was 10 minutes and after that unwelcomed and unprofessional experience I will never be back nor recommend this business. read more
