Recently had Dr. Aslanyan fill in my gap tooth with veneers. The procedure was amazing and he blended the teeth so well that my new front teeth look exactly like the rest of my teeth. Dr. Aslanyan and the team at this office are amazing! They have been my fiancé's family's dentist office for as long as they can remember. Every one of them goes here. The only reason I hadn't in the past was because I am a former foster youth and I have Medi-Cal which they don't accept. I didn't have the means back then to get other insurance and pay a hefty copay or deduction. However, this week, I was in excruciating pain and my Medi-Cal dentist said it would take over 4 weeks to get the approval for my root canal. They said I could drive an hour away to another location for an emergency appointment but when I got there, they said the dentist that does them wasn't there for a couple more days. I was annoyed and in pain and cried in my car. My fiancé said to just pay out of pocket because I couldn't last like that and called his dentist. Cue these amazing angels!! Holly answered the phone and spoke to my fiancé. She answered all of our questions and gave us the range it could be based on which tooth, etc. Not only was Holly so informative, she said to go in as soon as I could get back up there to fill out paperwork and start X-Rays. I drove over and from the minute I stepped in the door, they were fast, kind, and just overall amazing. Starting with the numbing...I've never NOT been in pain during the numbing, let's be honest...it hurts. But he did this thing with my cheek and I did not feel a thing. I kept waiting for the pinching pain but it never came. My root canal ended up being kind of complicated and stubborn but he didn't show any worry and did an amazing job. The relief of pressure and pain was instant. He constantly sanitized tools and even made sure to disinfect my mouth to make sure no bacteria or germs from my own saliva contaminated anything. He was so thorough and gentle and even numbed again partway through to make sure the experienced stayed pain free. I didn't get the names of the hygienist or assistant, although I wish I had. They were so kind as well and took great care of me when doing my temporary crown. She answered all of my questions as well and made me feel comfortable with all of it. I cannot recommend this office enough. I will happily pay out of pocket because the experience here was incomparable to any other I've had. It's so far above. You won't regret it. read more

This dentist is awesome. I've been there a few times for cavities and cleanings, and they're always so quick, efficient, and have really good prices. I also just had some chips fixed in my front teeth that have been bothering me for years. THEY LOOK SO GOOD! I thought this type of cosmetic work would be wildly expensive, but it was totally within my budget. I was pleasantly surprised, especially because it looks like I have brand new teeth. My family and I have been going to Dr. Aslanyan for a few years now. I must be at a different office than some of the other reviewers. The receptionist, as well as the other staff, have been friendly and helpful at all times. Dr. Aslanyan did an outstanding job on a root canal, post, and crown. I barely felt the root canal. I have been to a number of dentists, this dentist is one of the most skillful I have encountered. His charges were about half of what I paid a dentist over in La Canada, he is very reasonable. My wife has had two crowns done. We are always given a written estimate in advance, the final bill has always been the same amount. I would like to say that all those reviews that have bad ratings under me are absurd! Dr. Aslanyan is amazing at what he does. I was refereed to him back in 2011. I went with a tragedy that had happened to my 2 front teeth and it was horrid. He really calmed me down and assured me that my smile would not differ. My 2 front teeth were saved and no one could ever tell on the accident that had occurred to my teeth. After that I was certain that not only is he forever going to be my dentist but I was also assured that he was not someone that wanted to rip me off. I have been to other dentists in the past and I have had horror stories that have happened to me but since I have been here i know that I am in good hands. I recently also had a Teeth Cleaning and The Dr. that took care of me was Dr. Chibarian may I say I don't think that I have ever been taken care of to that extent while having a teeth cleaning. She is amazing at what she does and is so gentle that I was nearly falling asleep. I know you might think that I am crazy for saying I was falling asleep at the Dentist but I really was. She shows her passion on how she loves what she does by the touch that she has. Again every time I would go to the other Dentist offices I would have either dental assistants or Hygienists work on me and I haven't ever been as satisfied as i have been with Dr. Chibarian. I don't have any issues with the Dentists or the dental assistants, they are all wonderful. What sucks about this place is the front office staff. I've gone to this dentist for five years now, and every time I need to deal with the front office staff, I'm thoroughly annoyed for at least two hours. I'm fully on board when the dentist tells me that I need to have work done. I hate getting one price when the work is quoted and then another higher price once the actual bill is due. It's always the same story: the "insurance" that made a mistake. The last issue that I had here was in regards a simple cleaning. I was scheduled for a 6 month cleaning and had to cancel at the last minute. I NEVER DO THIS. But that's why it's called an emergency. I was told that they are booked for ALL cleanings for the next two months and that I needed to keep calling back to schedule another appointment. I'm moving on to find a great dentist with GREAT front office staff. It's very simple, write my name down on a list and when someone cancels or you have an opening, call me... Good Luck! read more

I have loved every visit, even the tough jobs, at Montrose Dental! Ten years a devout patient. Dr Joseph is precise and smooth. He doesn't hurt; expert at giving shots that do not hurt, quick and efficient with graceful moves. I can tell the man knows his "artistry" as a dentist. He replaced my front bridge to perfection. It takes a whole lot of trust to allow a dentist to work on a gal's false FRONT teeth!!! His staff are professional, sharp and very courteous. They all have pride of ownership in this family business and treat each other and me with respect and interest always. My insurance is through Met Life and the dental office handles all the paperwork. I don't get charged for cleanings and not much for anything else beyond the front bridge I mentioned above. I went to Dr. Aslanyan based on a referral from a close friend. He was able to squeeze me in on short notice and repaired a large filling without simply removing it and replacing it with a crown. He also did a great job repairing an old bonding on a front tooth that had been discolored where another dentist wanted to grind the tooth down and apply a veneer. Dr. Jaqui does my cleaning and she makes sure she thoroughly cleans around every single tooth multiple times to get all the tartar out. Request her for your cleanings. Dr. Joseph does my fillings and root canal work. He is fast, efficient and recovery time is very short with all his dental work. The front desk is sweet and polite. I know other yelpers complained about the front desk but the current receptionist is very nice. I love it when things go this smoothly. I got my new Dental Insurance from my new job and was assigned to Montrose Dental Group. I called in not knowing where to start and the girl in the front helped me out greatly by answering all my questions. She was very pleasant and scheduled an appointment at my convenience. When I arrived to the office I was greeted with a smile by a gracious front office staff. I don't think I waited even a minute when I was called in to the back by a dental assistant again with a smile. Then I met Dr Aslanyan who was very helpful and informative who put me at ease as I was a bit nervous. The treatment was great I didn't even feel a thing, had a deep cleaning and a few fillings done that day. I'm not a person who rushes to the dentist by any means but I actually look forward going back to see them again in 4 months, as my experience was very pleasant.
