Called in 12/5/23 for an 02 sensor. "Chris" answered the phone and said the part was in stock. When I got there it wasn't the right part. So we look up the right part and tells me it's going to be there 12/6/23 . Takes my name and number and says will give me a call when it arrives. Next day I call in to check up of the part and speak to "Rounal" . Proceeds to ask for all my info again instead of telling me off the back Chris never ordered the part. Alex the Manager tired his best to resolve the problem by discount but for the $5 extra I could go down the street to autozone since they had the part in stock. Finally an auto parts store in town with knowledgeable employees, let alone nice!! I've been trekking across a bridge to Pacheco for years knowing that my toll was worth the customer service and getting the correct part. Now that monument is in town I no longer have to drive 15 minutes to talk to someone with decent automotive knowledge! The tips and tricks known by the staff, who seem to have a limitless reserve of information never ceases to amaze. Came here on 12/2/2019 just because it's raining and their Windshield wipers is $3 cheaper than Pepboys and autozone BUT! right after I purchased my wipers they told me they can't put it for me for warranty purposes! I was like what the hell? Pepboys and autozone even toyota dealerships will put this for me for free! I have no idea how to put it but I managed to do so but the problem is I didn't put it right! andit flew away in the freeway and almost got into accident because I wasnt able to see! I went here today to buy a few things for my truck and was turned away for no mask when not one employee was wearing one. I have spent a lot of money here and don't plan on returning. But they will invite you in to sell you a mask for 2 dollars and your buying this mask at the same counter you would buy your parts just dumb. read more

These guys are fantastic. My son had a small accident in our old Durango. I had to replace the power steering pump, hoses and the radiator. Cameron, at Monument Car parts Vallejo, helped me save so much money. (I calculate about $170) Cameron had small parts hard to find elsewhere, which helped me reuse parts that still worked. Finally he steered me to a product called "Alumaseal" which sealed up the small hole on the radiator, so no need to replace. That's $100 right there. I highly recommend this place. I've done many purchases here. This is the last time EVER ...This is my only one star review I've done of years of Yelping... The worse customer service ever. They do NOT back up there products they sell and without a reciept you might of well of gotton the part from the corner of walk and don't walk. (yes their 'system' doesn't save customer information like most of the rest of the part houses) . On top of that you have to deal with 'the know it all attitude', the boys locker room talk and dont give a crap attitude 'doing you a favor just to be there'. If I could give less than one star, I would. I showed up bright eyed and bushy tailed Sunday afternoon 5/24 at 2:00pm to acquire some much needed car parts and was greeted immediately by two store associates who told me to put a facemask on or I could not enter the store. They told me that if I did not have one, I could buy one for $2.00. I understand during these times of pandemic that it is extremely important to stay vigilant in our hygienic practices to ensure everyone is safe so I went to retrieve my face mask out of my car and I then entered the store. I then proceeded to purchase a mask for my brother who came with me. When I was handed the mask, I noticed that none of the store associates were wearing face masks themselves. My brother put on his face mask on and entered the store and after looking at them, immediately asked the employees, "where are your face masks?", to which one of the employees replied, "you gonna buy them for us? How rude!! Ok, I completely understand the need for the masks in the store but it only works if EVERYBODY wears them, agreed? I don't see how in the world you can have a store policy where customers need buy one just to enter and then not require your employees to wear them. And then to be treated so poorly by the staff?! I know these are trying times and not all businesses will come back after the pandemic. It's just the way it goes. But that means companies should be working harder than ever to remain courteous to their customers in efforts to maintain their loyalty. It pains me greatly to say that if this is how Monument Car Parts is going to treat its customers, maybe it's time we stop supporting them. I can get my car parts on Amazon just as easily with free shipping to my door and nobody to treat me badly. Just saying... shame on you guys. read more

These guys are Awesome! I stopped in today because my car began to overheat and was starting to shut down. My friend and I wanted to ask a few questions in order to see what we needed to do, not only did they answer the question; they took the time to come out and look at my vehicle. They suggested an inexpensive product and temp fix to get us home and at least to a mechanic; they even assisted putting coolant in my car. My friend, son, and I were able to make it back home safely with no further issues today. Just can't thank them enough for their helpful service, it was very much a blessing!! I started coming here when I seen this place open and it's been great ever since then. Ward works with me to make sure I get everything I need and he explains any questions I might have no matter how big or small. If he's not available then the other young guys seem to have been trained to perfection. The shop is clean and well stocked. The staff have excellent customer service skills. Easy parking and great access to the freeway. So happy they are here in town. read more

Best customer service given by knowledgeable and helpful staff. Foolishly I first went to Auto Zone, Pepboys, and Sears looking for the correct battery for my car. Some had a battery but it was not the correct one, the next two had a battery but not the connection to vent the battery. In each case the staff just looked and had no answer to the problem. Then I went to Monument Auto Parts in Vallejo. All the staff pitched in to resolve the problem, They even tried to made me an adapter that would fit if the fitting they GAVE me did not work. The fitting worked and the battery was less than at any of the other parts stores. Excellent. read more
