I have never shopped at Napa Auto Parts except for today. After calling around for parts for my car, Napa Auto Parts were the most helpful and didn't make me feel like I was interrupting their day. Kudos to Kevin with his excellent phone skills. Today, I went in to pick up my parts and was helped by someone else (no name tag). He was very helpful, took the time to lookup other things for me, gave me my AAA discount and helped me bring the parts to my car. All without giving me an attitude, not stopping to help other people, not stopping to answer the phone and not stopping to chat with his co-workers or friends. So, as far as I am concerned, no more Kraigen (O'Rilley) but I may still use Pepboys. However, I will always check with Napa first. Chris Marler read more

Oh this location is alive and well best believe me. The workers are very nice and helpful. They are not the issue in this case they are very lovely. The man running this store is another story. Michael is short tempered and very rude. Will not let you speak or get a word in to explain anything. Uses hurtful and inappropriate language as well. Never been treated or spoken to so poorly by someone RUNNING A BUSINESS. Michael you should educate yourself on the polite well mannered ways to speak to another human being. read more

This location may possibly be the worst example of Napa Auto parts in the country!? Doesn't matter if you are calling or walking in, there will be a minimum 5-15 minute wait before they even acknowledge you in store if it is not completely empty. There is the one older gentleman who is always helpful (when I absolutely have to stick it out and shop here). Great store but this location is hard to deal with. Especially due to the staffs lack of attention to their duties. It's like standing in the DMV if there's more than just the workers inside. SMH! I can't give one star because of the older guy who's great. Probably the literal glue holding this location together. I like Napa auto parts a lot, but this location needs more people like the older guy. If you walk in and see the older gentleman there you'll be fine as long as you nd up in his line. read more

When you have a old car or truck this is the place to go!!!! These guys know there stuff. I have a old 1972 Dodge Van that I needed oil for, but this was a special oil that had a lead additive for inside engine parts made by valveline and they had it!!! Then I came back to get another hard to find oil named liqui moly and they had this as well!!! The service is top notch here and when you talk to these guys they give you advice you can count on, because they have been around and not like the young kids that say ( ah I don't know) this is the place that I will be coming too and buying for all my auto needs. I went to this Napa Auto Parts Store needing a battery for my truck. I was appalled at the employee as I walked in was not wearing a face covering. I came in the store with my old battery, set it onto the counter and as I was doing this, the employee was looking at me like I was inconveniencing him. Contempt is what was looking back at me. I politely stated " I need a new battery" the unmasked employee looked up the truck information and stated that this particular battery had to be ordered and it was going to cost $200.00. Since the battery "had to be ordered" I left and went to Autozone instead. They had the battery and I paid $30.00 less then the Napa Auto Parts quoted me with a wait time for ordering. I don't know if this is the culture that is fostered by Napa Auto Parts, but I can tell you, I won't ever have a need to visit this company again. We are in a terrible pandemic. One of the easiest and most effective way's to reduce transmission is to wear a mask, social distance and wash your hands. I would strongly advise Napa Auto Parts to fully engage in employee training on the importance of wearing a mask as well as customer service skills. read more

Over the passed two months I have been doing a lot of work on American cars. Usually I'm working on European machines but I was helpin out some family, who have some domestic vehicles. Ive also had experience shopping at other local, brick and mortar auto parts stores. The staff at this location are the best! Excellent customer service! Excellent knowledge! They just get it! My first purchase wasn't perfect but the person who helped me made it right and even made it better! The best thing I love about napa autoparts is the online reserve feature! and so far everything I have reserved and purchased was ready about 1pm the same day or the next morning. This is excellent when planning jobs! Ohh, why did I choose Napa in the first place?? Because they use Wix as the house brand of oil filter. Why Wix you ask? Well, lets just say I have cut open quite a few oil filters in my "grease monkey" hat wearing days and have seen a few things most people don't see. I'll leave it at that and simply say, since they choose wix, this shows the quality of the products they sell. read more

OK so I have to admit I go here from time to time. I recently broke my starter in half (thanks Ford) and didn't want to risk driving all the way to Monument. They had the starter IN STOCK AND REASONABLY priced. TOTALLY AWESOME!!! But.... The dings are for the negative BS I had to put up with to return my core. I will continue to use Monument Auto and BWS as this location while good and well stocked, has some pretty ridiculous unpublished rules that DO NOT APPLY at other parts stores. Honestly, thanks for giving me my core charge back but F-U and your know-it-all attitude which was WRONG. If I have to, I will shop at other NAPA's from now on, you lost my business. read more

I needed a specific Napa auto part and this Vallejo location was the closest to me. The auto store closes much earlier than its competition, which made it a little difficult to get to. Needless to say, I headed down and was a little disappointed. I was expecting a big, well-lit, Auto Zone like store. However, Napa seems to cater more towards mechanic shops, as most of the items are behind the counter. I was assisted by an employee and was in and out within a few minutes. My go to auto parts store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They are able to get me my hard to find parts and they arrive quickly. Went in a few days ago to order a part and picked it up today. Dave was knowledgeable in helping me order the correct part for the right price. Got a very friendly greeting from Kayla when I walked in which is why I go here, the customer service is better than the other auto stores in town. The new manager has been great at answering questions and takes the time to ask about what car I'm working on currently or how I've been lately. I prefer driving across town to go here even though there are other stores closer to me just for the great service. read more

I simply cannot understand how a store can be filled with employees with no knowledge of cars or parts. I called and reached a lady who made me spell out the vehicle make and model (Chevrolet Tahoe) and then made me spell out the part (main bearings). Then she told that they don't make that part. I was a little understanding since my husband to has a thick accent, but come on, you have to be able to understand the customer. At this point I asked for the supervisor, she sent me to a ' car part specialist ' who also seemed to have trouble understanding me. After repeating my make and model a few times - he asked for a vin number (which was not available to me at the moment and he insisted I go retrieve the number before he could help me.) I called O'Reilly's down the street and had the part information and got it ordered in less than 2 mins which really makes me wonder about these guys. read more

The staff at Napa Auto Parts are extremely knowledgeable. Loni at the front desk is great and whenever I have a question, she has an answer. If she doesn't she will find out and get back to me. On Fridays when I go pay my bill, I bring my two little malti-poos with me. Loni gives them treats and then a few minutes of play time. Rob also plays with them and tells Mia to give kisses. Needed a battery for 2004 Buick Rainier...not only had it (it has the idiotic terminals on the side rather than on the top), but lent me the tools needed to swap the defective battery for the new one right there in their parking lot.....and let me wash up afterwards!! There is a Pepboys, Kragens, and Autozone closer than Napa Auto Parts, but if you need nuts, bolts, and washers, they're the go-to guys. I only needed a hexagonal nut and lock washer to secure the tension rod for a power steering system, and they had it. Best of all, all it cost me was the fuel to drive there! If theres something I need that is not in the store they get it for me, same day usually and drop it off at my shop about 2 miles away. I work in Vallejo but live in Oakland. NAPA in Vallejo is totally my auto go-to place. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. I recently found a part I had bought a couple of years ago (cleaning out the basement) for a car that was totaled a few weeks after the purchase (before we had installed it) and after two years they still took it back for store credit. They have always sold me parts that fit like you purchase them from the dealer but at a lower price. I always get Good Quality Parts from them that always fit my car and never have I expirenced to have to return a part because I was sold the wrong part, as I have with other Auto Store.
