Dog friendly with delicious brews!! I got the Simply AJ, a ballpark IPA, which was super good!! I really liked how smooth and the fruity notes to it. Service was really friendly and they were really knowledgeable. I liked how there was a lot of seating inside and a few tables outside. One thing that really stood out to me was how dog friendly it was and there's also dog treats for them!!

Taproom fronts the brewery with tables at the rear of the brewery and the bar by the door and standing bars throughout. Employees working the taps were helpful and friendly. I had a flight of three and then settled on one for the road. I went with the ghostcamp, draft lab #3 and the 51rye IPA. All were good. I settled for the ghostcamp as my parting draft. Huge building with lots of parking spaces...even a few marked HC.

This is a lovely place to get together with friends and catch up after a long weekend. The brewing company does not provide food in house, but they do have pop up food events as well as companies in the area that cater to the brewing company. I'm so proud of the fact that they make a Orioles-themed beer when partnering with Adam Jones!! The staff are so kind and helpful to answer any questions you would have over beer tastings, overall the service is phenomenal. And let's talk about the convenience of a nice parking lot right in the back!

I came upon this event on a humble and so glad that I did. They were celebrating their anniversary with an outdoor event that included bands, music and several food trucks and a lot of outdoor seating. They had different tickets you could pre purchase online. The event was held from 2pm till 10pm They offered different admission prices. First was regular admission. Which you would have to purchase your drink tickets separately. They offered an admission ticket with 5 drink tickets included and the last was the VIP. They also offered everyone first drink on them which was a can beer of your choice. You received a bracelet. The event was good. I haven't drank like that in quite sometime I told my husband. Glad events are finally opening back up after Covid. They had two indoor unisex restrooms. With plenty of Johnny on the spot available. All the employees were super nice and I just think everyone was so happy to be back out socializing again. We had a great time and they also had plenty of free parking available. Which is always a plus while visiting Baltimore.

I stopped by Monument City Brewing recently with my husband and a few friends. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my beer (I can't remember if I got a Pilsner or a Kolsch but it tasted off to me), but the space itself was great - large, open, with a stage for live music and TVs for watching sports, and open to the brewing area. They have a lot of parking, which is also a major plus. The service at the bar was good, too. I'd definitely give it a second shot because everything else about my experience was very good, but the one beer I tried wasn't one I enjoyed.

Nice selection of beers. The prices were good. Small inside space with a stage for small bands. Some outside seating but wasn't available the day we went. It was for a private party. They need more stacks or food. They only have a meat and cheese plate. Dog friendly.

Yelp Fam Let me tell you about one of my favorite spots to grab a beer! Monument City is a great spot for a chat and a brew! This dope brewery is located about a mile from Patterson Park. 12 taps of amazing Brew to choose from, they offer indoor & outdoor seating. Dog friendly as well for you pet lovers. They even have water on tap in case you try to taste all 12, Drink responsibly! The staff is always nice & helpful when I ask 20 questions about the new beers. They also have a impressive merch collection of hats, Tshirts & more. Overall this Brewery is a must stop by this summer. If you need to get out and grab a beer check out MCB!

Nice place to watch the second half of the Eagles final leg to the Super Bowl. Beers were spot-on. Cherry Pie Sour was perfect, slightly sweet and not overly sour. So "pro-dog" I felt bad that I didn't have one. Bullhead Pit Beef food truck was amazing.

Another excellent brewery in Baltimore! If you follow my reviews you know I LOVE breweries! And Maryland has some awesome ones. Monument is one of those at the top. I stopped in for a few brews while in the area and the variety was impressive. Several different styles of their regulars and a few 'special' brews. My favs were definitely the Southbound and the Woodstove. Two completely different styles but excellent flavor. The Southbound was a hazy double IPA. Very hazy and strong. The Woodstove was an imperial stout that was very strong with a sweet toasty, coffee flavor with hints of bourbon. I then tried the Rox and Friends, a style I had not had before called raichbier, which is a smokey, dry stout. Really interesting. Definitely worth a visit. I should add that they now have a restaurant next door that looked good. I'll give that a look on my next visit.

NOBO and SOBO are my absolute favorites! I was happy to see they had SOBO on the menu when we stopped in on Sunday for a quick beer. We were trying to visit new breweries that we never had before but when we realized we were driving by Monument, we had to stop! The bartenders were super friendly and welcoming. They are dog friendly although Reaper was not with us this time!

Monument City Brewing is a great weekend hang out spot in Baltimore. It's in a complex with an axe throwing place. The brewery itself is huge! Tours are offered and there's a beer where you can fill your growler or order a pint for there. You can do smaller pours for a tasting or try a regular serving of their beer. If you like sour ales, order the very sour lime beer. There's a large indoor space with tons of tables, two bathrooms and a few games like ping pong and Connect 4. There are tables outside with cornhole. This brewery makes for a great weekend!

This brewery has it all - a great selection of beers, snacks, food truck, live music, parking, and even axe throwing next door if you're in the mood. We went on a Sunday afternoon when there was a reserved event happening to the side, but there was still plenty of seating available for other people and groups of various sizes. The ambiance is relaxed, and there were even people camped out with laptops doing work to the side. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The place is dog friendly and even have t-r-e-a-t-s for their furry guests. I highly recommend this place as a casual hangout or even work spot for individuals and groups alike.

And…read morewhen it comes to beer, service, ambiance, food, and things to do outside of drinking good beer, Peabody Heights is the brewery that checked off all of those boxes and then some! For ambiance, Peabody Heights is located in the old location of Oriole Park, and it plays to that history perfectly by having a mural dedicated to baseball players of the Orioles past. The main space is also HUGE, featuring tables of varying group size, two bar areas, an outdoor courtyard featuring their own food truck, a private party area, and even more that I'll feature in the fun section!. For beers, I was enjoying IPAs, pilsners, lagers, porters, stouts, and then some. I even had a sour beer that was a vibrant blue color! But them being partnered with Charm City directly across the street meant that I was also enjoying damn good meads, and they also had good cocktails and NA options. The food truck banged out Asian American fusion comfort food that you could order from either your phone or an indoor tablet with ease. And my shrimp scallion pancakes and Korean corn dog were absolute bangers! For fun, Peabody has not one but TWO awesome arcade spaces. The first one I entered was a huge and satisfying PINBALL ALERT, and I happily spent all the cash I was carrying playing the Quest and Pokemon pinball tables. But when I pulled back the last door I walked through around last call, I was also absolutely blown away by their HUGE arcade room that featured any kind of arcade game imaginable (shooting, fighting, car racing, MORE pinball, etc) and a second bar space. Toss in stellar service and a great selection of takeaway beers and mead, and Peabody Heights is well worth the visit!

Highly recommend this spot for groups looking for a place to gather and socialize. The space is deceivingly large; there are multiple indoor spaces all within a quick stride from a long bar with dozens of beer taps. The outdoor space is even larger than what's available indoors; their vast street level patio/deck space is full of picnic tables and benches that are perfect for larger groups when the weather is nice. And yes, their outdoor patio is pet friendly. While the brewery itself doesn't serve food, there was a food truck (that looked to be there quite often) set up in the outdoor area that had several good options. I had their burger and fries which was exactly what I needed after an afternoon of brews. The beer itself was tasty; I had several of their hazy IPA's which I've grown to enjoy. They also offer a very solid selection of N/A beer options; some of the folks in our group enjoyed them and gave them great reviews. I didn't get a chance to check out the arcade portion of the brewery, but yes, this is a barcade as well. If you're looking for an inclusive, energetic brewery to check out, definitely keep Peabody on your list.

I had a true 5-star experience at Nepenthe. A few weeks ago,…read moreI visited Nepenthe for a happy hour at work and had the chance to meet Chef Andrew. During our conversation, I mentioned that my wife absolutely loved a specialty burger from his previous restaurant. That restaurant closed several years ago, and the burger isn't on Nepenthe's menu. Without hesitation, Chef Andrew told me that if I gave him some advance notice and brought her in, he would get the ingredients and make it especially for her. So that's exactly what I did for her birthday. When the burger arrived, my wife was genuinely surprised. Chef Andrew even added a candle to the plate to make the occasion extra special. The burger was everything she remembered. She often says she compares every burger she eats to that one, but had resigned herself to the idea that she'd never have it again. Bravo, Chef Andrew. What makes this story even more remarkable is that I had only met him once before. This wasn't something I asked him to do--he was the one who suggested it. That's the kind of hospitality is something I'll never forget. The food at Nepenthe is consistently good, and the atmosphere is fun, lively, and full of energy. It's a great spot for happy hours, trivia nights, and group gatherings. I'll never forget the kindness and hospitality we experienced. This is Baltimore hospitality at its finest.

When we arrived, we were seated right away, but it seemed like there were very few staff working--possibly only one waiter. It took about 10 minutes before we finally had to flag him down just to place our order. The food then took around 25-30 minutes to come out, which felt very long since we were on a tight schedule for our flight. When the food finally arrived, I ordered the macaroni and cheese, and unfortunately it was the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. I don't want to be mean, but it was very bland and really needed salt. My sister surprisingly liked it, but it just wasn't for me at all. The rest of my family did enjoy their meals, and I thought the fries were decent, just lightly seasoned. My mom especially liked the grilled cheese. The waiter himself was nice and kept our drinks refilled, so I don't think the long wait was entirely his fault. The restaurant is very cute inside with cozy, old-style vibes and festive Christmas decorations, which I really liked. However, between the long wait times, the limited menu, and my disappointing mac and cheese, I wouldn't recommend that dish.
