If I want it clean, I will go to Broad & Hamilton. If I need to just knock the salt or crust off, I'll pay the $5. read more

The past few times I've been to this location, the guy working the kiosk has been SO aggressive with trying to get me to become a member. Like, 1980's car salesman aggressive. Each time I say that I don't want to be a member because I only come one every few months and he's still very pushy. This time I declined the membership again and told him my husband and son usually wash the car together. He responded by saying "no, they don't". My three year old son was in the back and got really upset and was asking "why did that mean man say I didn't help daddy wash your car?" The car wash itself is fine, but I'd rather drive 10 minutes to the next closest one than go back here again. It's just too much over a $16 car wash. read more

Very poor business practice here. The young man at the kiosk would not let me pay $26 for a one-time car wash without signing up for a monthly plan. I live 90 minutes away and was in town for work. I told him over and over and over and over and over again, that I was from out of town and that I would not be signing up for a monthly plan. He proceeded to keep repeating the same spiel regarding a monthly plan Ad nauseam so I asked for my credit card back and left without getting a car wash. As I'm writing this, it is a level 2 in Columbus Ohio. Roads are are not exactly safe and people shouldn't really be out unless they need to be. Less cars on the road the better in these conditions. Moo Moo though has decided they need to be open, because it's really important to risk yourself and others to get your car washed. A big problem for this company/Moo Moo car wash is when it charges us, it just does it, but will not give its customers/us any billing/charge notice ahead. This was why during 2018 to 2020, my husband, a dementia old man, was charged two whole years for no service, every month $24.99, but he didn't get any notice ahead or later. It's a drive through car wash and serves its purpose well. (If you're looking for something better/more upscale, take your car to get detailed ) The monthly memberships allow you to get unlimited washes - so worth it for OCD people like me. I went here to wash my car and noticed the line not moving where customers are paying. The unlimited line allowed 8 cars through, 5 of them arrived after I did, but got into the wash before me. I paid for my wash and another car got through before me. I was able to exit before entering the wash, even tho I paid $8 to wash my car. I use this wash about 4 times a month. They lost my business today. The monthly customers are clearly more important to this business. read more

Being a part of the Unlimited fam means there is rarely a wait. Car comes out decently clean, it's not spotless by any means but overall I think it is worth the money. I've been a member for over a year. I love the morning staff, they always greet me with a smile and ask how my morning is going. Monique always goes out of her way to say hello. At the time in the morning I go there, there's never a line. Vacuum's work great, my car always comes out clean. I just got my car washed at The Broadfather MooMoo Car Wash on East Broad Street. No issues with the wash, but the female staff member with long hair running the gate was extremely rude. I am a MooMoo member, so I am used to simply pulling up to the gate, allowing the sensor to read my windshield sticker and then driving thru, all while NOT using the touchscreen because I do not need to. However, MooMoo is increasing their rates and there is a message on the screen that every patron needs to read and accept before proceeding. I did not know this...and that is all fine and good, however, I would appreciate not being scolded and talked down to by the gate attendant because I did not notice the screen message when I approached the gate. Moo moo added an additional lane which instead of speed things up slows it down. It is cramped. The turn to get in the car wash is tight. The "fast lane" for pass members is extremely slow. Stopped here yesterday for a quick wash. As soon as we were inside the wash area our olfactory senses were assaulted by the most godawful stench;; it smelled like we had driven into a dumpster full of produce that had been rotting in the sun for days. My friend and I immediately covered our noses with our shirts and had to breathe through our mouths throughout the entire process. Once we were finally free I looked for the attendant to complain but didn't see him. Then I called the phone number but only got voice mail. The stench still lingered long after we had driven down the road, even with all the window rolled down. My only guess is that it has been a loooong time since their cleaning apparatus has been properly sanitized or whatever they do. I suppose it's possible a loaded Rumpke truck had gone through just before us, but... nah. In any case, I'm not in that area on a regular basis so I probably won't be back, but I will try to contact them again to complain personally. read more

OK, who loves a cheap car wash? I do! With the salt and crap all over the roads, I decided I really needed a good wash, and Moo Moo was advertising a $5 basic wash special - much cheaper than anything else around. Even better, they also had the ultra-super-delux version for $10, which is STILL cheaper than a similar wash at a gas station or most local chains. The wash itself is the usual automated service, but I appreciated that next to the "barn" they offer free vacuums and air. The quality of the wash and wax was great, and I can easily see myself coming back when I'm trying to get a really thorough cleaning inside and out. My only concern was the payment setup - one lane was cash only, while the other accepted cash and credit. This was marked at the entrance to the car wash, but not closer to the payment area. A lot of people seemed confused, and it caused some issues. Maybe marking that at the actual gatehouse / booth would be a good idea? read more

This is one of the best car washes I've ever been to! Everything you would expect and desire from a car wash is here... and more! Friendly staff, short wait times, easy payment and free, unlimited vacuuming! They also have a little store where you can get things like air fresheners if you want. The super wash (at $10) also includes the opportunity for a $2 mail-in rebate. Is that overkill for a car wash? Probably. But its nice to know the option is there! When you drive up, there's ample room for a line so that's not a problem. You can either pay with cash or a card at the computer (typically two at each location) and then you drive in. The attendant will direct you inside the barn-shaped building and point to a screen with reminders. (This is also where you can get your card stamped. Customer appreciation cards are free, and every 9 stamps gets you a free wash!) First, your car is sprayed with water, then soap. Next is scrubbers which are amazingly gentle on your car. Then, there's another layer of soap and water. The final layer of water is at different speeds, you can see the soap coming off your car. A few seconds under the dryer is the final step and then you're done! Its about a 3-4 minute process. After that, there's a parking lot lined with vacuums where you can vacuum your car (with unlimited time) and do everything else. I recommend bringing a set of drying towels with you. I like to keep my new car very shiny, so I use microfiber towels. Their dryers aren't the best, but they get most of the water off. read more

I went in to get the salt off my car and ended up leaving with a TON of soap left on the rear glass and rear bumper and tires. They are in such a hurry to pack the cars in so close to each other, I'm pretty sure that is why I had so much soap on my car. I saw that they were sandwiching cars close to each other and I held my car back (pissing off the attendant) before entering so I had at least a full car length between the car in front of me and my car. The car in front of me left with NO SOAP on its rear end. I paid for the mid-range $13 car wash and feel cheated. I will stick to a different car wash altogether since this is the 2nd time this has happened. read more

Glad that they "recycle" water, but at what cost? The last two times that I went there my car literally smelled like a septic system had spilled all over it. When you go to get a car wash you don't expect it to come out smelling like crap. The first time I just assumed that it might be a busy day, the second time I realized this is the norm for them. I frequent this location (have for a couple years now) and if I ever have any troubles the staff is very friendly and quick to help within reason... prices with their specials they are having cannot be beaten... I have tried the goo goo and don't think they are in the same category. As a bonus with my monthly pass I travel around Columbus and surrounding areas and have been pleasantly surprised when I did not know about a location that I can get a quick wash from Marysville to Heath... I actually look forward to a car wash here. The level of service, convenience, and cleverness are all up to par. The stuffed cows lining the wash bay make me laugh. My son loves a trip through the barn-shaped car wash...then cries when it's over. The price is right for a "fat free" wash ($5) and there are upgrades available too. All levels include free unlimited time with the vacuums. There's always music going while you vacuum the interior. They got extra points in my book a few months ago when my car wouldn't start after a wash and an attendant helped me trouble-shoot, jump start, and even find a place to take it for a battery replacement. read more

If the car wash is busy, with the line stretching around the corner, almost to Broad Street, it is perfectly okay to come in from the other side (from Starbucks), and get in line ahead of everyone else. I was told this by an employee of the car wash. Why wait for 10 or 15 minutes like all those losers? And, as a bonus, if anyone thinks you are wrong and is mean to you, the car wash will give you a coupon, too. No wait AND a free car wash? Awesome! Today I had a really bad experience at the moo moo on broad. When my car went through the wash, it seemed to be moving really quickly. When I exited, my car was still very dirty. A gentleman vacuuming his car next to me said " our cars are still dirty, that thing was moving fast.... " I took a second trip through the wash, I alerted the agent that our cars were still dirty and the wash seemed to be moving quickly. He shrugged his shoulders and have me a blank look. This location is hit or miss on service. The time before last I only got two out of the four tires shined?!? Thankfully this time I got all four shined. Would help with the bugs on the front end if they would stub it a little before heading into the car wash but I guess that is the difference with googoo. I went to get a wash today since my car was so disgusting from driving to Atlanta the previous weekend. I got my usual $9 wash. I went through and noticed my car wasn't completely clean. The manager caught it and told me to go through again. Not only did I get a free wash, but they scrubbed the car completely! It may not be a major thing to most people, but I value the little things. I got the $15 car wash. While it did get the bird crap off the car, it didn't get all of the bug guts off of the front windshield. The rest of the car looked good after the car wash. So, I got the $10 car wash. I had some sticky seeds fall on the car when I had to park outside. This place was recommended by a few people. Not only did not get off any of the seeds, it didn't get the bugs off either, and really didn't even wash about half the car. It didn't get the bugs off of the front bumper. It didn't wash behind the mirrors. It missed large sections of the sides of the car. read more
