They do a good job but it literally takes them an hour and a half to do a manicure, and they do not listen at all.

Went here today after reading yelp reviews-it is right down the street from where I live with on street parking. I was looking for a new place for gel manicure and pedicure as the woman I have used in the past and lived moved to Quincy. I called Friday afternoon for a Saturday morning appointment and was able to get one at 9:30. This place is clean and quiet,the prices are good and the young woman who my mani/pedi did a great job-including use of scrub and hot stone massage for a regular pedicure! This place is clean and I got a nice full set here last year. However, Ive been back here 4 times and each time they're too busy help me. ALL FOUR TIMES I was turned away. They don't inform you how long the wait will be or suggest a better time to come in. In fact they don't even take appointments. So who does get their nails done here? I can only be serviced if the stars are in alignment? The same two employees are there each time I've been in. I assume they're employees because based on the way I was turned away I'd be willing to bet that they don't own this place. In short if you want to run the VERY LIKELY possibility of being made to feel as if you're in inconvenience then this is the perfect place for you. This new nail salon in Brighton is a hidden gem. It's extremely clean and serene, and the nail technicians really take a lot of time to do the best job possible. The pedicure seats have the latest technology to make it the most sanitary experience possible, which is really refreshing. I love that the place hasn't been discovered yet, because it's so peaceful now, but on the other hand, I really want the owners to get more business so they can stay open. read more

I've been to my fair share of nail salons in the Allston/Brighton area, but Yes! nails is hands-down the best. The salon is clean, the staff are friendly and professional, and it usually isn't overly crowded (why, I have no idea). One thing that you can't expect here- very quick service. The staff certainly aren't slow, but they're perfectionists and they take their time! If they spot an imperfection in their work, they stop and fix it, even redoing the whole nail. Most places in this area WONT do that; they'll do mediocre work and send you on your way, hoping you won't notice. read more

Outstanding work. I had a pedicure and full set of acrylic nails. Both were done beautifully. The pedicure came with a nice massage of the lower legs. The acrylic nails look natural. Because the work was done so carefully; it took a while - more than an hour. read more

I'm not big on reviews and everyone has their own experience, so I always tell folks to take reviews lightly. I've been looking around for a good nail salon that's convenient but also worth it and with good service. I get pedicures oftennnn to the point where I know what a pedicure entails. This place is right near my home but I won't be returning. Staff were ok, not as welcoming to new customers, but nice. As for the pedicure, they didn't use any product when cleaning my nails the way other salons do (like cuticle lotion for example). They don't clean/scrub thoroughly and seem to rush the process. Maybe a manicure is different. Also, they don't lotion or massage your feet! They use hot stones are your legs, but i think you can live without this. I asked if they massage, they said no. And they don't put lotion either! They didn't even put a top coat after 2 layers of regular polish! I didn't understand. Lol..... did they forget? Maybe? Did they not like me..... I guess!
