Thomas Debelak was so nice, knowledgeable, and patient with us. We test drove a Passport, but decided that wouldn't work for us. We felt badly about taking up so much of Thomas' time. But, he never made us feel like we were a burden. After the way Thomas treated us, we knew we wanted to buy our next vehicle from him. We went back the next day and after looking at several more vehicles and doing another test drive, we purchased a new Ridgeline. Thomas and Dave Horner made the experience very pleasant. Long story short they told me due to an insurance/VIN error my vehicle was only worth around $4000 , they said it wasn't worth buying out and the manager himself said they'll just be sending the car to auction rather than trying to deal with the VIN issue because it would be a headache ... Ohh but I happen to look online and they're now selling that same vehicle for $23,000 !!! One second they're telling me it's basically a lemon that they didn't even want to touch BUT NOW they're selling it above market ??? They didn't expect me to want to buy out my lease , they then pulled out this weird scare tactic to convince me the car is practically worthless in the attempt to get me in another lease , now sell my used car , and continuing to profit from me. Service Center BROKE my vehicle. Now they're GHOSTING me. For awhile the service center was good enough. I spent thousands on maintenance, repairs and parts over the past four years. Heck, I even bought a vehicle there. Somethings changed. Now, they've lost me forever. August 2025: Vehicle went in for annual inspection. The vehicle was returned to me leaking oil. They made one attempt to fix it but the leak persists. Now my drive was huge oil spots. The vehicle sits in the driveway, broken. Moon Honda won't return my calls. Won't return my emails. Somehow it gets worse. On the same day, I had a second vehicle in for inspection and they tried to price gouge me on a repair quoting me more than DOUBLE than what another garage charges. Nov 22 i bought a "Certified Pre Owned" 2019 type r from Moon Honda, the car had less than 19k miles on the dash for $40k. I have had nothing but problems with the car since i got it, it has a audible strong rpm dependent vibrationey grinding feeling that can be felt under your feet in the floor, gas pedal, and steering wheel. it was in there shop 3 times and although they were able to replicate it they were unable to figure out the issue and referred me to take the car to another dealer for service as there techs were incapable. This was direct from the service managers mouth. I proceeded to take the car to the other dealer who has graciously assisted me in attempting repair the car under the certified pre owned Honda warranty. unfortunately they have replaced so many parts at this point trying to repair the car they've exhausted their options. After over a year of the car being in and out of the shop, 100s of hours of my time wasted trying to get this fixed I call the service manager at moon Honda and basically was told to kick rocks. They also failed to disclose the vehicle was in a collision. The vehicle even had the body parts replaced by another Honda dealer. After using this dealership for over 30 years for purchasing cars and servicing them, I have finally been left with no choice but to leave this review. After experiencing some engine trouble with multiple dash lights coming on, I had my vehicle towed to Moon Honda for service as a drop off, since I did not feel comfortable driving it with the engine light on. When I called the next morning to verify that they had the vehicle, and if they could provide me with a time frame so that I could get a loaner or rent a car , the woman I spoke to was very rude and dismissive, telling me that some one would be in touch with me. I waited for 8 hours, attempting to call the service department multiple time with no one picking up the phone. My car sat there from Monday to Thursday, when they finally determined that it was carbon buildup in the valves. After they completed the service for over $800 dollars, I pickup up the car with no explanation why it took until Thursday to do, except that they were very busy. My car drove adequately until the following Sunday, when all the lights came on again, and the battery wasn't turning over. I was able to start the car and drive carefully to an auto parts store to get a new battery, which the nice young man installed for me. After the battery was installed , everything seem ok. Until the next morning, when driving to work, all the dash lights came on again. I had to be at work, so it sat in the parking lot until I was done with work. With an attempt to drive my car home, the car lost power and was only able to be driven about 10 MPH. I called for a tow truck, left a message with the dealership (this was on Memorial Day and they were closed). When the tow driver came, he ran a diagnostic tool which reported the same issue I was initially having. He did something, and the lights were off and the car was drivable. I returned home, and parked the car in the garage for the night. The next day, when I started my car, the same lights came on and the engine was running very roughly. I chose not to drive the car to work, and had to take an Uber. My car is now waiting to be towed to another service station, with hopes that they problem will be resolved. My interactions with Moon Honda via phone, text, and email were not helpful, nothing was resolved. The service advisor John was helpful and polite, but I don't feel that taking my car back there for service was a wise choice. I have attempted to reach the service manager, who ignored my calls and never reached out to me. Overall, the experience was very stressful and expensive, and I am very dissatisfied with the service. I feel that there was no attempt to listen to my needs or resolve my issues , but everyone was more concerned about how busy and overbooked they were . No one was willing to give me the simple answer of how long they estimated the wait time would be so that I could rent a vehicle to get to work. I am now out $800 for a service that did nothing, the cost of the rental car for 3 days, the cost of a new battery, the cost of towing my vehicle to the service department, and multiple Uber rides to get to work and the car rental place. The most upsetting thing is that the service manager, who should be taking care of these issues was nowhere to be found. I have already made the decision to take my car to a trustworthy mechanic, not affiliated with Honda, and will never use Moon Honda again for service or to purchase a vehicle. read more

My AC stopped working on my 2016 Civic and was only blowing hot air. Took it in and they told me they had to charge me for the AC recharge (200$) but they put in dye to check for leaks. 4 weeks later, AC died again, took it back. This time they found the leaks and told me it was not covered under the Honda Care warranty because it was punctured by insects and it would cost me 3grand to fix. That is right... bug impacts. They told me this with a straight face. I got VERY angry, a manager came out and told me that it would be covered by the warranty and they will fix it. 4 weeks later, AC died again, took it back. Was told that the tech forgot an o-ring that was needed. they charged it again. 4 weeks later, AC died again. Took it to different service center almost 45mins out of my way to get it fixed. This place is nothing but a rip off center. They will find any loop hole they can to get out of warranty work and lie straight to your face. Had to call Honda USA to get a refund for the original charge AND found out that the AC units have their own warranty separate from any other because HONDA KNEW OF THE ISSUE WITH THE AC SYSTEMS!! as a matter of fact, it was so bad they where on back order with them!!! However, when I walked into Moon Township Honda, my sales consultant (Haley) greeted me and listened to my needs. She was very friendly and answered all my questions. The car I was interested in was reasonably priced and met my expectations. Even when I needed to leave to get lunch to make my final decision, Haley was very supportive and was available via text for any questions. While on lunch, I knew I wanted to purchase the car so when I returned to purchase the car Haley helped me through the final stages. The finance officer (Ratana) was also very friendly and explained everything clearly and answered follow up questions I had. Just got the State Safety Inspection. The Representatives were courteous and helpful. Free coffee wasn't bad. I had an 8:30am appointment and there were a lot of people already in the waiting room when I got there. I don't know how many people were scheduled between 8 and 8:30 but it seemed like a lot. My car passed inspection and no other maintenance was suggested. It did seem like it took too long for the inspection because I didn't get my car back until 10:30. It was nice that a fella took my keys from me and brought my car right up to the front door. read more

This is completely unacceptable and I will not be going back to Moon Honda. When the lady brought me my bill I told her how I felt and she stated that people book online and call for appointments and a lot of times they are double booked. Do not ever use this place for service! I brought my mother's Fit in for the airbag recall, and thought i should go ahead and get it inspected, since it was due. Dropped the car off in the morning and caught their shuttle to work. they called a little after lunch and tried to tell me that the brake pads were 'stuck' in their brackets - and they would have to remove, clean and lube them, and reinstall. this would be $90. I said 'are the pads still serviceable to pass inspection?', they said 'yes' -- so i said go inspect it then. The person calling said they couldn't do the inspection without doing this; so I said 'well put it back together and i'll take it to a real garage', to which they curtly cut the call off, and then called two hours later to say the car was done. In PA, the safety inspection includes visually inspecting the brake lining and rotor or drum to ensure it has enough lining, and parts are not too worn -- and if the brakes were stuck in their brackets, they frankly would not work (if you know anything about brakes) Best part, they refused to inspect the car (and i refused to pay); and they messed around with every control in the car, changing the radio stations and climate control settings and steering wheel -- as if they were a bunch or pre-schoolers! I would advise anyone to stay far away from this place. read more

Moon Honda charged us for a new battery and when it failed again, they told us that sometimes new batteries have bad cells, bring it back and they will replace it. As we left it off, we took pictures and showed them the rust on the nut and bolt and dirty battery proving the bracket had not been removed to replace anything. I can't say I bought a car here, or even had one serviced, but I can say I never will. Strike 1 was being largely ignored walking on the lot for 15 minutes. Normally you get ambushed immediately but I circled the lot a couple of times examining cars and window stickers without anyone even coming outside. They finally did as I was about to leave. I was asked if I was doing okay, and I replied I was, and I was really curious about a couple of cars. The salesman didn't reply and just kind of started to walk away. So I asked what happened to the new green coupe they had, trying to show some more interest. He just said he thought it sold and turned around and walked back inside. Strike 2 was how my complaint about that was handled, or ignored rather. I emailed the general manager and explained the above situation. Never got any reply of any sort. Strike 3 was dealing with the internet quoting. I was pretty annoyed already, but this place is right around the corner, and every other store is about 30 minutes away. So I sent a request on a car on their lot saying I'd be interested in driving it and potentially ordering a specific version with some extra accessories. I got a quote for the one on the lot, but was told they only have what's there. I would think they'd try to get me in for a drive at least, ask what I wanted and try to get me in the one they have, or try to find one they could transfer - I know dealerships do this. My wife bought an SUV in Indianapolis, and they sent a guy to Louisville on the spot to get the color she wanted. It was a base model and she had an employee discount from her grandfather too. This is my second time taking my car here for an oil change. The first time I came in they were quick and I was in and out. I took it on my lunch break and worked from their waiting room - overall it wasn't a bad experience for ~$35. They wanted to charge me $70 at the other place I took it too. Second time I came back they took 20 minutes longer than they estimated. I wouldn't have had much t say about it except for the fact I told them I was on my lunch break and they assured me it would be done. Both times when they were telling me what they did and what I "needed". They try to sell you on the extra services like any other place. Overall average experience. Nothing remarkable. Customer service wasn't very great though. Guys in the garage at the front desk seemed pretty miserable. read more

Purchased a certified Accord from here. Within 6 months had to replace all 4 tires, front brakes and the battery. Recently both the rear view and side view camera stopped working. Called the service department and of course they wouldn't do anything for me because my warranty was expired even though my car was certified and shouldn't have had to undergone all the other repairs I needed to do in the first place. $1000 in repairs to a certified vehicle in the first six months and they won't even look at my broken cameras without a fee. This place is the worst, I would give it no stars if possible. Do not buy or get service here, it will cost you a lot more money than the sticker price. read more

DO NO GIVE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT YOUR BUSINESS I recently took my 2014 Honda Accord here for a simple recall on the battery terminal caps. Once I left the premises, the service department called me and tried to convince me that my battery was dead and I needed a new one. A new battery costs about $150. I have never had trouble starting my car so I told them to jump the car and leave it running because I was suspicious of the situation. When I picked up my car, I drove a half a mile up the road to Auto Zone and had them test my battery. At Auto Zone, my battery ready full voltage and a 100% charge. No issue whatsoever! My experience with the dealer was terrible. I called before I went in and asked how long an oil change would take. The service employee said it would take an hour and 15 minutes, tops. I waited one hour and 30 minutes before the service was completed. Fifteen minutes is not long but I had places to go. I felt that my service employee had an attitude with me and no one apologized to me. Also when I got in the car I noticed that the internal accessories were damaged. These people in the service department are totally and un-naturally inventive with their lies and not knowledgeable about anything automotive. The answers and excuses they come up with are unbelievable. I wonder if they practice saying them in front of a mirror so they wouldn't laugh as they said it. I called ahead and made an appointment to bring in my ridgeline in for front wheel bearings. I got a price quote from them. Got there Friday morning early, the price went up $50 because the tech had to test drive my truck to determine whether or not it needs bearings. I told him I just wanted new bearings installed put them in. Well he didn't like that. I should have left but I didn't want to install them myself. They told me it would take most of the day to do it. Then they called in the afternoon and said it needed bearings I said I know I told you to install them. He said it would be Monday before they could do it. Why? because they don't have that bearing in stock. Ok, they called me on monday afternoon and said your truck is ready but we couldn't do the left side I said why? he said it's got rust on the wheel bearing retaining nut. Oh I see the truck is 12 years old, this is Pittsburgh, I figured there was going to be some rust. So I brought my truck home and went to napa got a bearing, one third the price of Honda. Installed it myself. now I'm replacing my front axles, my truck has pretty much sat in the driveway since I got it back from Honda. Anyway I started on the right side "the side they could change" and low and behold they never changed that bearing. How do I know? 45 years heavy equipment mechanic, that's how I know. A bearing doesn't get deep pitting rust this quickly. It takes years. I called and asked why I never got my old bearing when I picked up my truck. I was told they had to keep it for the core? charge?.Outright lie. so I paid them close to $400.00 to keep my truck over the weekend. And never even did the work. Some parts have a core charges because they can easily be rebuilt, not bearings they get thrown away. When they wear out the whole part wears out. Their mothers must be so proud. So happy they don't run an ambulance service. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. The sales people promise you the world, but don't even try to get a vehicle serviced. Two hours plus for an oil change, ignorant and RUDE service people who don't give a crap about you or your time, and if you drop your car off for a repair, you get pushed to the end of the line if it's warranty work. They do not provide loaner cars either, and they speak to customers in the most condescending manner. My 2014 Accord has been a piece of crap from day 1. This is the 3rd time in the shop for the same issue with the drivers side window and with only 60k miles on it there's something wrong with the rear end. I will NEVER buy another Honda, but I will also NEVER buy any brand vehicle from the Falconi Group. They all suck. read more

BIG shout-out to Ross Lobello of the service dept. I drove into the service department this morning without an appointment. A drawer in the front console of my Honda Odyssey was severely stuck (phone charger lodged) and couldn't be opened more than an inch. Ross came over took a look and immediately began working on the problem. Our options looked quite limited (break the drawer open or have the console opened $$$) Ross kept trying to get it open, including opening access panels, trying to dislodge the phone charger, taking off the front panel of the drawer, etc. FINALLY, he got it opened-much to my extreme delight! Kudos to Ross and for taking the time and dedication to solve my problem! Thank you! read more

Stopped in service area late pm; my 2017 Honda Civic had low tire pressure light. Stood there a couple min w/no help; finally short blonde lady at last counter asked if I needed help. clearly it was quitting time; slumped posture at desk. Ok, so I explained I had low tire pressure light on, I'd taken it to Honda in Wexford earlier in day; they added air, light went off. When driving home, light reappeared, thus i stopped on way home at moon dealership. granted I didn't buy my car in moon but in Wexford. When I said that, this lady went "uh huh" & "oh ok" ... tuned me out, as I had to again repeat they put air in, reset/recalibrated it. then she says well everyone is gone for day... that was ok with me; I understand. BUT and here's the bizarre part-... while talking, she walked around my new car "tap tap"; and "rap rap tap" using her knuckles on various outside spots on my new car! THAT was odd; then said come back tomorrow, "tap tap " and "tap tap" knuckles rapping randomly on my paint job! Who wants a person tapping on ur NEW paint/new car? Not me! Geez. I WON'T be going there ever again. I had an old Honda prior to buying this new one, I never liked moon Honda on previous visits. They haven't changed. Stay away. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. My Honda has less than 11k miles on it and the tires are shot. I called Honda and they said I had to call Firestone so I did. Firestone gave me a new set of tires for 50 percent off but they also did an alignment check. The front alignment was OK but the back was off and there is no adjustment for the back so Firestone recommended I go back to Honda. So I went to this Honda service department and showed them the printout from Firestone. I was informed that they would have to double check the alignment before they could do anything and had me make another appointment to bring the car in. When I took the car back to Honda service I was THEN informed that I would have to PAY for the alignment check. They refused to contact Honda about the problem. I was never informed there would be any charge when I made the appointment. The so-called Service Manager was rude and uncaring. He told me he could not do anything until I paid for an alignment. When I asked what he would do if it proved that the first alignment was correct, he didn't have an answer. He also told me that I may have hit a pothole that did not affect the adjustable front alignment, but only affected the non-adjustable rear alignment. Also the alleged pothole did not hurt the tire or rim. Sound like BS? P.S. This brand new car also had the battery go dead 3 times for no obvious reason (had to call road service). You have been warned.. Don't buy a Honda and especially stay away from this Dealer for your service. read more

My Honda Fit's axle broke while I was out of the country and my friend was borrowing my car. She had it towed to the nearest place that would work on a Honda, which turned out to be Falconi Moon Honda. I didn't have a working phone where I was, so communication was sporadic. They called her twice a day every day. When I finally was able to check email, I told her to go ahead and tell them to fix the car. She did. They now called twice a day to ask for payment. She said I'd pay when I picked up the car in a week. They kept calling, asking if I was back yet, in spite of her telling them the exact date I would return and pick up the car. Worse, it cost more than $900 for them to fix it. A new axle is $600ish in parts, so that is $300+ in labor. My second front axle just broke, and I brought my car to Franklin Auto in Ohio Township. $300 to replace the axle, replace a headlight bulb, and give the car an oil change to boot. Granted, the replacement axle was aftermarket this time and cost $200. But that still means that Falconi charged me *three times* as much in labor. Total rip off. These guys are annoying, unhelpful, and overpriced. read more

I recently had 2 sensors on my car repaired at Moon Township Honda. Every employee I encountered was mean, rude, and demeaning. They threw in extra fees, extra time charges for labor, and did not even try to treat me like a human being. In-particular, Steve was arrogant and rude to me and my family members. Every question I politely asked he gave me a short answer and acted annoyed that I was even inquiring about the repairs. I have to wonder if this man has a daughter or son who he would like treated how he treats his customers. I HIGHLY suggest that you NEVER take your car to this place or buy a car from the dealer.
