This is the cutest little place in Cobble Hill - I loved the menu options and the set up inside. It is super small, and has max like 3 seating options but it's so adorable!! The two ladies working were so sweet and helpful, I felt like I was at home being fed by my family. The soondubu was super yummy, would 100% come back here!

On a gorgeous day in November, it was such a treat to stroll upon a new Korean spot in the hood. It's super tiny and likely set for takeout, but there was a nice table outside and with the unusually high temperatures my wife and I decided to stop for lunch. and there was a small menu with some usual favorites in the Korean cuisine. Service was quick and friendly and you'll love the fresh vegetables and flavors served up. Whit had a Japchae (which did come with sticky rice too) and I had the Nuloongji Bibimbap. The crispy rice bottom was just right and when mixed up with spicy Gochujang sauce. We also shared a refreshing Lime Rickey to drink. Check them out and you'll be in for a great treat.

Two lovely ladies were working behind the counter took my order and that of my neighbor. I asked about gluten free options and one went through options with me. I had the Big Norm Bibimbap (the sauce adds a nice punch though you can choose how much to add) and the Kakult Fruit Juice in kiwi. Both were absolutely fantastic. -- We ate at the small wall/counter on the side of the place. It's more of a take-out place than sit down option. The food was fresh and was made with care -- I cannot wait to order other things on the menu for my family. Yay!

Ordered Uber eats and it came nicely packaged. Everything arrived safely despite me ordering tofu soup and a drink. I got the soondubu which was really flavorful and perfect for the rainy day. It was a bit salty but the flavor was so good I didn't really mind. I had anchovies on the side too - $4 felt a bit steep but I'd get it again because they paired really well with the rice and tofu soup. I also got a fizzy drink called Lemonade BigNorm Sparkles and it was really good! I'd be interested in trying this place in person in the future. Good experience overall :)

Welcome to the neighborhood! We finally have a real deal korean comfort food spot in south Brooklyn. This gem jumped onto the scene not long ago. Filling a small storefront I worry they will out grow very quickly. Some counter seating and one outdoor spot. But really it is a grab and go joint. Simple clean interior. Simple menu with Korean comfort staples. The staff is friendly and helpful. Service is fast and the food is out of this world. Best kimchi jjigae I have had since Seoul. Will be back to try all the other delicious options.

Since I was staying in Brooklyn for work, Haenyeo was an easy choice for a date night dinner. We went on a Thursday evening around 8pm. We didn't have a reservation but were seated immediately without a wait. The restaurant was fairly busy; if you're planning ahead I would consider making a reservation. We started with an order of the Japchae. Then we ordered the Bibimbop with chicken and the Bulgogi. The Japchae was underwhelming. Not a strong flavor profile, leaned sort of bland. The entrees were much better. The rice in the Bibimbop had a really yummy crispy layer. When all mixed together, it's a great melody of flavors and textures. The Bulgogi was equally enjoyable. Definitely recommend the red spicy sauce it comes with. We shared both entrees among 2 people and felt the portions sizes were decent - neither left hungry. The service was okay. We didn't seem to have a dedicated server. It felt like all the wait staff takes care of everyone simultaneously? Everyone was friendly; there was just a long wait for someone to come for our food order. If you're looking for an authentic experience with Korean food, this may be the spot for you.

I wouldn't necessarily venture a long distance for this place, but I live within a 10 minute drive and will definitely be back. Ambiance is casual. I had a reservation for 4 people, but it wasn't too busy so walk ins are probably welcomed. Food: not too many options for ban chan, but what was offered was good and unlimited. I shared the below among 4 people and enjoyed everything and it was plenty of food. -Kimbap: spicy tuna. Comes with 10 hearty pieces. Great to share. -Korean Style Chicken Wings: good crunch and flavor. Not greasy. -Mandu: hard to go wrong with deep fried dumplings. Not greasy. Flavorful. -Hot Stone Bibimbap: with bulgogi. Very squishy and the sauce was rich with some potatoes and pork mixed in. I really liked the dish and you can't find it all that many places. The hot stone bibimbap was great, I wish the bulgogi had a little more flavor but overall enjoyed it. I also tried the kalbi tang soup, which had a very nice nourishing broth and chunks of meat. If the flavors had been turned up a notch and the meat cooked a little less, it'd be 5 stars.

Seating is a little small, so any parties of 4 or larger probably require a reservation. The food came out fairly quickly. We ordered the Tteokbokki. The dish was purposely cooked to be crispier than what you would normally expect, it was very delicious. The jjapaguri was flavorful and the meat and seafood was great. The main course of crab fried rice was amazing. Poured over a sizzling pan, the waiter made sure we had time to get our phones ready. The dish stirred and seasoned well and had a nice fresh taste. Our dessert was black bean and vanilla, which was refreshing and a generous quantity. Overall, our experience here was amazing and would recommend for anyone wanting high class Korean fair.

Happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised! Almost everything we ordered was delicious! Both Korean Fried Chicken orders had good flavor and great for sharing. I rarely see Soy Ginger as an option (usually it's Soy Garlic) but I like the slight sharpness it added to each bite. The Seafood Pancake was crispy, loaded with seafood, and paired nicely with the ponzu. The Slow Loris Roll was incredible! The rice ratio was just right, there was a good variety of fish and it was all fresh, the avocado and sauces added nice creaminess, and torching the roll was the cherry on top. The Spicy Bulgogi Fried Rice with Cheese was super savory, the sunnyside egg was cooked perfectly, and the portion was solid. I didn't care for the cheese and honestly could've done without and not noticed. It did need something to cut through the richness. I did enjoy the Beef Galbi much more! It is brought to the table sizzling and smelling amazing. It's savory, sweet, and smoky. I like that it's paired with kimchi & rice making this is complete meal. All in all, I was impressed with everything here! We were also a large party (7 people) yet everything was served correctly and in a timely fashion. Definitely recommend stopping by!
