Hot matcha latte with almond milk
    Gina K.

I drink a lot of matcha! It's my go to morning drink and have never been able to find a restaurant or cafe that makes one as good as I had in Japan, until NOW!!!! The matcha latte was spot on! Most matcha lattes in the US use too much milk but Moonflower has the perfect ratio. The location on Colfax is bit noisy, but the large outdoor space is great. A lot of dogs and a line of people out the door the entire time I was there, so you know it must be good. It is in an old gas station, with no signage that states Moonflower so, you can likely miss it. It seems like they are trying to make continuous improvements. Since it is an old gas station the bathrooms are on the outside and you need a key to access them. The have been remodeled and are very clean. I will definitely be going back to grab a perfectly made matcha latte!

The lemon matcha alone is worth the trip--bright, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with just the right citrus kick. It seriously hit the spot and felt like the kind of drink you keep thinking about after you leave. I've been hearing about this place ever since I moved to Colorado, and I finally made my way over--and it didn't disappoint. From the outside, it almost looks like a converted old gas station, which adds to its charm but definitely had me double-checking my GPS to make sure I was in the right place. Parking is a bit limited with a small lot out front plus some street options, but once you're in, the vibe makes up for it. There's a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating--benches outside, plus a cozy setup inside with couches and tables. It leans very work-from-home friendly, with lots of people on laptops but still a relaxed, welcoming feel. Their menu has a solid selection of matcha, coffee, and baked goods, but the lemon matcha completely stole the show for me. Pair that with the calm noise level (perfect for reading or getting some work done), and it's an easy spot to settle into for a while.

I am not exaggerating when I say I had the best latte of my life at this spot. The lemon matcha with lemon cold foam off of their spring menu is to die for. I really had to stop myself from just slurping the whole thing down. It's probably a good thing for my wallet that I don't live super close to here because I would go here all the time. I also recently did the strawberry fields matcha with lemon cold foam, and that was also incredible. Their breakfast burritos are also delicious. The vibes and decor here are unmatched, and it always seems to be busy here. It definitely is worth the wait in line!

Cute lil spot on colfax. Has garage doors that open up and patio seating as well. Friendly staff, creative drinks, nice vibes. Some pastries for sale too.

The line was long but for good reason. Fun, delicious drinks including matcha and ube lattes. They also have unique rotating/seasonal flavor drinks. There is limited food and some pastries as well. The staff was friendly and whipping out drinks. So much indoor and outdoor seating - great spot to get some rays and catch up with a friend over a delicious drink!

This place is so cuuteeeeee! I got a hot oat ube latte and loved that I didn't have to pay any extra for alternative milk. The latte art was spot on too. I had a really nice cup to look at! There's a pretty spacious outdoor spot with picnic tables and lots of people bringing their dogs. We just managed to miss the morning rush by being here around 8:45 am on a Sunday. They had a breakfast burritos table outside and I appreciated the variety of breakfast items I had access to!

Moonflower Coffee has taken the entire space of this former gas station. When I was last here it had a much smaller counter and was a bit rustic. Now the space is very inviting with multiple tables, a counter, cushy chairs & couches plus picnic tables outside. I noticed quite a few people on laptops and a few actually reading books & magazines. They offer mostly coffee + matcha and chai lattes + hot tea. Pastries are available. I learned they have weekend food trucks parked in their dirt yard which has a metal fence around it. I got a Spring menu beverage, an iced Lemon Matcha with an Oat Lemon Foam on top. Very good.

Can't recommend this spot enough! Vintage meets industrial with the seemingly antique thrifted items scattered around, the garage door outlooks a cute patio space. A wonderful place to get some studies or work done. The Ube latte is a must-have, hot or iced! The staff here are all smiles and dwindle the line down quickly.

Was really struggling to stay awake today, and luckily happened to be near Moonflower for a pick me up! They have the best ube lattes. Good flavor but not too sweet. I tried it iced this time, but I think I prefer it hot. I can't comment on the other drinks because the ube latte is so good I never order anything else haha, but I'm sure they have other tasty beverages. Service is very friendly too. It's a converted gas station with cool kitschy decor and a nice patio area and small parking lot with adjacent street parking. It's just hard to visit as often as I'd like since they close relatively early.

I ordered the ube latte, and it was fantabulous to the last drop. The ambience was lovely, and the baristas were super friendly.

One of my favorite Denver coffee shops! This place is so cute and the coffee is always really good. I've tried classic drinks and their speciality and haven't been disappointed. The sesame in many of their drinks is such a clever addition that gives a depth of flavor without overpowering. The staff is also very kind and welcoming. This is a regular spot for sure!

Cute coffee shop with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great spot to meet with friends, for a meeting, work at, solo coffee date, or pick up and take to go. They always have a good selection of pastries and seasonal drinks also. Great coffee and service is good.

it was super busy when we got here, but the line and service moved quickly! i'd highly recommend my order: iced oat milk latte + miso caramel syrup. it was phenomenal! i tried the matcha drink as a big matcha fan and it was quite below average. i also felt like the prices were a bit steep considering the sizes of the drinks. but milk substitutions were free!

Their seasoning of the eggs in the sandwich is perfection, and the bacon, sausage, spinach, melted cheese, and the crisp English muffin are all cooked perfectly to complement the egg. The service was OK unfortunately we got there towards the end. I think we had about 30 minutes and we told them when we came in. We just wanted coffee and to use the restroom which to be fair wasn't really that impressive to them. We were definitely not intending to stay long. We really just needed to use the facilities and you have to buy something in order to use them. My only thing is is I didn't need to be reminded every five minutes we sat by the door and left 10 minutes before it closed. But I guess also to be fair. Maybe other people don't do that. But it's worth giving it a shot! Latte was great.
