I unfortunately have to update my review . Boba here is still top notch. The last few times I've come here for donuts - not so much. All items with chocolate glaze have been tasting weird. The texture of their donuts changed as well - greasy and crumbly. Not sure why but it's a little disappointing! I assume it's a recipe change - please go back to how it used to be. read more

Loved how they're always kind and welcome me every time i go. i work at Daisy's tires (which is next door to them) and i go very frequently since i'll usually crave a donut, or the tire techs i work with want donuts and send me to buy some. Lady who works there (which i haven't gotten her name yet) always asks how i'm doing and if i'm there for a ham and cheese croissant with jalapeño, which is what i am usually there for. Very kind and sweet lady. Absolutely love her, personality and how she welcomes me. would give 10 stars if i could. Meh, I went there to get a few donuts for the family and they didn't have a huge selection. No white cake chocolate nuts, no crumb cake. Two of my favorites. I realize the cost of materials and food has gone up tremendously and therefore we're all paying higher prices and these donuts aren't cheap but tasted like they were made with artificial sweetener. The size of the donuts was relatively small. Now, I would be happy with a smaller than usual size donut if the quality was excellent but to have to pay for an artificial flavored, small donut wasn't worth it. read more

Typical service for a donut shop in the area... no greeting, waits for your order. We sampled a few items while passing through one Saturday morning... DONUT HOLES: Truthfully, wasn't expecting much, but these were quite yummy. Slight crisp to outside shell, nice glaze, and soft flaky interior. Good stuff! APPLE FRITTER: Outside is nicely crisp with many apple pieces in every bite. I enjoyed this. FRENCH CRULLER: Eh. Spongy. No crispness. I've had better. Decent donut option to consider when in or passing through Santa Paula. Good sized donuts. Prices are reasonable. Variety of drinks are also available to help wash these things down. read more

I haven't been to this shop in years. Right away I noticed the colorful donuts behind the glass. I got a sprinkles and buttermilk bar donut. I also got a cookies and cream boba with EASY boba. I don't know if it was a language barrier but I'm pretty sure she didn't understand me. I got a chunk of boba in every sip. Not what I was going for, to be honest! Come to find out you have to ASK for whipped cream (how would I know that?) and so the little young girl behind the counter added it for me. While the tips of her fingers got in my drink while doing so. Gah. I pray her hands were clean. Maybe I'll be back. Don't know yet. But good news is the Cookies & Cream boba is tasty! The consistency is weird though, kind of like it's half-melted even though she made it right in front of me. Haven't had Boba enough to know exactly how it's supposed to be? Discovered Moonlight Donuts by accident, as I originally wanted to find a place that sells strawberry banana smoothies. The reviews here seemed promising so my husband and I drove here to try it out. This donut shop has BY FAR the best boba smoothies. They use real fruits and it tastes AMAZING! The boba isn't too chewy or soggy, either - which is how I love it. We've tried the ham and cheese croissants, the donut holes, the oreo donut - just about everything and it's amazing. We've only gone during the early/late afternoon and it hasn't been too busy. My husband dropped by extremely early once in the morning and they seemed to be busy, so if you wanna try it out without feeling pressured or overwhelmed, definitely stop by when there's less of a crowd. Moonlight Donuts appears to be family-owned, and each time we've gone there's been a different worker. All are extremely nice and accommodating! Would recommend. read more

Wow, pretty damn good! I had seen a few check ins from my friends so stopped into to see what's going down. Great selection of donuts and croissants with a subtle tweek on classics. Great flavor and very soft. I did notice that there a couple of not so savory reviews. 1. Cookies and creme Boba..that stuff is awesome! I haven't tried the other options but this one is definitely one of my favorites already. 2.
