Solid Starbucks location. We stopped in here each morning on a recent trip to work/visit the California Strawberry Festival at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Wish my mobile app worked correctly, but that's a separate issue. We were still able to drive through and use the mobile app. The baristas were friendly and our drinks were perfectly made each time. Food was hot and delicious when we ordered it as well. The next time we stay in the area, we are most definitely stopping back to this spot. read more

Have never left a bad review on here before. I'm a Starbucks fanatic, drink it every day. Just moved back to SP from Simi. This Starbucks has the worst service I have ever experienced at a store. Service - I've experienced sitting at the DT order box for minutes without someone greeting me. I had to prompt them to remind them I was there. Just today, I experienced being at the DT window for at least a full 2-3 mins before anyone acknowledged me. Once I was, they didn't know my name or my order. (I placed a mobile 10 mins prior) Time - DT line takes 15+ mins, minimum. Despite length of line. Lack of urgency - See all above. Employers inside appear to be frazzled, confused, careless, or all of the above. Cleanliness - Abysmal. Area outside DT window is dirty and appears unprofessional. DT windows are dusty and dirty. I used to be a director of drive thru operations for a fast food chain, so I am sure I look at details more than most. Nonetheless, given the reviews before me, it seems I'm not the only one noticing. Something needs to change ASAP. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this has become a consistent issue at this Starbucks. Every time I place a mobile order with multiple drinks, I'm left waiting much longer than necessary. Instead of making the drinks for the same order together, they make one drink and then the next drink doesn't come out until 10 or more minutes later. I end up receiving my drinks at completely different times, even though they were ordered together. It defeats the purpose of using the mobile app for convenience. I understand that it gets busy, but this happens almost every time I order here. It would really help if the baristas completed all the drinks for the same mobile order before moving on to other orders. I hope management looks into improving the workflow because the wait times and lack of coordination are frustrating. read more

I want to give a big shoutout to Adrienne at this Starbucks. The store was absolutely packed today, and from what I could tell, one of the machines was even down. Even in the middle of all that, Adrienne kept a smile on her face and such a positive attitude. I come here often, and every time I see her, her energy and customer service are outstanding. Instead of just being quick to criticize (like so many people are these days), I think it's important to take a moment to acknowledge great service when we see it. What really stood out today was that after she got the line down, Adrienne quickly came outside to bring me my drink and then went right back on the register. That kind of work ethic, with a smile, is rare to see, especially in such a fast-paced environment. Adrienne is a true example of excellent customer service, and I hope she's recognized for the amazing job she's doing! read more

Dear Sal, while you are on vacation, your unfriendly, unprofessional staff were at their BEST!!!! While the heffe is away the homegirls will play...I went this morning and the homegirls that you have working keep the food on the other side of the counter on purpose without saying names!! So all the food piles on top and no one says that their food is ready!!! I asked for a refund from the useless shift manager, Christopher and he tried to say that I shouldn't be mad because their busy. This is the worst Starbucks! Unacceptable. I tried to go in at 9:22 pm but the doors were locked and employees were clearly trying to clean and close. A polite couple outside saw me and mentioned "they're supposed to be open until 10". I have never personally experienced something like this from such a reputable company. After reading the other one star reviews left, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. I hope something can be done to prevent this from happening again. read more

The service was beyond slow it took 20 minutes to get a grande cold brew. Management need to retrain how the spilt drive thru and walk in's.

Shoutout to that blonde girl with glasses who works here. You can tell she definitely knows what she's doing, and is a people person. She always makes me feel very welcomed, and warm when I go in there. Yesterday, I ordered a shaken espresso, and a turkey sandwich. The shaken espresso was not even filled up all the way and was mostly ice. The turkey sandwich was a bagel with what looked like an egg, and a small piece of bacon. I'm wondering if whoever took that order wasn't all there, or just straight up does not give a fuck about their job.lol. Anyway, besides the pleasant blonde girl with the glasses, and her amazing energy, this is my least favorite Starbucks location. Some of the staff there could use some better training/tips on how to interact with customers, because some staff there just don't even seem like they want to be there. I live in Santa Paula and this Starbucks used to be the one place I could go to get my favorite beverage and snack and genuine friendly smiles and atmosphere to lift up my day. After the close down for renovations, the place has gotten so bad that I now drive all the way to Ventura and bypass this one now. They are not very good at customer service now and the long wait times makes it difficult to justify going there now. Also the last two drinks I ordered were not very good. The morning drive-thru is great and the employees are very nice. I've noticed that the lattes and mochas have been very weak since they re-opened. All I'm tasting is milk in the lattes (yes, I know latte means milk) and the mocha is just kind of bland. I'm not getting that "coffee/espresso" jolt that I look forward to. Anyway, I hope it improves, because I'm not willing to pay for this much longer. I'll give it a couple more tries & that will be it. read more

I know it's odd to review a place such as this, as the staff usually changes and one would hope that receiving bad service would be just a fluke and the next visit would be better, right? One would hope? Yes this Starb is easy to get to, right off Palm Avenue exit on the 126. But regardless if I ordered through the drive-through, or went inside to order, the service these employees provide SUCKS. The last few bakery items I ordered were as stale as rocks (the lemon loaf most recently) and I've never been impressed with this Starb's cake pops either. My most recent visit was in the drive-through, ordered a pure frapp. I asked numerous times, "This is pure, right?" - the young man at the window barely eeked a response to me. No greeting, nothing. And when he gave me the drink I asked my question again: Yes, it was pure he said. You know where I'm going with this, right? I took a sip as he got my change and in fact it had coffee. He must have figured out the error right as I did because I handed him my drink back right as he was reaching for it. I didn't hear one WORD from the kid. No sorry, oops, let me fix that of course, NOTHING. I got my drink and drove away. It fully amazes me how these retail places focus on CUSTOMER SERVICE CUSTOMER SERVICE, and yet treat customers in such a rude and gross manner. Not again. Would not recommend this Starb at any cost. If you must have a drink/coffee, go to Vons and use that location instead. read more

I am very disappointed. I used to like coming here cause they would get my order on time and a result of the friendly staff. Today, my order was incorrect. I asked for a banana nut bread loaf and I was given a pumpkin spice loaf. How did that happen? They don't sound alike. Also, I was also given the coffee regular instead of decaf. Convenient location in Santa Paula near the 126 highway. Long and narrow, with a drive-thru lane and fresh architecture, it was a happy sight when I turned on to Palm Avenue. We made a stop to use the restroom, and order a beverage for their latest promotion. The interior was not crowded, and we decided to hang out for a little bit. Free Wi-Fi afforded me a chance to catch up on a few Yelp posts. Our order came out very quickly, but they also weren't crowded at around 6:30 on a Saturday evening. There were maybe 8 to 10 people using a long communal table to study or work at one side of the main room. They have two unisex bathrooms in back. The one I was in could have used a clean up. Otherwise, the main room seemed reasonably clean, and the cases were well stocked with baked goods and foods packed to go. It's the ubiquitous chain of our era, for sure. Dear Hubby and I like their newer locations for the fresh architecture and the variety of light bites available throughout the day. This location fit the bill, and then we were back on the road. read more

The barista was very friendly, probably one of the nicest baristas I've had lately. So 5 stars on the customer service (much appreciated). We ordered 4 drinks (3 americanos and 1 caramel macchiato). The americanos were all made perfectly. The caramel macchiato was slightly burnt, but not terrible. Overall, very happy with this Starbucks - the service was fast, friendly, and drinks were good. We were looking to try something new when Fran gave an excellent recommendation for the Tall Blonde vanilla latte. :) Tonight the place is filled with study groups, families a busy drive through and patio happenings. Proud to say this store has stepped up its game in the last 6 months and it's evident! Clean, accurate orders and top notch customer service. Pretty upset, this is the main Starbucks I go to. I have had them mess up on my orders before but it was never really worth complaining. However, after the same mistake being repeated countless times, this one really upset me. Specially because we ordered 2 of the same drinks. This location needs to work on their drive thru line. The location has customers line up on a main thoroufare road(Palm Ave.) Exposing customers to being rear ended. When one tries to manuever and line up in the parking lot on either side of Jack in the box, Starbucks makes you line up in the road. If you dont want to possibly be rear ended. I would go to the vons starbucks instead. read more
