This past Monday I was craving pizza and decided to place an order to go here for their lunch special and it was a good deal. For $13 bucks you get a personal pizza with two toppings, a small salad and a drink. After placing my order I was told my order would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I got there in 12 minutes and they were pulling it out of the oven as I was walking in. Service here was on point. Good portion of food considering the lunch special. The pizza was of good quality and tasty. Very thin pizza crust. Salad was also good and fresh. Overall I really did like this place and would definitely come back again. We came since it had good reviews. The lemon pepper wings were finger licking good, I'm still thinking of them. Pizza was good but we made our own with sausage and olives. We should have ordered one from their menu. I liked the pizza but my boyfriend said it needed more sauce. Either way we left no crumbs behind. Service was great, staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The interior decor is outdated and the faux grapes with leaves should be removed. They also had toys for sale which looked old and kinda out of place. But as someone visiting from LA I'm probably more picky compared to locals who dine here regularly. read more

Tasty, but not a true Margherita Pizza. I ordered the Margherita pizza and it tasted good--the crust was nicely done, the tomatoes were fresh, and the overall flavor was enjoyable. However, it didn't really match what I'd expect from a classic Margherita. It came topped with black olives and jarred minced garlic, which shifted the flavor profile and made it feel more like a standard veggie pizza than the simple, traditional Margherita I was anticipating. If you're not particular about authenticity, you'll probably enjoy it. But if you're expecting the classic basil-mozzarella-tomato trio, this version might not hit the mark. I've eaten here a few times,gotten heart burn and never anything to love about the place to go back.Definitely an off experience every time.Throughout the years the business went downhill and the previous owner never held regular hours and finally moved on.Under new ownership now they uphold their hours of operation but the quality hasn't improved. Ate here with family last night and potato skins frozen in the middle. Pizza was extra thin as if they pressed a medium dough into an extra large,it was like cracker crust! Cheese was cheap and had collagulated already when delivered. The calzone lacked everything including a brushing of olive oil or butter on top. Above our table where we sat were boxes of toys collecting dust on a shelf with price tags as if we were at a swap meet,making our dining experience tacky and classless. To top it off they don't have restrooms and the owner told me to go across the street to another restaurant for bathroom use. Really? Isn't there a law that requires every restaurant to have at least one bathroom???Can't even wash hands there before eating! The food there was the only thing we ate all day and it gave us all diarrhea!!!!! Not going back ever!!!!!! GETTING HERE: Located on Main Street in Santa Paula between 9th and 10th Streets. If you are heading Eastbound on Main Street, it's located on the left hand side of the street. REVIEW: This review is based on a pick-up order: Sadly, I do not know where to begin on this review. I have heard wonderful things about their food, in fact my friends were raving about it. So, while I had had this bookmarked for a while I prioritized getting out here asap. Here's where it turns a bit South. As I said it was pick-up order, and while there were 2 employees hustling, it was quite busy inside. Waited and waited, had called in the order, and finally was able to pay for my pizza and head out. In hindsight, I wish I would have taken a quick peek at the pizza before I left, but alas, I did not. When I got home I was disappointed. Quite disappointed. As you can see in my picture the pizza crust was burned. The entire pizza was so thin and the pepperoni was very sparce. I had higher hopes and expectations for their food based on what I had heard from others. Granted, I am hoping this is just a one-off and I will try them again, but I just wish I would have said something there in the restaurant had I known it was burned. The Garlic Cheesy Bread was tasty, but I tasted zero garlic. 2.5 stars and rounding up to 3 as I love me some bread and some cheese. Earlier in the year, I moved to Santa Paula and I was coming to town with a moving truck and very tired and hungry after a long day of loading the truck. 30 minutes away I decided a pizza would be the best reward for hard day. I ordered a large Tuscany pizza and they said it would be ready in 30 minutes, perfect. Upon arriving after nobody greeting me or asking me while I waited at the counter, I asked the person in the kitchen where my pizza was, and they were confused asking me when I ordered it and what it was. They hadn't started making my pizza. I thought they would get right on it, but they took orders from other people before they even started my pizza. If I wasn't starving, I would've walked out right then but not knowing the area I waited, and waited. 45 minutes later, he told me my pizza was done. It was OK. A little underdone on the toppings, but I will never go back here. Rude and unprofessional. read more

Tuscany Pizzaria in downtown Santa Paula is nothing like corporate chains Pizza Hut, Dominos, Little Caesars. Instead it's an old school family owned and staffed place reminiscent of a much earlier time, specializing in Chicago Style Deep Dish pizza ever since it opened. Decor is suitably Italian, walls enhanced by quite a few posters and paintings. Even though I've lived in Santa Paula for about 20 years, I somehow never got around to visiting Tuscany until just recently when I was joined by my step son and step daughter who were very anxious to try Chicago Deep Dish for a change of pace. On the other hand I was at the opposite end of the scale by asking for a thin crust, my favorite, which they're not in the habit of serving because most people don't order it. The chef agreed to try making one, but I have to say the result was more of a "standard" crust than what I consider to be a true "thin," though all in all it was still a cut above average. Good pepperoni. The Chicago Style Deep Dish measured up to everyone's expectations and then some. My companions both loved it, and I was impressed by its hefty size and ratio of thick crust to a very meaty filling. Be advised that it takes nearly an hour to prepare and cook in their brick-fired oven, so you may want to order in advance to avoid a fairly long wait time. Tuscany had only two noticeable downsides while we were there... 1) Terrible music being piped in over their sound system rather than traditional Italian pop and classical to match the decor. The owner told us they usually do play appropriate music, but on this day there was a technical glitch. 2) There is no washroom in the front dining area. To access it you have to walk through the entire kitchen until you're almost at their back door. An awkward and inconvenient trip. All things considered, the three of us rate Tuscany's Chicago Style Deep Dish pizza a 10, while the best I can do for my "thin" crust is give it an 8. read more
