Reading all the false advertising of minimal down time, mild pain, addressing fine lines, deep wrinkles, age spots, uneven skin tone, and skin texture. My experience was just the opposite multiplied. It has been almost 2 years now since the treatment and my skin looks worst now than before the treatment. I check with another dermatologist who validated my opinion of too aggressive and the wrong settings were used. I suffered significant pain and it took a long time to heal. I still have grid marks from the laser used on my face. Key Laser would not refund and of the thousands spent on ruining my skin. This was a difficult lesson to learn.

The 1st was very kind but very slow. The second was very fast but some days too rushed and left patches of hair untreated. Ava was just right. She was the fastest at hair removal than the others but also very detailed. My skin was so smooth. She also has a solution she uses before treatment to help soothe the area so it is less painful and not red and irritated after treatment. I haven't been able to see her for a while now because of finances but I am going to start seeing her again and I can't wait! Scheduling is easy too. She calls you back promptly when scheduling an appointment and gives you many options to choose from when booking. While in treatment, she doesn't take phone calls and gives you her undivided attention. She is also pleasant to chat with during treatment and very intelligent.

Point is, I found Vigam right before quarantine and DR Uba was so wonderful, so nice, so on it, and so calming. She pretty much read my mind when I was trying to explain to her what I was wanting... I also didn't want my face to look too different, just more..you know, smooth and full in diff areas. And that is what she did. I ended up getting juvederm in my lips and a lil bit if Botox in the eye area and in that stinkin upper lip. I got the "Lip flip". FABULOUS. She was gentle to the touch, plus she had her assistant put a vibrating tool near my lips to cause my focus on it, rather than the needle. Love this. It was very comfortable and the Dr knew how to calm me. On that note...I was a anxious mess and she soothed me with talking out how it will end up, and got me a cool cloth and ice water. I was like a sick child scared of the needle. Lol. Poor her dealing with me. Smh. The location of the clinic is easy, right off Cornelius Pass rd and TV highway. Very clean and shiny inside. I've been on a hair restoration forum for years and any mention of Dr. Gabel is met with "He's the best on the west side of the country" and "Oh he was trained by (can't remember the name)!" who is apparently a pioneer or something for hair restoration. I don't know all the details but Dr. Gabel is personable, professional, and answers his own emails! I can't say enough good things about this clinic. I'm not sure if it mentions on his website, but I did a NO shave FUE. I explained to Houda that I have dry, sensitive skin and am on tretinoin, which further sensitizes skin. Certain ingredients don't mix well with tretinoin and if you're doing a peel, micro needling, etc you have to stop tret use for several days leading up to treatment. During my facial, she applied a salicylic acid mask that immediately burned my skin, to the point that my eyes were watering and it was unbearable to leave on longer than about a minute or two. By the time I got home, my skin was bright red, like a bad sunburn. By 10/11, my skin was peeling off in chunks. I emailed Houda and she replied some dryness and tightness is normal. I am now 4 days out and my entire face is still peeling in large pieces. If I was there for peel, that'd be ok, but I just went for a facial and had no intention of getting a peel and it was never discussed. Houda's response to my concerns has felt a bit dismissive and told me this is a normal reaction. If that's the case, I wish the communication had been better- I had no idea she was going to use a product that'd cause my face to peel intensely for days on end. After looking into the product used, it is not intended to cause peeling. It seems like this product shouldn't have been used on sensitive skin or on a client using tretinoin. The manufacturer of the product advised me to see a doctor regarding this reaction. Based on other reviews I know Houda can do great work, unfortunately I don't think this is a good option for people with sensitive skin looking for a facial.

Houda, the proprietor, zapped them in a matter of a few minutes and they are now completely gone. Houda also does tattoo removal - for people who lacked the good judgement not to get dolphins and Garfield that Cat tatted to their ankles back in the 80's. The salon is gorgeous and she works Tuesday - Saturday: 10 am - 6:30 pm and her prices are lower than other salons that I'd checked out. If you want to get rid of some cherry moles or ridiculous tattoos (that your mother warned you not to get), give her a call.
