Second visit said I still owed $85 for additional X-rays. If you get a very expensive bridge everything should be included in the cost as per Delta Dental. When I complained the extra $85 was waived as a courtesy. I am now told I owe $29 for an another final X-ray to make sure the bridge was right. When you pay just make sure it is the FINAL TOTAL.

The reason for my review being 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact the staff repeatedly ignored me when I explained several times that the insurance we have does not cover Sunrise Dentistry. Our daughter has a heart condition and the Dentist recommended we go to another Dentist that she referred us to. The office gave the phone number and never sent our daughters paperwork nor gave our insurance to the other Dentist to see if we could be accepted, but gave us a date to go to this office. When I spoke to the other Dentist office Sunrise Dentistry they told me they do not accept our insurance and we would have to pay out of pocket. Well this office that we've been going to for two years explained due to her heart she has to go here. Well I found out that's far from the truth cause again the staff never returned my phone calls to ask for help on finding a solution cause our daughter needed a good dentist and a place that covered her. Well on 01-08-19 if you want it done the right way do it yourself. I located another dentist who accepted our insurance, called her heart surgeon and contacted our insurance to see if for sure we were good too which we were. Went to the dentist and the dentist himself stated he can do all the procedures in his office with our heart surgeons approval to which again we were approved. It's good to know that Wagoners office staff literally are not helpful at all and basically lied about helping in anyway shape or form. I also noticed they stated we had to go to Sunrise Dentistry due to her heart which was false cause her surgeon had never stated she had to go cause she's been doing fine. I'm not bashing this office by any means, I'm only pointing out flaws or areas that could be changed in the future if they do read this. I again asked for help and honestly never received it, but they said don't worry we will locate the approximate office to care for your daughter. What's upsetting is when I was told her files went to Sunrise Dentistry when they did not and I had to call this office 5 times along with locating a new doctor. It just seems soon as they need you to go elsewhere they easily drop you like a fly and your on your own.

They took x-rays and did a very thorough exam and cleaning. I felt like he did a very in-depth exam that most dentists don't do. They looked at the entire mouth health and not just how clean my teeth were. Everyone from the receptionist to the hygienists to the dentist were very warm and friendly. They answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. They take my insurance (yay!), so I will be a regular patient here from now on.

When I came to his office kind and professional staff greeted me. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed which helped put some of my fear at bay. I went to Modern Dental on Maryland Parkway & Silverado Ranch with Dr. Mark Edington, and I can honestly say this was the most comfortable dental experience I've ever had. Steve, the dental assistant, was absolutely amazing. He did all of my X-rays and somehow made me feel completely relaxed and comfortable. He understood my anxiety without making me feel embarrassed or rushed. For the first time ever, I didn't feel panicked sitting in a dental chair. We took a lot of pictures, and not once did I feel like I needed to leave the office. That says a lot for someone like me who truly fears the dentist. Dr. Mark Edington was also incredibly kind and welcoming. Funny enough, he was actually my oldest son's dentist when my son was around 5 years old, and now my son is 30! I expected Dr. Edington to look so much older after all these years, but he looks great and still has such a warm personality. And Lori, the office manager, is an absolute firecracker in the best way possible! She went above and beyond helping me figure out financing and got me approved for a payment plan when I honestly didn't think I had a chance.
