I really love Dr. Henry. She's so kind, and helpful and was very helpful with our pit bull.

People who care deeply for animals often build strong…read morerelationships with vets because those doctors are there for both the joyful moments and the hardest ones. Over many years, I've seen Dr. rescue animals that have been injured and he nursed back to health. I've seen his office filled with five or six animals at a time. Animals he's just graciously taken in and provided a home for them. Veterinarians like Dr. Terkel often have to balance compassion with medical judgment. When a pet is suffering, they may recommend difficult decisions--sometimes including euthanasia--to prevent further pain. Even when it's medically sound, that advice can be incredibly hard for families to hear. And except especially when the pet feels like a true member of the family. When a beloved pet dies, people can experience grief similar to losing a human loved one. That grief can include: * Sadness and deep loss * Questioning decisions ("Did we do the right thing?") * Anger or disagreement with the situation * Guilt or second-guessing All of those reactions are normal parts of grieving a companion animal.

Would not trust anyone else with our pets. Dr Turkal is an interesting character and doesn't bother…read morewith pleasantries, which might offend some, but I love it. He's straight to the point, doesn't do unnecessary testing or procedures and is very reasonably priced. His staff is also amazing and very caring.

What a fantastic Veterinary practice. Dr. Mike is…read moreabsolutely awesome. He is knowledgeable, kind and considerate. The entire staff is friendly and very helpful. My questions get answered, my dog gets great care and she just loves Dr. Mike. Recently they squeezed us in on a busy Saturday and took care of a sudden ailment with my dog. Everything went so well. I highly recommend this veterinary practice!

Do not be fooled by the SEO reviews. My experience with Dr. Kemp was horrible. I offered to take her out so Dr. Kemp could examine her but that woman (dr.) declined and clearly had no interest in continuing the visit as if I am not welcomed. She seemed eager to end this session ASAP. Prior to taking my cat in I discussed my concerns over the phone with the vet tech and also mentioned I am looking to get flea treatment as a preventative measure they seemed excited about it thinking I will buy from them, but as soon as I mentioned to Dr. Kemp that I want a written prescription so I can get it from chewy as I have a coupon, her tone shifted. Finally after 2 minutes of talk, she said she will get me the prescription for gabapentin and revolution and disappeared for 25 minutes, just so she could drag out the visit and collect her fee for no service provided. I could hear her chit chatting with the staff. Then finally the vet tech came with gabapentin med, and told the front desk that the woman (dr.) would not prescribe Revolution because my cat had not been weighed, even though I had already offered to take her out for an exam and they had every chance to weigh her. They wanted me to come in again for follow up appointment while still charging me for no service. Total time with the doctor was 2 minutes. I am a seasoned cat rescuer and a foster parent with a fair share of problematic cats and vets. This is the worst form of greed and incompetency I have ever experienced. Edit: the cat carrier had 3 zipped sides that completely opens, if they really wanted to get her out they could have done so but they did not choose to.

The first thing we did once adopting her was make an appointment at our vet, Thomson Animal Clinic. We were able to get an appointment within a few weeks. All we really wanted to do was get her on file at the vet and have a well visit. When making the appointment my boyfriend was told he could come inside for the visit (which is what he wanted due to having multiple questions) They still have Covid restrictions in place (which is okay) However, we weren't able to speak to the vet or vet tech regarding our multiple questions on our new rescue. Everything is done over the phone in the parking lot. It's not very personable anymore, unfortunately. Feels more like a transaction instead of passion and care for an animal. I made an entire folder our new dog with all her info, vaccine history, questions, etc and no one even looked at it. We'll likely be switching vets going forward due to this issue.

We've experienced a few too many mishaps to consider going here again--scheduling issues, extremely high costs, a dingy facility, and most importantly, questionable medical advice. They completely brushed off a major complication our pregnant foster kitty was having (they told us it was just a placenta; we took her to the ER later that day and discovered it was a mummified kitten that nearly cost her her life. Don't google it! It was horrifying.). There's a reason they always have appointments available! With so many other clinics in the area, it's just not worth bringing your pet to this place.
