Before they came, I personally wiped down all cabinets, had cleaned most baseboards within the last several weeks, did a full house cleaning in the week before, and steam cleaned my carpet. However, I wanted the move out cleaning nonetheless because there was a tight time frame for the move out. I thought it would be helpful. They knew the size of my house and how many bathrooms. I was told 3 hours likely and no more than 3 1/2 hours if it required extra cleaning. Since it was in good overall shape given the detailed cleaning I already did, I thought the 3 hours was more likely and told them that. It instead took over 4 hours (more like 4 /12) and I was billed additional funds. I also checked on the house 2/3rds into the original time estimate and most of the house had not yet been touched at all yet in the cleaning. I do also think that 3 hours was a reasonable up front time estimate for the size and condition of the house. Move out is a vulnerable time. I was disappointed in having this experience on an important day.

Twice he acknowledged/approved my requested appointment time and twice he did not let me know that he was not going to be here. Preparing in advance to have the carpet cleaned is no joke. Moving things, vacuuming, making sure someone will be home, and then nothing. I'm guessing that Mr. Parker doesn't have a secretary or any sort of office help and left to himself, he does not keep up with the courtesy of communications and appointment times. One big waste of time, go somewhere else for carpet service.

Obviously the cleaners are human and may occasionally miss something or have difficulty with something but Christine is always helpful and quick to try to remedy the situation. Then I got a quote via text for the size of my apartment and it was cheaper than other quotes I received, so I went for it. I haven't had a cleaner for a while so I even opted for a higher cost "deep clean". I left my door u locked and trusted them to clean without me present to watch (since it was recommended), but as soon as they arrived I was told via text that they need to upcharge me $50+ to do the services I ordered. They said they cannot finish the job in the 2 hours they had allocated for a "deep clean". So I asked how much time do they allocate for a regular clean? More than 1 hour I hope because I have never had a cleaner spend less than 2 hours on a regular clean. I assume for a deep clean they should allocate at least 3 hours, if not more. However, it was recommended and I truly needed a deep clean so I agreed to it. When I came back I will tell you that not only were deep clean items not done as promised (I asked for a list of things deep clean would include), such as the oven, the fridge, and basic kitchen countertop appliances, but the door frames, the floorboards, and the lamps were also not wiped. Furniture was not moved. I told them they didn't have to change sheets (part of their regular service), but somehow they still didn't have time. Why? They organized. A lot of organization from putting my kids' plushies in a row to putting my rugs in a different place etc. everything was moved and put in a new place--which I of course had to move back because I have my preferences. I'm not sure if there's some confusion on what the definition of a deep clean is between the scheduler and the actual team who came out to clean, but they did not deliver on what was promised and had the audacity to upcharge me for it.
